Hi! These are really cool glasses, and it's great to see lots of competition in this market, really pushes development! I hope you don't mind me asking, do you guys plan on bringing your Spacewalker app to windows' PCs any time soon? I feel like this would really be nice if you did. Anyways, thanks!
@@Heptatron I went ahead and ordered The Viture XR Pro even though the Windows Space Walker app is still only "coming soon". It seems that Viture started enough of a hype about Windows compatibility that they are obligated to deliver. Although, Xreal promised Windows compatibility and only ever delivered a pretty bad Beta version of Nebula that only works for SOME of their glasses and only on SOME specific PCs. I have had the Nreal 6DOF Lights since way before Nreal changed it's name to Xreal, and we were promised windows way back then, Back in spring of 2021 when the only way I could buy them was from Ebay Sellers in Korea. Now the Nreal Lights are only supported on Nebula for Android and recently got cut from support on Nebula for Mac, and Never supported on Windows, which BLOWS MY MIND considering they have been selling old stock Nreal Light glasses more recently as an alternative to their new Xreal Light Ultra 6DOF predecessor to the Nreal Light.
This is the best review of XR glasses I’ve seen. Don’t sell your ability to show the setup inside the glasses short. This is the best job I ever seen! Please do a comparison of the Vitures and Ray Neos next!

Thank you for the very detailed review. I just ordered my Viture Pro XR and am waiting for them to be shipped so this review helps build confidence that I made the right choice haha. Your review was very detailed. Thank you.
This is exactly the video I needed to see. Thanks for adding so much detail and for not just hyping each of them. There are a lot of “review” videos out there - more so from XReal, that are clearly paid promotions.
this is probably the most informative and well-informed review i’ve watched on this platform, thank you so much for making this video! going with the Viture Pros with your discount :)
Excellent and comprehensive videos on the Viture Pro XR and Xreal Air 2. I picked up the Viture Pros and am very happy with them thanks to your in depth analysis. Now I can take my panoramic monitor with me. Keep up the great work.
Having tried both the Quest 3 (and Immersed) and the Xreal Air, I have to say that for anything "spatially anchored"/3 DoF (the default on the Quest), the Xreal were quite bad, tbh. Mainly, the "spatialization" was *jittery*. I agree they're more portable, and in 0DoF, they're outstandigly good to watch movies and tv shows (to they do have their great use cases!). But the only time I forced myself to using it in productivity mode / 3DoF using Nebula on an Mac Book Pro M2, I got a headache after 45min from the jitter. Do the Viture Pro handle that better, locking things in space as well as any VR headset does? Because given that, Immersed on the Quest 3 has been, to me, leaps and bounds better than these so-called AR glasses.
Yeah so you can lock the screen in space but it's not as good as the MQ3, it works and I honestly have no issues with it but if you didn't get on with the xreal it probably won't change much with the vitures - the glasses & software are better imo but if you prefer the MQ3 and immersed and dont have any issues with the portability/setup etc id just continue with the quest bro
Finally someone who does similar stuff as I makes a quality video. I've been stalking AR glasses for a year but haven't bit the bullet. My day to day is on a 49" ultra wide so I don't think I "need" them most of the time, but would be fantastic for when I'm working from my laptop away from my desk. I just need to find out if the apps will run on linux.
Literally same for me I use my 49" will never replace it but whilst I'm away these are PERFECT or even whilst I want to work outside I've been using them a lot whenever the sun makes an appearance .. No idea with the linux side I'm afraid but sure there would be a way ...
Immersed has a Linux version, I haven't tried it because I'm currently in the research stage of VR, but it seems like a promising solution to replace multiple monitors, specially for productivity outside of your main workstation.
@@Gengh13I've used Immersed and love it, I just do not like wearing the headset for long. I'm really hoping Visor turns out to be good as that would be the ideal solution with a better fov. These small form factors are what appeals to me after spending time with more bulky headsets because the comfort level wears off fairly quickly.
Thank god for you. I've been scouring around trying to find a real review that shows what it's like to live with these things, but all I can find are 20 minute infomercials.
