Id love to know more about the magic cards being few weeks ago I found no joke thousands of them all in containers, some are in protective covers etc.. any info thank you so much.
If y’all have a inventory of all the magic cards that would be great and the gray borders are because they’re unhinged you’re not allowed to play them in standard or any legal format.
MTG player here, super jealous of your finds! The Serra's Sanctum 13:40 is worth $300 looks real, 14:31 is Timetwister depending on the printing (and if it's real) it is in the $1000's, 14:36 is a freakin Mox Jet one of the "Power 9" in the same league as Black Lotus. Again if it's real $1000's. Let me know if you want any help etc. There are apps you can install on your phone that will allow you to scan the cards
The Magic find was really nice. It's possible those pixilated cards were just home printed proxies. One thing to keep in mind, check through a few cards and definitely go by dates on basic land cards because you could have an old deck using new lands. You have a Ravnica Allegiance and Guilds of Ravnica bundle box and it looks like you showed a Boros Guild Gate(not worth much) but there were definitely shock lands in those sets, which are worth money). Definitely take your time sorting through that collection. Also, Exodus, 1998, was the first set/year they used color coding of the set symbol to indicate rarity, so anything prior needs to be looked up to find the rarity.
Let me be clear, we valued all the cards as if they were commons! We're definitely hoping there's a lot better and more valuable cards inside those boxes and decks, just didn't have time to check before this video released!
Hey congratulations on all those cards the black locust card is from 1993 I think so keep you eye out for cards from the year 1993 Power Nine was it’s set
Jrebud the tote you found the Magic cards in it had a crucifix. Check it and see if the top slides upwards revealing an Exorcist kit inside, also known as a last rights kit. If so depending on its age, it could be worth a lot more than you paid for the unit. It looks just like one of the kits, same style and size of the cross. Just an FYI. Love you guys and I enjoy seeing all of your insane finds.
I feel so sorry for the guy who lost his unit. It was obviously filled with the things he treasured. Hope petty crime was his limit and he doesn't decide to track you down.
This guy took his stuff. You bet he’s gonna find out who got it and hunt this guy down. This is like grave robbing. You better hope this guy never finds you .
That Jean jacket was cool. I sold a couple thousand of dollars of MTG cards for a friend, sweet. The black lotus was first printed in 1993. Only printed in Alpha, Beta and Unlimited. Check the set name. The same card varies dramatically depending on the series it was released. But some newer cards can be worth money. Gah, I’d love to be there to help you. I did a lot of research. Older versions of Ancestral Recall, Mox Sapphire, Mox Jet, Timetwister, Mox Ruby, Mox Emerald, Time Walk, foil Intuition, Underground Sea, Copy Artifact and so on. Watch for foils. And look for Alpha and Betas. The band pics were cool.
Those patches you found are the 5 basic land types in magic the gathering. Forests green, mountains red, swamps black, plains white, and islands blue. Those cards are probably going to be a nice nice find. Cards without a date on the bottom left corner are from the alpha and beta series. And yes you can find super rare and expensive cards from each and every set. Very nice finds!
You completely undervalued this unit! Those magic cards and the pure volume you found, could fund an entire store! Amazing. I never played Magic, but I know there is value in it!
Hey guys I was so happy watching y'all driving cross the country, buying and selling those storage units only to turn around and donate all the money you made to St. Jude for the kids, y'all are doing Gods work. On vintage shirts one way you can tell the older shirts is by looking at the stitching on the sleeve and at the waist look for single stitching most new shirts have double stitching. Hope that helps!
13:42 is a Serra’s Sanctum and depending on the condition can range anywhere from $230-300. Some of the pixelated cards are most likely proxies (printed off an inkjet), but besides those, a collection like that you’re probably looking at thousands of dollars. I’d love to go through that, nice find!
Also the deck at 14:58 you had a demonic tutor ($30-150), argothian enchantress ($35-40), jet medallion ($25-30) and an Urborg tomb of yawgmoth ($35-40) from just what I could see. The value really adds up fast, there’s a TCGplayer app that you can scan the cards with your camera and it will tell you the value.
The pixelation he is talking about is actually the blurryness of the lettering not the artwork which is common for alpha and beta i can tell you the time twister he showed is exactly like my beta one
Hi Steven and Amber. Strange unit, but well worth it, with all those magic cards. Probably best taking to someone who knows what they're doing and what to look for. Blessings to you both.
Here are 15 rare cards. Tundra goes for 4k-5.5k, Chaos Orb goes for between 3k-8.5k, Timetwister normally runs for 8k the beta version of the card runs for 15.8k, Mox Pearl 8k, Shivan Dragon 3-6k, underground sea 6500, mox emerald 6500 up to 20k, Mox sapphire 9500 to 50k, Mox Jet 7600 to 10k, Time walk 9000, Mox Ruby 9400, ancestral recall 21k, Blue Hurricane has sold for up to 30,000, Black Lotus is currently worth 75k. and if you have Mox opal, emerald, sapphire, and jet plus the black lotus probably close to the 200k mark depending on condition.
If both the Mox Jet andf Timetwister are Beta Edition, you've got more than 20k in those two alone. If it's Alpha edition, way more. Everything else is a huge bonus.
The silver edge magic cards have very valuable basic lands! It’s a special set of spoof or prank cards. The patches are magic, the symbols for the mana or color power you use in game to play. You’re going to want to look for dual lands.. they have odd square lines where the text is on the bottom. Also, look for the power 9 which includes the black lotus an the mix cards, library of Alexandria.. mostly white border cards. The sets you want to find are alpha, beta and unlimited.after unlimited (aka 3rd edition) you’re going to see black border cards.. legends, the dark and some other black border cards are $$$. The boxes you found are also desirable, especially for card shops to flex with their decorating..
Silver bordered MTG are from an "UN" set and are usually about doing something goofy or out of the norm for regular play. They are quite fun sometimes.
@@Zerox271 those were proxies. You are the one not paying attention. They were part of the "fuzzy" cards and even I could tell from my phone they were proxies.

