- If you're wondering how to fill out the e-ticket for the Dominican Republic, then this video might be of great help to you. The dominican authorities recently changed a few things in the questionnaire, and because of this, we decided to make a new tutorial on how to fill out the new e-ticket.
If you're visiting Punta Cana or any other dominican city, then you must fill out this form in order to enter the country.

Guys & Gals - I recommend downloading the PDF and printing that, as well as printing the screenshot directly from the website. Emailing it didn’t work at all for me, and there were a couple other glitches. One print shows my departure date as the same as my arrival date while the other is correct, and another print dropped my companion’s last name off when the other one didn’t. If you print both the PDF and the screen, hopefully the correct info will be there between both of them.

Yes! I did it today. The email didn't work. Thank God I downloaded it. Yes there were glitches. I had to do it 3 times. Should officially websites be glitching so much??

Hi! Thanks for the useful video, a quick question. In case we are not travelling by direct flight, but with two transfers (one in Europe and one in Canada), do I only need to fill the details for the last flight (with no stops), or with stops at the transfer locations? I tried this second option, but only allowed to add only one additional stop, and not two for all transfers. Thanks in advance.

So for the EMBARKATION port section do I use my first departure flight location ? or do I use location from the lay over since it’s technically the flight that’s actually taking me to DR.

thank you for the video, just did my E-ticket, just an update, there is no more option to add extra passengers, just for one main passenger. at least this was to me
Your instructions are great, but may be for a nonstop flight from JFK directly to PUJ. We are traveling from the USA and LEAVE out of Hartford (BDL), with one stop in Miami (MIA), then that flight will land in Dominican Republic (PUJ). In the Embarkation field for the eticket, do we use the airport that we started our trip with (BDL) or the airport (MIA) just before leaving the USA? **Same question for our RETURN: I know we use (PUJ) for the Embarkation field, but for the Disembarkation field, not sure if we use our first stop that lands in the USA at (MIA) or our final destination at (BDL)
Hi! I’m currently trying to figure out the same exact thing flying out of BDL with a stop in Charlotte and then PUJ, just curious what you ended up putting /what worked!
@@austincarroll9216 We used Miami (MIA) because it was the flight that left the USA and landed in PUJ. So MIA was used for both arrival to PUJ and when departing PUJ back to MIA. You would use Charlotte for both since that is the airport that will leave the USA and land in PUJ. We completed the e-ticket for the date we started the vacation and also did the departure date just to get it completed all at one time. The screen kept showing the wrong date for our return home (It showed our start of vacation date in both). The fix was to click the button to email the E-Ticket to yourself, then print it. The printed version had all the correct information. ugggg.... That may not happen to you. Good luck... it will all work out.
What do you do for charter flights that don’t have an airline record
Hello, quick question. If I’m arriving a Thursday. And flying back the following Monday. On the E ticket would I count Monday the day I’m leaving, in the count of how many days I’m staying? So 5 days or would I only count the full days I’m staying? So, Thursday-Sunday 4 days? That part confused me.

Mi duda es esta: estoy saliendo de República Dominicana, pero hago escala en Panamá.. pero al llenar el E-tiket no me da la opción de poner la escala.. solo me da la opción de" Puerto de embarque y Puerto de desembarque", entiendo que está así talvez porque sea E-tiket de salida
Pero mi duda es : en ese caso solo debo poner Puerto de Embarque y colocar el lugar de la escala como Puerto de Desembarque? Ya que no me da la opción como Puerto de Origen, apenas Puerto de Embarque y Puerto de Desembarque

Great video. Thank you. I found it because we are supposed to depart for PUJ on 1/23/24. But, as of today (1/3/24) I am unable to progress to Step 2 after entering my and my wife's information. Will try on another browser and if that doesn't work, I'll try again in a few days.
I had to download Microsoft Edge to get it to work. Google Chrome nor Safari worked for me.
I filled mine out today, 2/20 and it also asked me if we would be participating in scuba diving, snorkeling or golf.... ??
Hello, This is same as a E-Visa ?
I’m assuming that if you’re not flying direct, whatever the flight that takes you in/out of the DR is the one they want recorded? Ex: I’m flying STL with 1 stop in Chicago to Punta Cana same day, so my second flight from Chicago to Punta Cana would be what should be recorded? (Similar situation going back)

I don’t know. From what I’ve been reading online you’d have to mark yes as it is an agricultural product. You may travel with it with no problem but you need to declare it.