@@JohnnyWishbone85 thanks mate! I always try to fill my videos with information I thinks useful it’s hard as everyone has different opinions but I try to fit as much in as I can and just speak truthfully about my experiences / views and opinions in the hopes it’ll help someone 😊
What's your take on eye strain? From what I understand the VR headset is basically screens super close to your eyes, meanwhile the glasses is basically a projection on the lenses (which yeah they are close to your eyes anyways, but it's not directly beaming into your eyes). I'm mostly interested in comparing it with a typical monitor
Thank you for your Video. I have a question regarding functionality: In Meta Store there is a app called Fluid which enables Spatial working with the Quest 3. Is there anything similar on Viture Pro XR or the XReal Air 2?
The glasses just work from whatever you have going on from your phone, MacBook etc both glasses have software for remote desktops which is kinda “spatial” but the fluid and MQ3 are totally diff
Adam, really great comparison, especially for us focused on work and productivity, thanks! Question: How many VSCode tabs do you think you can have open with the Viture's? And do you feel that one could program comfortably for 3-4 hours (with short breaks) using the Viture's as the "primary display"?
Thanks man. Honestly as many as you with the different layouts easily 3+ Yea I’ve used these and even xReal in past to work for 4,5,8+ hours in a day - personally no issues I really do like them
Thanks Adam! Extremely helpful to know that you can fire up 3-4 coding tabs AND work longish hours with the Viture's. The case for buying external portable monitors or expensive dual-screen laptops has completely gone away with this kind of tech.
i searched a while ago on which device to get. The problem with the glasses is the field of view, as you see in this video, you cannot see multiple monitors at once which kind of ruins the point of multiple monitors. Talked with several redditors and heard they had issues with the glasses software, but maybe that kind of issue is patched by now. but I ended up getting the quest 3, and 100% happy with it. I spend 80% of my time working in the Immersed app, and while not as comfortable as glasses, i can position the monitors and resize them exactly to what i need for work, i can adjust them easily when i use from my standing desk or sitting down, and i can block out the environment to increase focus. About portability, well i travel often and being able to carry 5 monitors everywhere i go is portable enough for me lol maybe if you are concerned about public use then glasses have an edge.
Yeah I get what you’re saying but I think realistically you can’t see more than one monitor without moving your head anyways in real life or on the quest you’re good for like 24” or so then have to move to look. I’ve used immersed for entire working days and it is fantastic I really recommend it, I just find the glasses much easier to pick up and get going without the extra steps to get going and they are way more comfortable to wear of course but there are no bad choices here imo just preferences 👊🏼
Hi, Can i connect the XR glasses any, with a mac book pro, 2016-late 15in, but the laptop display of be dead, and function only with external displays,... with or without an external display? Or likewise with a mini-PC with USB-C PD3.0 connect the xr classes, but not use a display, to connect... in other words use connect xr glasses by using glasses themselves instead an external display if that's the case... not having extra display...well?
It's a shame that for the XR glass with their Lens Shade accessory there is not an extension around it in a soft and pleasant material to cover everything around the bezel (to close completely underneath, on the sides).
Can you say more about text sharpness and clarity on the Viture's? I've heard mostly negative things about the XREAL Air 2 as a productivity device, especially with blurry text at corners. To what extent do the Viture's improve on this? Can they match the clarity of an actual monitor?
No they’re not can match of a monitor yet but they’re very good and totally usable, I genuinely use these glasses for coding and even video editing if you follow me on Instagram you’ll see my story posts from time to time of me using them. The clarity and sharpness is decent in my opinion
Watching this with my Viture glasses. Unfortunately, it looks like the Skywalker app is not available for Mac OS, only iOS. Still great. But I would love the multi screens.
@@damilolaomidire4669 I’d still pick the VITURE for my use cases imo - they have a neckband which is similar tot the beam and they might have a new cool version on the way 👀
@@thedeveloperadam thanx so much for your response.... One more thing though please.. I have an iPhone 14 and was worried about how easy to use with the adapter? The xreal beam pro is a dedicated device so that takes the need for my phone out of the equation. Would you still suggest going for the Viture pro?
