    I really like the use of the drone. This is helpful for us tourists, but also for the towing company to review and learn. Also the insurance company might also benefit their investigation. Very cool work guys!

Jealousy and Hate will never allow us to be great friends and neighbors, we can all learn something here from two companies working together without any animosity or bad blood. Nope, it would be useless anyway because of how loud they are. You enable the setting from the DJI app to use your phone for the audio. It will cache along with the video to your phone. From there, I split the audio from the video cache and overlay it to the video that's stored on the memory card of the drone.

    I pull containers. The forwarder will tell you it's a 40000 lb load. Then you cross a scale and the actual weight is 46000 lbs + was the driver too fast for conditions. Weigh the sealed box subtract the known tare weight of the box trailer/chassis and truck. I bet the forwarder lighted the bills. Or load shift. I've seen that as well.

    nice job, now im not a tower, but i watch all the tow vids i can find, i am wondering WHY? w 2 rotators with 4 boom winches why you seperate the tractor & trailor from the container when i see many other vids where they use the either or use 1 set of winches to lift and the other to catch to upright the whole truck trailor and container as one, then seperate the tractor from the trailor back another tractor under it move the trailor off the roadway to clean up & restore traffic and then finish the unload of trailor. can someone explain please cause i see this more w tow op`s in cali then anywhere else.

    • @PepesTowingService
      @PepesTowingService  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not sure if you saw the entire video, but how would that be any faster? That would probably take longer. The load was unstable, and their trucks were positioned far from the container. Could the 1075 uprighted the container at that distance? I'm sure it could, but why would you do that when the locks broke off and risk the load shifting? When you are working a very difficult call like this, your main priority is safety, not clearing traffic on a freeway that already has shitty traffic (the 405). That onramp it was on is already on a curve, what would have happened if they tried to save five minutes, upright it from where it was, then the load shifts and it goes over again the opposite way? We both have done hundreds of rollovers where everything gets uprighted at once, for this job they made the smart call to split it. Every job is different, you can't look at this one and say "I'm not a tower but....".

      @@PepesTowingService thanks for the reply, i saw all the vid that was posted, you answered my question on this call, i understand each call out is different and cant be compared to the last or next call. and safety is #1,and every tower do things their own way with hopefully the same results, i am not a tower, never have, i just noticed a small trend and i asked a question to help me understand better. your vids dont really explain the condition of the wreck, yeah i see it rolled but there is alot unknown to the viewer because your vids dont really show you pulling up on seen and doing a walk around or yous conversing as to the manner or how your going to clear the wreck. as a veiwer, is it wrong for me to ask if it is possible in future vids to be more informative to your views/followers as to why you clear a wreck in a certain way so we understand better what were watching, Not all your viewers work in the tow business. and the camera is the behind the scene look of how & what towers do.

To stabilize container from pivoting the other way; While 2 axle steer was positioning container after low boy backed under it. Also why (double steer) didn't boom out another ft and rotate a little more? I know it was a heavy trlr, but...lol. Otherwise, great recovery! I'm sure there are a lot of ways it could have been done, but Van Lingen did it quick and easy. The container wouldn't be able to pivot that way, and there was no way it would pivot the opposite way.

    This is a stupidity at its best to lay it down on its side a true professional would have stood it up Wright I would not have put this on utube the job was not well done ,the freight n the container could get damaged due to way it was left on its side 😭😭😢😲 the wrecker company should be lieable.

      One of the rails I run out of picked up a box they were putting it on the train the loaded box weight broke the pins on the lift box fell about ten ft. It had 56000 lbs of logs in it. + The weight of the box.