I have a layover in Panama before going to D.R. , do I put the panamanian port name on the "Embarkation Port" session or the embarkation port from my country ???
Put the flight details of your flight from Panama as it is the one that brings you to DR 🙂

Does anybody here know if there are certian rules when bringing a ring into the Dominican Republic? I think that a ring can't be worth $10,000 or higher from what I have found. My main question is if anybody knows if a receipt would be needed.

im flying out of california but have a layover in panama, then flying out of panama to DR. i arrive to DR the same day. would i need to select that im making a stop in a different country?

Hi, I am trying to complete the form, although an error displays “An error occurred while processing your forms, try again” what do I do?

On the date of birth the "Day" option does not work, instead of a drop down of numbers it only shows "day". I tried on the cellphone, and computer. I tried using both Chrome and Firefox.
Did you find a workaround? Still doesn’t work
@Anim.videos.invits yeah use a pc with chrome and make sure to select the yeah and month first. If you set the day last the options appear!
Quick question : if I have 3 passengers traveling me ( total 4 including me ) and if 2 people are going to different state compared to the other 2 people. Do we need to make 2 separate e-ticket because the DISEMBAKATION PORT IS DIFFERENT ?

Hello, i will be travelling to DR with my family, would my kids need to fill out one of these forms. do they have to fill out anything or just myself and the wife
If you are traveling together you need to fill out ONE form that includes ALL members of your family.
For some reason there's no drop down menu for the "section" part when I'm filling out my Dominican address (Airbnb). I've tried different browsers and it just won't work. Frustrating that it's a required field but it's not searching or recognizing anything I type in that box. Could you post the link to the form? I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct one..

What is the process for extending a tourist visa as a citizen of usa? Do you have a video on this??
Hola! You don't renew the tourist card (US citizens don't need a visa to enter the DR); however, if you spend more than 30 days in the country, you'll be charged a fee. We don't know how much it is, but the longer you stay the more they charge you. Hope this helps 🙂
I’m going to DR with 3 friends. Is the flight confirmation number the same thing as a booking number?
It should be. Usually it’s six digits (number and letters can be used)
so if i'm travelling in a group of 4, does only one of us have to fill it out the ticket, or should all 4 of us fill it out separately without stating that we are passengers of each other
If traveling together you only need one e-ticket. This means doing the airline check-in together. If you'll be arriving separately to the airport then it's best each person fill its own e-ticket.

Hi, I have a question. I am now about to leave Dom. Rep., so I wanted to fill out the exit e-Ticket (I'm flying from DR, Santo Domingo to Miami). However, I found out that the airline company (Eastern Airlines) I'm flying with is simply not included in the long list of airline companies I can choose from. Everytime I type 'Eastern Airlines', it only gives me China Eastern Airlines but that's not the one. Any idea? I really have no idea what to do, other than coming to the airport early and hoping to find someone who could help me.... Thank you so much in advance.
I would go in a bit earlier and ask the person in the airline counter what to do. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help!
@@NittyGrittyTravelers That's exactly my plan. I want to go to the airport really early and hopefully there will be someone competent to help me. I also found an indirect hint that they could maybe have this e-ticket in a paper form that I could fill in with a pen directly at the airport... I mean, they can't just let me NOT leave the DR because they forgot to include an airline in their list, can they.... Anyway, thank you for your quick response.
It keep asking me for information for passenger 3 and its only 2 of us. It won't let me delete the place for passenger 3
What if you have 4 flights I have to take clt to atl to mia to sti . Do I you just put Mia to sti?

what about websites that look official but ask for a credit card at the end to process, i believe it's the 3rd website down from your search
Hola! Those websites are a scam, please only fill out the e-ticket in the official government website which is: eticket.migracion.gob.do/
If me and my friend are travelling from 2 different airport. Do I need to add him to my immigration form?
You need to fill the form separately. One for each of you :)
This was an issue because my grandfather doesn’t have a cellphone. When he leaves DR he can’t because he doesn’t know how to use or phone and he shouldn’t need one to do this.
Hola! Thanks for sharing with the community it helps a lot =) Last time we traveled outside the DR we printed out our e-ticket after filling it out in case we didn't have our phone working. Since filling out the e-ticket is mandatory and he doesn't have a cellphone, this might be a solution for your grandfather =)
Hello! Heading to punta cana this weekend and filled out my e-ticket for my wife and I but we both have middle names and there is not a place on the website application to enter a middle name, does it matter if our middle names are not on the application?
I would modify it and include your middle name in the name field as well so it states your name as it is in the passport

As long as you're traveling together (same flight) you only need to fill out one form for the two of you. (With both your details)