Thanks for such amazing Video, i was searching for a VR glasses for mainly reading and media consuming, and before watching the video was convinced to buy the meta quest 3 as a stand alone device, but now I'm leaning towards Viture pro more but I have many questions 1- do I need the XR adaptor to get multiscreen on iPhone 15 pro? (and what about multiscreen on android?) 2- can I resize these screens or zoom in\out? 3- how long it will last connected to a fully charged iPhone without recharging? 4- will it be clear\suitable to read on? 5- for media can I play a stored video on the iPhone or only stream services works? Sorry for the long comment, but that's what I'm looking for in the VR\XR device to buy Thanks again
Thanks, both the MQ3 and XR glasses are great choices. The MQ3 is a standalone unit and as such has many more things you can use it for, the XR glasses are powered from the device you're plugging them into, phones, laptops, consoles etc so they last as long as the battery in the phone/laptop does. Both the VITURE PROs and MQ3 are great for reading, they're not at 4k yet but both totally usable for reading, I use both for work as a programmer which is nothing but reading text all day. You can watch anything, just think of the glasses as an external display - what you see on your phone you will see through the glasses also. I recently laid outside with the glasses on and watched a few episodes of the boys in the garden haha.
This is a great review. I wonder if the XR glasses could be used as the only screen for a Mac mini for video editing, watching online TV, and playing simple games?
@@StarCaledonia defo but depends on what’s usable for you, I could use them as a standalone monitor if I had too. A monitor is still my go to but for on the go I love these.

I didn't know your channel but I thought your analysis of the products was fantastic, congratulations. I wanted to ask you if you see it possible to use for productivity in an engineering to perform 3D modeling, remove the current monitors and replace them with Viture glasses? And on the other hand, you have used Viture in Simracing replacing the panoramic monitor, is it viable? thank you so much.
Thanks man - I've never done any 3d modelling so can't say. I don't think glasses will replace monitors yet not for me, I'd always pick a monitor over the glasses for a fixed/permanent setup. I haven't used them for sim racing or any "Hard" gaming yet - perhaps ill try some more and see how it is
When editing using davinci, can you have one screen on the spacewalker app displaying the timeline edit view and another screen showing the video output only? Or can you arrange it that way on the ultra wide option? Also does the 120 hz refresh get rid of motion blur completely or is it still apparent when you move your head? Thanks

Awesome review! Thank you! It would have been nice to see a pro vs. pro comparison for the XR glasses, though. Question: Can you stream the video seen through the XR glasses to an external device?
The only difference with the pro and non pro for xReal is the tint I believe. I’m not sure from the glasses themselves I use obs to record the screen if using the virtual desktop
Which AR glasses are the best for watching movies? I'm leaning towards Viture Pro, but Rokid Max is supposedly 200+ inches vs. Viture's 135 inch. Virture Pro supposedly has better picture quality. Thanks!
I honestly think the screen sizes are pretty similar I dunno where they get the stats from as I dunno how you measure that lol so all pretty similar size but VITURE defo for now has a better quality imo
Thanks for the review. Still a bit hesitate in deciding whether to go for XR or VR for my setup. But at least now I know I can use Viture more than the Quest 3. Maybe I just need to replace my phone with one which it can support and it would have been the perfect one.
@@thedeveloperadam Well, I am thinking of getting a monitor replacement. Don't have much room or desk space and usually only at my desk in late hours, roommate are sensitive to light. The idea of having a 135" screen is what got me looking at XR but then I remember, at this price point, there's a VR headset. Multimedia and Gaming. Having a Windows laptop with i9-12gen HX with RTX 4080 in it. I thought XR glass would be better for me given the long hours I spent outside, commuting, etc. and at home could just plug it on my laptop for gaming needs. Xreal’s macOS desktop app, nebula, does it allow for 120hz yet? And does it allow for 3-monitor (portrait, landscape, portrait) orientation yet like the Vitures? Can you please elaborate how big the screen is for you compared to your existent ultra wide? In the video it looks like it is quite smaller than the display, but this could be due to the recording setup.
@@thedeveloperadam but how is it compared to your Macbook or Ultrawide in this case - with the same viewing distance? This should be quite comparable, right?
