Hi everyone, Steve here. Thanks for watching my "Photo To Color Dot Pattern" video where I show you how to easily turn a photo into a fun repeating pattern of color dots with Photoshop! You'll find a link to my complete written version and the PDF of this tutorial in the video description. Leave any comments, questions or suggestions below!
Really good tutorial. One of the best aspects is that it eliminates the "uhs" and "ahs" and "let me share my personality with you" aspects of so many tutorials and just calmly delivers just what one needs to know to use this effect. Thank you!
Man, can 8 just say I love your videos. I haven’t used Photoshop in like 10 years (since college) and your concise and totally comforting hand holding is exactly what I need. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
agreed, a lot of tutorials are just telling you what to do and what settings without helping you learn so you can apply those principles to other things
just an amazing video. thank you for being so detailed in your videos. its nice for someone to actually show you where and what to click! Ive subbed :D
A super-excellent tutorial. Cannot say thank you from the bottom of my heart-the tutorial was easy to follow clear and concise. The outline of the contrnts in the description was extremely helpful. description
Hi, is possible to divide the image by dots, where each dot is only one color? Trying to make a photo into dots and print it to fill it with color pins.
Hi, did (I think) exactly as demonstrated. Pretty straightforward, well explained. But when I fill the mask with the pattern I created (same size as the mosaic, 70) I get transparency between the dots. What did I miss?
What if instead of a black background for the circle I want to make it white. How do I achieve that? I've tried a few combinations but nothing seems to work. Please help!
