      Mindset. Train what you can, and don't worry about what you can't. When you go back to it, ease back into it. Don't let yourself get down or demotivated

    • @nicokorkiamaki2991
      @nicokorkiamaki2991 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just trust yourself and the process. You have put in the work already and I assume that your training has been going according to the plan. Now it's just time to execute and give it your all. There will always be a second chance and even if you happen to fail you will learn something and training very rarely goes to waste.

    What happens if you burn out by the time you get to your 1 rep PR? How do you best decide how much of your working sets to do? Last time I tried to set a new PR I think I fried my CNS before I got to it because I couldnt even do my PR from 6months ago.

  • @jsd4544

    Different people have given me different advice on how to position the bar prior to deadlifting. Some say that while I'm standing it should be against my shins. When I grip it from this position, making my arms vertical prior to lifting requires sitting lower. Others say that while I'm standing it should be about mid-foot. When I grip it from that position, making arms vertical prior to the lift doesn't require sitting as low and seems to engage the lower back more. Is there a correct rule of thumb or is it just a matter of personal preference so long as the bar isn't out at your toes?

    • @fuckoff6431
      @fuckoff6431 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Place the bar straight down from your scapula because the most important thing is the feet, when you lift make sure your both front part and back part of your feet stay in tact ie stick to the ground.
      don't lift with just the front part of your lift, tilt your body back a little bit to make it easier, go watch hafthor and every time he lifts he does it.
      When you drop the weight down too make sure your both parts of your feet stay on ground. It's important.

    • @fuckoff6431
      @fuckoff6431 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hopr you get my point. And also use this technique at other exercise as you see fit, namely rear delt raise, when people do this they just bend over, your need to feel your back of the feet touching the ground , it's makes a huge different in how you bend and the way you feel when you bend like that.

    • @fuckoff6431
      @fuckoff6431 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Videotape your lifts, i didn't do that earlier, i did that three days ago when i was lifting my pb 100kg and the form was not horrible but the lift doesn't look good, i had no butt my lumber spine was bending a little when lifting and i wanted to grow my butt.

    • @fuckoff6431
      @fuckoff6431 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey this is just my personal experience, i hope this helped, make your own decision though cause injury is a bitch and if you don't think this is a good idea and don't wanna take my advice that's good too,don't. All im saying is do this at your own risk. I haven't seen see Any youtuber talking about this subject and good luck.