The blurring on the xreals made it really hard for ne to use and the nebula app on android was kind of broken. I migjt give the vitures a chance but i had to waste money on inserts, and I'll still have to do the same on the vitures since i am -8, a bit far from -5.
I’m short sighted and tend to bring my monitor close. How close can you bring a virtual screen? i.e. can you set where the virtual screens sit in respect to your view field?
Would love an updated video on using these for productivity for a long time i find that when using quest 3 for more than 1 hour text reading is tiring as the aliasing and ppd of quest 3 does not do well for long text reading. The ar glasses are very fuzzy and see through and are less as good as quest 3
The Vitures are my go to and can use them all day honestly - I’ve done a full day of working using the MQ3 and the Xreals I need to do one for the vitures
Thank you, I was wondering about this. I had the XReal Pro's but I returned them and got the Viture because of the blurry corners. The Xreal's aren't bad, but if I can have an experience with no blurry corners then count me in. I did use the XReal Pro's on a flight and they were amazing.
Exactly, there is more end to end clarity with the viture from my experience but as a user you already know that finding the sweet spot in terms of fitment is just as important.
Hi, DeveloperAdam. Great information! I have some questions regarding text clarity between the Meta Quest 3 and the Viture Pro XR. Which of these two devices offers better text readability, even if the text is small and thin? Do they come close to replicating the experience of a real monitor in terms of image quality and pixel sharpness? If so, which one gets closer to that experience?
@@GigabyteZer0 honestly they’re similar, they don’t match a screen but they’re totally readable imo. You can adjust displays in terms of how close which helps find a sweet spot but it’s also down to the persons preference and eye sight. I like quite clear text and both offer clear enough text for myself to work with
As someone who just purchased the xreal air 2 pros, are the Viture one pros recommended over these for gaming and content consumption. I’m just looking for the glasses that have the best overall image quality, but as the Viture pros are new, I haven’t been able to get a good comparison of those vs the air 2 pros. Any advice is appreciated!
Which would you choose if you didn’t need to be “on the go” but you wanted a permanent virtual setup home office for Mac ? So don’t count portability. Just comfort, ease of use, clarity, etc.
Comfort - XR Glasses Ease of use - XR Glasses Clarity - It's similar in my experience. But the whole VR vs XR is a totally different thing - the MQ3 is an insane device and works incredibly well for a home virtual setup. Personally I use my Vitures more than anything - the immersed & VR working is the coolest but I just never find myself reaching for it that often compared to the XR glasses which I do use whilst in the garden etc.
Thoughts on the issue that Viture has with the green tint? Especially since you've used the glasses to edit videos before... Also wondering about wearing these for productivity purposes (3 hours at a time), is the Xreal that much more comfortable than the Viture. Cheers!
Nice review! Question, now that the Q3 has that HDMI passthrough, would you consider doing a review for DevSecOps workflows using them?! I'd also love your opinion on best terminal settings for 'all day' use for those of us that have been rockin the green on black for years! 😅 I feel like the 'general' idea should be applicable to all 3? This is exactly the video I needed to see. Thanks for adding so much detail and for not just hyping each of them. There are a lot of “review” videos out there - more so from XReal, that are clearly paid promotions.
this is probably the most informative and well-informed review i’ve watched on this platform, thank you so much for making this video! going with the Viture Pros with your discount :)
@@ミッ thanks so much for watching, I do try to cover as much as I can 😊
Excellent and comprehensive videos on the Viture Pro XR and Xreal Air 2. I picked up the Viture Pros and am very happy with them thanks to your in depth analysis. Now I can take my panoramic monitor with me. Keep up the great work.
Hey man I appreciate that thanks!
I think mq3 better because the fov, with the AR glasses I had move my head around just to see the corners of the screen
Immersed has passthrough mode, prívate rooms and supports up to 5 screens per device, and You can have more than one device connected.
