That is plotting a route. He seemed to download something from a computer but what was it? What can I get from etrex that I cannot get from the OS (GPS) app on my mobile phone?
What program did you use to download the route & also store on the computer. I am going to be doing West Highland Way in October so this GPS seems ideal as starter unit for my trails. All Advice & guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou Savvas

+TheZombieKing Well from my entry point into the woods to my camp site. then if i use it to travel away from my site and get lost i can get back to my site and then a couple days later it can get me from my camping site to my starting point. me and my friends like to get lost and camp and we need an alternative to the campus.

Im looking for a gps that I can set a point in the woods, go get as lost as i can and use it to navigate back. Will the etrax 10 work for that?
