Part of realizing I'm bi was being worried other girls would think I was flirting or had a crush on them besides them not having a reason to think I was anything but straight. I'm also catholic, I found it really difficult to figure it out. I’m questioning myself but my biggest concern is that I’m faking it. I only started questioning after I joined a friend group mainly made up of LGBTQIA+ community members. Granted, I had never thought about relationships before that but the questioning only began after I surrounded myself with people within the community. The main issue is my irrational fear of faking it, it’s been holding me off on figuring out what I am for over a year. Omg, I can relate to what you said so much, my friend was and is obsessed with LGBTQ+, and more friends too, before I was even friends with them I was questioning my sexuality. Something that kind of helped me figure out my sexuality was my friend made this slideshow just about a lot of the sexualities and that's when I started really questioning it. I'm so confused right now. I'm a girl who has identified as straight up till now since I know I liked boys. But I've realized that I've had some experiences with girls before where I didn't know if I liked them or just really wanted to be friends with them. For example, in 3rd grade before I even knew about LGBTQ+ people, I thought a girl was so pretty that I wanted to be her friend really bad. Then, in 8th grade I had that experience with another girl again. The thing is, I've never really thought about kissing or dating these girls. But it is very similar to how I've felt with some of the guys I've had crushes on in the past since I got really nervous around them, always wanted to hang out with them, and fantasized about talking to them and spending time with them. Sounds like you could be a heteroromantic bisexual, (like me), because with the girls I've had a crush on, I never fantasized about them romantically like I did with my guy crushes, but I still knew I had a crush on these girls, it just wasn't intense like my guy crushes

I think the reason I didn't find out my sexuality till a month ago was because I though it would be a sin or I thought I would go to hell for it and it didn't help that my family are not the biggest fan of LGBTQ+. I've thought I was straight my whole life and I've realized recently, that the reaosn I didn't find this out earlier was because I felt pressured to be straight because all my family is. Btw I'm Pansexual (foind this out 1 week ago, I've been flip flopping between sexualities but I think this one actually does suit me),I had my first crush on a girl when I was like 5? I get really worried that my friends that are girls will think I have a crush on them so whenever I say that I love them I always have to put platonically at the end, lmao. With that being said, without my friends I wouldn't have found out my sexuality and I'm so thankful for that. My one friend was the one who reassured me before I found out my sexuality that God will love me no matter what, that he will love me no matter what my sexuality is/who I'm attracted to, in this case it's everyone. I feel like that's what pushed me to think about it more and finally realize what my sexuality was.

I’m questioning myself but my biggest concern is that I’m faking it. I only started questioning after I joined a friend group mainly made up of LGBTQIA+ community members. Granted, I had never thought about relationships before that but the questioning only began after I surrounded myself with people within the community. The main issue is my irrational fear of faking it, it’s been holding me off on figuring out what I am for over a year.
For example, am I actually questioning or am I subconsciously trying to “match” with other people I know? I did relate to most things in the video and I have even narrowed down my questioning possibilities but is that enough to prove what I am to myself? What I am questioning myself about is being Pansexual and or Demisexual. (I had a dream about questioning my sexuality as well, somewhat strange since I never remember dreams.).

Omg, I can relate to what you said so much, my friend was and is obsessed with LGBTQ+, and more friends too, before I was even friends with them I was questioning my sexuality. Something that kind of helped me figure out my sexuality was my friend made this slideshow just about a lot of the sexualities and that's when I started really questioning it. But that's still my number 1 fear, that I'm just faking it to be like them, I think I'm Pansexual, but still not sure if I'm fr or not, even though I feel like the label Pansexual fits me.

I'm so confused right now. I'm a girl who has identified as straight up till now since I know I liked boys. But I've realized that I've had some experiences with girls before where I didn't know if I liked them or just really wanted to be friends with them. For example, in 3rd grade before I even knew about LGBTQ+ people, I thought a girl was so pretty that I wanted to be her friend really bad. In 6th grade, I always wanted to hang out with this other girl and I even got scared that I liked girls. I was worried my dad wouldn't accept me and didn't want to like girls. In 7th grade, there was another girl who I always wanted to hang out with and I got really excited whenever she would talk to me. I was also really nervous around her. Then, in 8th grade I had that experience with another girl again. The thing is, I've never really thought about kissing or dating these girls. But it is very similar to how I've felt with some of the guys I've had crushes on in the past since I got really nervous around them, always wanted to hang out with them, and fantasized about talking to them and spending time with them. I'm just so confused and don't know if I'm straight or bi.

Sounds like you could be a heteroromantic bisexual, (like me), because with the girls I've had a crush on, I never fantasized about them romantically like I did with my guy crushes, but I still knew I had a crush on these girls, it just wasn't intense like my guy crushes