Yeah immersed is amazing I’ve used it a lot for entire working days even

What's your take on eye strain? From what I understand the VR headset is basically screens super close to your eyes, meanwhile the glasses is basically a projection on the lenses (which yeah they are close to your eyes anyways, but it's not directly beaming into your eyes). I'm mostly interested in comparing it with a typical monitor
I don’t suffer from it too much so glasses, Vr, monitor doesn’t bother me really unless I really push it and I’m tired
Well I also don’t have trouble with monitor normally, been using screens for a lifetime. Just thinking in the long term
@@Karrq I’d say you should be ok but ofc everyone is different just take regular breaks
Thanks man.
Honestly as many as you with the different layouts easily 3+
Yea I’ve used these and even xReal in past to work for 4,5,8+ hours in a day - personally no issues I really do like them
Thanks Adam!
One of the best reviews, exactly what I was looking for,
Can please comment on how this looks compared to a 4K screens?
Thanks! It’s not as good as any 4k monitor but that doesn’t mean they’re not good. Totally usable as they are 🙏🏼
Hi,
Can i connect the XR glasses any, with a mac book pro, 2016-late 15in, but the laptop display of be dead, and function only with external displays,... with or without an external display? Or likewise with a mini-PC with USB-C PD3.0 connect the xr classes, but not use a display, to connect... in other words use connect xr glasses by using glasses themselves instead an external display if that's the case... not having extra display...well?
It's a shame that for the XR glass with their Lens Shade accessory there is not an extension around it in a soft and pleasant material to cover everything around the bezel (to close completely underneath, on the sides).
Yeah wouldn’t be a bad option tbh

Thanks, both the MQ3 and XR glasses are great choices.
The MQ3 is a standalone unit and as such has many more things you can use it for, the XR glasses are powered from the device you're plugging them into, phones, laptops, consoles etc so they last as long as the battery in the phone/laptop does.
Both the VITURE PROs and MQ3 are great for reading, they're not at 4k yet but both totally usable for reading, I use both for work as a programmer which is nothing but reading text all day.

As someone who just purchased the xreal air 2 pros, are the Viture one pros recommended over these for gaming and content consumption. The xreals do have more blurred edges over the viture I’ve found - bare in mind though fitting is important with any glasses
@@thedeveloperadam so you mean the xreals have a better fitting than the viture? and using the xreal beam if you increase the screen to 330 inches do you still experience the blurred edges?
@@jamesikhimioya562 The vitures are a better display it's more edge to edge without blurred edges, fitment is all personal so can't really comment.
They fit me great and I have no issues.
I've not tried using the beam with the vitures not sure it would work? But the screen size is plenty you could really have it any bigger without then having blurred edges from a FOV point of view.
Amazing review! I appreciate your insight
Thanks 😊
Dude! What is that plant thing you have on your desk?
It’s from ome design they do tons of cool stuff like this!

Thanks for the video. Have you noticed eyestrain issues after an extended use of XR glasses?
I haven’t noticed it honestly but I’m quite familiar with these and VR headsets so maybe my tolerance is high it is something you can build though (tolerance)
I have both and 9 times out of ten I grab the Quest for this. Sure it's heavy, and it's an LCD. However there's no cabled mess to deal with. Also, there's hand tracking, and 6dof support. I do have a 3rd party strap and a fan on my Quest but so far the Xreal have been useless. They also have a terrible fov.
Yea the MQ3 is awesome, I’ve used it and loved it but I still find I reach for the VITURE pros personally I just love the ease of use and lightweight option more so now.
Immersed on the MQ3 is a game changer for working remotely though 👌🏼
Amazing review! Try any of the drm stuff like hulu, primevideo etc with viture pro ? Does the 3dof work?
I assume it all works I’ve watched fallout on prime with the glasses 😅 well the 3dof works on the SpaceWalker app both iOS and macOS
@@thedeveloperadam thanks!!!
Is the screen size difference noticable?
It is but it’s a huge difference going to and back you can notice it though - it’s as big as it needs to be imo any bigger and you just can’t see because of fov
Great review!
Thanks 😊
The Xreal Air 2 Pro's also have electrochromic dimming that cycle through three levels up to 99% also.