Depending on the size of your party you can all fit into one e-ticket 🙂

Hi. I have 2 questions: 1) I have layover flights; therefore, two different flight number, do I put the first flight number or the second one? 2) My flight is overnight (ex. leaving on 8/10/23 and arriving at PUN on 8/11/23), do I put 8/10 or 8/11? Thank you!
As your flight number put the flight that comes into DR and also for the date, put down the date you arrive at DR

Trying this today and the option for choosing trip dates and birth dates doesn't let us select a date. We can select the year and the month but the "day" menu doesn't show any days it just says Day and doesn't allow you to type in a number. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi. I filled out the first part (main passenger's info) but whenever I try to click submit, it keeps giving me an error message saying "AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE SENDING THE FORM, PLEASE FILL OUT ALL REQUIRED FIELDS".
But i filled out everything. I've been trying for the last 5 days and nothing is working. Help please 😢
The only advice I can give is to try on a different browser (i.e. Edge, Chrome, Safari) or a different device altogether. Good luck! :)
I entered my city, South Haven, however that city would not come up with my state. Anyone have this issue?

Guys Im traveling to Punta Cana in March. As a tourist for 5 days. Im a green card holder with a Philippines passport. Is that all I need to travel? That seems to be the case but I just want reassurance that I have all I need and not be turned away when I try to fly there in March 😭 thank you for any help
Hola! Philipines citizens need visa to enter the Dominican Republic, however, according to the Dominican government if you are a legal resident in the US, UK, European Union then the tourist visa is not required 😊 here is the source: www.godominicanrepublic.com/travel/entry-requirements/
my second passenger last name doesnt show on the e-ticket QR code page...is this normal? It shows the passport number, so I dont think this would cause any issue
I’m also having the same problem! But since it’s happening to you too I think it might just be a normal thing. As long as the passport number is there I think it’s enough proof!
Same thing happened to me when I downloaded the pdf. I printed it directly from the website as well so her name would be on something. I recommend doing that. Mine also printed with the departure date being the same as the arrival date. 🤦🏻♀️
Filled out the eticket but the departure date is wrong even though i selected the correct departure day,now there;s no way to modify it,tried making a new eticket and it does the exact same thing with the incorrect departure day,,,,,,what cn i do?
I would make an eticket just for entry and the departure eticket once you’re here
Same thing happened to me. When I printed the pdf, it shows the departure date as my arrival date. It also dropped my companion’s last name off the printed form. I printed the screen directly from the website as well so her last name would show up on that.

Select a nearby city to yours; there's nothing to worry about 🙂

From my understanding, your e-ticket is sent digitally so when your passport is scanned, the information from your e-ticket is already there.
Which province do you put for Punta Cana ?

Same. When I printed the forms, my departure date shows my arrival date. Also my mom’s last name dropped off the downloaded pdf, even though it’s right there on my screen. I think the formatting for the fields on this site are wonky. Also, nothing happens when I click to email it!

They scan our ticket in America. Then when we left I asked if we need it, they told us no we didn’t need it. 🤷🏾♀️

Is the e-ticket emailed to you when it’s completed ?
You have to click on the “send by email” buttton on the last page with the QR code. You can also download it.
How far in advance can I fill out the eticket? My trip is in August… should I wait until then? Thanks in advance!
Hola! According to the dominican migration dept. is 72 hours prior, but we’ve tried with months in advance and had let us fill the eticket 🙂

A tip for American Citizens… tell your bank or Credit Union before hand that you are traveling to the D. R. My card would not accept payment for our E Ticket to leave! It was a major hassle for us and I want you to learn from our experience! Please get the temporary approval before you go! Aside from this, my wife and I had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to coming back!

@@Jeanne7774 No, you don’t! I got taken by a website for my first time in the D.R. Lesson learned and learn from my mistake. The E Ticket is free! Make copies for entry and departure before you go. My wife and I are heading back in December and we can’t wait! One less thing to worry about on our trip to paradise!

You gave the wrong info regarding what Embarkation and Disembarkation mean. Firstly, Origin Port is where your flight started, e.g. Toronto, Ontario. Embarkation is the airport if you have a stop over, in our case Newark NJ. Disembarkation port is the airport in the Dominican where you arrive. I got this information from a document describing all the fields on the form.
Can you explain this some more please? I’m leaving Atl and have a layover in Orlando then fly to Punta Cana so my embarkation would be Orlando? And Disembarkation is Punta Cana… right?
There is no field in the form for origin port. Only embarkation & disembarkation.
