Isn't 600 CFM big for a 3.5 liter? In my opinion the most efficient carburetor is 390 cfm.

Hi, my videos are to show the conversions that I make.....form a Weber 2 barrel to a dual carb setup to a Holley 600 double pumper fed supercharged setup. The engine shown is just my testbed - it is modified with a Viper cam, Vitesse heads and High Compression and has always run really well with all of them. This manifold will also fit some of the larger capacity Rover V8 engines as well as the 3.5.
I have run a 600 on a 3.5 with no problems....as it has vacuum secondaries it only pulled on them when the engine could use it.

They're Junk Motors? You certainly don't know squatt about engines! These Rovers are modified olds 215 V8's! Bought from Gim Rover reinforced the Olds Block & Heads and modified the hell out of it! They are amazing powerplants with press-in sleeves, reinforced bottom ends and stroker cranks! they pt them in Jaguar's, BMW's you name it! and anyone who call these motors "Junk" has no clue as to what a really good motor even is!

@@kennyh5083 In the early-mid 1960's, our SCCA club in Charleston,WV had a 308 porsche with a built 215 Buick engine..It ran C MOD..along side the original lemans GT40 machines..The little Buick engine could not beat a GT 40 at VIR..but it worried the hell out of them..

@@kennyh5083 The 215 was a joint Buick/Oldsmobile design. The Rover version was much closer to the Buick design than the Oldsmobile one, using the same heads and block as the Buick. Even though GM sold the aluminum engine design to Rover, the subsequent small block iron Buick V8s manufactured by Buick through the 1980 model year in 300, 340, and 350 cubic inch displacements shared the same basic block, including the 4.24" bore spacing, as the Buick 215 V8. The Buick V6 also shared the same basic design, just minus two cylinders.