Yeah I was lucky enough to try the xReal air 2 pros at an event before but it wasn’t enough time to really play with them
I just ordered the Viture XR Pro's because you seem like you really enjoy them and I want to see if I will really like them more than my Xreal Air 2 pro's.
cn the glasses use the program emby to stream your movies from your computer. I don't want to use a phone as it has battery limits
You could potentially with the neckband but the glasses need power from something either the neckband, laptop, phone etc
@@thedeveloperadam what is a neck band. I was hoping to have a stand alone glasses that get wifi signals from my computer that acts as a server for emby movies. is there such a glasses available. I don't want it to be connected to anything by wire.

In meta q3 I can see pixels, does the viture shows pixels ?
I have the Original Viture One's and cannot see pixels. The Viture Pro's are suppose to be even better so I doubt it.
Do you think you could play a game in a 21 x 9 ultra wide setting with these glasses?
yeah these are suited for gaming too see my dedicated reviews which might help
whats the battery on this Viture Pro XR?
@@tOnySi What do you mean their dock or?
The Viture XR pro just look really tiny. Almost too small for larger head sizes... I think that's a deal breaker for me though I do wish the Xreal Air 2 had the blur/eyesight adjustment wheel.
Yeah they are a fixed size and I’d say average sized
I need Viture to make a wider version or Xreal to make myopia adjustable versions. I have a large head. Guess I’ll have to continue waiting.
Is it possible to stream VR Videos from my DLNA? - What accessories to I need to go with it on Viture Pro XR?
Off base, but where did you get your desktop background? I really like it!
It’s a macOS wallpaper 😊
@@thedeveloperadam Thanks!! I was looking through and I didn't see it. But I found it now!
I'm going to edit my comment and simplify my question to. Does it seem like it makes sense to switch to viture pro glasses full/part time for coding?
They work for coding yeah either part or full time I’d have no issues but they don’t replace a monitor just yet
@@thedeveloperadaminteresting, why do you think they don’t replace a monitor just yet?
Wait, so you have to have that adapter for the Virtue's to get multi screen and is there enhanced 3 degrees of freedom? Is this adapter necessary in your use cases?
Is this with the mobile app?
Top review 👌🏽
Thanks Gaz!
on the virtue pro, is each virtual display on a 3 screen mode 1080p? how about the ultrawide one?
Yeah the actual physical displays are 1080p so any of the virtual displays are that also
@@thedeveloperadam well that is a disappointment
@@Shark-fj2sz what is? I know everyone wants 4k - I’d love to see it too but the 1080p display is very good as far as I’m aware even if the vital displays are 90000k it would still only be 1080p once you view it as that’s what the actually device screens are?
So is the actual screen you're looking at always semi-translucent? Can you not have a fully opaque screen to look at?
For which item? The VITURE glasses you have a screen and no tint or a screen with a tint which is like 99% black out
@@thedeveloperadam Oops, yes exactly.. the AR/XR glasses. I'm seriously considering the Vitures, but if the screen is at all "see through", I'm out.. I'll buy the Quest 3 instead.
@@wilcurran3377 they are but the electrochromic film is awesome and failing that you can pick up a lens cap which blocks 100% of light
@@thedeveloperadam The lens cap looks like it does the job! Hey thanks for the replies man, really appreciate it. I think I'm gonna give the Viture's a shot. Hey Viture, DeveloperAdam just got you a sale.. pay the man! 😁
@@wilcurran3377 haha your welcome man - I really do like them and think they’re great. No issues, build quality is up there and I really do enjoy using the whole XR glasses I’ve used them ALOT recently whilst working in the garden it’s been great
Thanks for the great video, how big is the field of view of the Viture pro compared to the Xreal Air 2s? What is your IPD?
They’re similar because the virtual screen size is roughly the same but it’s enough fov to watch, film or game imo
Thanks for this comparison Adam! I know you said they're both similar, but besides the blurry edges, would you say the text is a hair sharper on the vitures?
For coding on my xreal air 2s despite being usable i had wished the text was a little sharper.
Yeah I would because it’s not as blurred as such which helps for sure imo.
It’s plenty sharp enough to work on but ofc a 1440p display would be a nice upgrade on the next gen models perhaps!