The silver bordered magic cards are from joke sets. The pixilated cars are probably proxies (not real cards). There's a lot of valuable cards from all through magic history. I think I saw at least a couple in there that are with somewhere in the $20 range. So definitely get someone to look through them
My parents had a cross like the one you found. It opens and inside there should be 2 candles and a bottle of Holy Water. It was used by a priest to anoint a sick or dying person.
I honestly think you should find at least one Magic expert in your area to sit down with and just look through all the cards to give you a good idea of their values. They may even buy some (or all) off of you. It's worth noting that while older cards do tend to be more expensive, newer cards shouldn't be written off! There may be some expensive rares in there worth $20-100 each, which an expert would know. You really scored the motherlode!
Amber vintage shirts are almost always single stitched... good idea to keep all concert shirts you find in decent shape since y'all aren't sure about them 🥰love ya🥰 keep up the great videos
You needed to check on the pink floyd shirts in the tote- big money! There is a great shop in Hopewell that will buy all of the magic cards! They pay good money!
Newer shirts have two r o w s of stitching going around the sleeves, vintage will only have one. If you've never heard Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall you seriously need to go and listen to it.
You should check all those blank page books for disappearing/invisible ink. You can use a black light. That would be crazy, Seems strange to lock them up if they really are blank
Not long after the initial release of Black Lotus in 1993, it was swiftly restricted and subsequently banned from all but MTG's Vintage format, making one solitary appearance in the 1994 MTG Championships before never being seen again.
Black Lotus Estimated Value: $100,000 to $250,000. I also found this: Black Lotus card from Magic: The Gathering ’s original launch - August 1993, so, happy upcoming 25th anniversary, while we’re at it - went for $87,672 after bidding closed this week.
I can’t say for sure why they locked up the notebooks, but they might have been Moleskines, which are well-beloved by writers, and quite expensive. On the other hand, maybe another commenter was right, and the books have invisible ink (perhaps with details of their “sales”?. Judging from the Live Aid book, and era of Rock memorabilia, they’re a Gen Xer like me.
Some of those T-shirts are probably worth a fortune. Y’all need to research those. Great locker! Never heard of magic cards.😂. Hope you have some rare valuable ones!
Hi Jebus and Amber! I hope you didn't donate those Pink Floyd concert t-shirts . The guy was definitely a huge fan. He had all of The Wall memorabilia and it is highly valued. If you sold it all as a bundle you could probably get more for it. A small gold mine in that stuff alone. @23:30 when playing Magic there's some note taking involved, so that probably why there's so many note books 📚 Awesome unit! Definitely not what you'd expect going in. Jebus, here's my take on your observation about nerdy dealers... okie so he has a huge collection of magic cards and a really expensive collection of Pink Floyd concert memorabilia. My take is his expensive habits don't necessarily go up his nose.
When Amber was going through the tote with all the family pictures in it (~7:55) I saw at the bottom what appears to be the taffeta cover of a Catholic Baby Book. That's definitely personal family stuff. Be cool and give that back to the family, ok?
I'm sure someone has said it already, but there are definitely big money cards in newer sets... Also, that Serra's Sanctum you showed, if it's real and in good shape is worth $200 - $300...

