    I absolutely love your clear explanations and the way you go over everything step by step! This was super helpful. Love the grain in my images right now.

    I’ve been doing this with overlay blend mode, It’s never quite looked right and now I know why. I’ll be experimenting with these two new blend modes. I saved my noise layer as an asset with a very slight blur to soften the edges a little, I’ll be trying out the scale trick to see if I get a better result . Thanks for the new ideas 😄

    You made my day. That was exactly the solution I was looking for since a long time, because of the fine grain problem with the regular layer. Many thanks

    Thank you so much! Affinity is the best and this video is a game changer for me as a newer user who has really been getting into the program for both design and photo editing

    Great Video Olivio! Is it possible to do a video over Half-tones - like those done in Newspapers and Comic books? Mainly, on how to create them and how to apply them in various styles and images. Thank you, I appreciate it!

    hello Olivio, it would also be great to see a tutorial on matching a CG (computer generated plate) to a photo back plate, regarding Noise , lighting and colors. Thank you !

    When I create a noise live filter from the blue rectangle layer I get a noise child level from the rectangle layer, not a separate layer !
    What have I done wrong ?

    Your channel is great, I came here for AI but I use Affinity as well, so this is pure gold for me. Your way to explain is very nice and easy to follow!

    As a newbie, it would of been nice to know why I would want to add noise to certain photos.

    • @OlivioSarikas
      @OlivioSarikas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, i thought that too the day after i posted it. bascially only two reasons: because you like how it looks or because you want to combine a image with less noise with a minage with more noise

      Some people love the retro appeal/look from 35mm film days (especially in b&w photos) where noise was seen in photos, particularly when faster film was used. In the right images it can add so much atmosphere. I for one love it :)