WOW what a great unit. The Magic should make you guys some money. Justin Grimes has found and made good money on cards he has found. Wishing you all the best, you deserve it for all you do for kids. Much love guys.

When are you doing a live auction with those cards? I know a LOT of people who would be interested in them and would pay good money 🤑🤑🤑 for them! ALSO those Patches are the Color Symbols For Magic: The Gathering.
Old racing tees like the dale jr will sell very quick. Price will vary but you can find comps no problem. Racing is typically a quick 10-25 bucks. Bigger names with big graphics can def be more
This clearly belonged to a drug user. A safe with just a user manual locked inside. A tote with a container full of popsicle sticks. A lock box full of empty notebooks. Perishable food stored long term in a storage container. Magic the Gathering cards meticulously organized. Yep, it all checks out.
How many black lotuses still exist? Its Alpha and Beta versions in particular are considered to be extremely valuable, due to the more limited print runs and black borders of those sets. The Alpha version of Black Lotus is the rarest and most sought-after, with an estimated 1100 ever printed, followed by the Beta version, with 3300 ever printed.
Jebus, You have to chill a little, sometimes your like a bull in a China shop:) Vintage clothes are worth the time researching, that's lots of money! What's your hurry???? CHeers, Rik

WOW what a great unit. The Magic should make you guys some money. Justin Grimes has found and made good money on cards he has found. Wishing you all the best, you deserve it for all you do for kids. Much love guys.
Well done. That was awesome 👍🏻👍🏻. Magic cards I have no idea. But the early ones are great. Some you might need to grade. !
Keith Whitley ! That's who you said looked like Logan Paul . He's no longer with us . I know he's way before your time but , if you listen to country , you've probably heard him . 😁

My dad said that you are not old until you are 90 years old, you have a LONG way to go. Lov3 your video's.
To the right Collector, you could easily get at least 5-6 hundred dollars for all as a whole set
Bigger names with big graphics can def be more
The gray border on the cards signifies the unhinged mtg set
WOW! Tons of magic cards! Hope they have some value for you.....
This clearly belonged to a drug user. A safe with just a user manual locked inside. A tote with a container full of popsicle sticks. A lock box full of empty notebooks. Perishable food stored long term in a storage container. Magic the Gathering cards meticulously organized. Yep, it all checks out.
Poster goes with the jacket... Pink.Floyd😁
I am so jealous! I have always wanted to stumble on someones Magic collection like this! Good luck with finding a gem!
That little aluminum case looks like a poker chip case repurposed
Hey you two! Just bought my first 2 units! $10.00 each! 😂 Hubby said “ thanks guys” 🤣🤣🤷🏻♀️
Black Lotus is the most well-known card in Magic: The Gathering. It was first printed in 1993
God Bless this loving caring couple 🙏❤️
Wow that magic collection is the thing of dreams ...my dreams at least..
10:00 hey I see a Notre Dame pin
Amber: tell him it doesn't help to get our comments when. He flashes what the Poster and Jacket are selling for.

29:20 shows a tree at the bottom of the card that looks like the patch from time 16:13.
