Yes, I love mine. I happened to get mine for 109. When I saw that price, I jumped on it and prayed for the best. It takes up very little space when the wings are down. 72x40 in mat fits perfectly. Definitely need 2 people for height adjustments. The goal is to get it in my clothing closet which is also my super messy craft space. Wish me luck; at least, my husband will be happier. It will be out of his office. 😂 Thanks for your review, I am happy I am not the only one who finds it worth the purchase.
The link for the table in the video is for a 58.75" table. You mention a 72" mat fitting it so I wonder if you found a larger table than the one featured in the video???
I first saw a cutting table similar to those at a fabric store selling for $500. One day I found one in a Good Will store priced at $25 because two wheels were broke. I took it home and fixed the wheel with wood glue. That was 26yrs ago. Mine is simple, light weight. The height is perfect for me. Can't adjust it. I still think of it as my best thrift find. Other than the broke wheels, which was a simple fix, it's still in pristine condition. I use it too cut my patterns for sewing and also for all my embroidery work. It's made entirely of wood. Once you own one of these you'll wonder how you ever cut pattern before.
I just got this table and was looking for a review on the easiest way to raise and lower it. The consensus is find a height you like and stick with it I guess 😬 Thanks. Great review!
I have this table and it is SO wobbly. It moves with everything I do on it. Do you have any suggestions for keeping it stable? I wonder what I’m doing wrong!
Oh gosh. I'm sorry I really don't know. The casters do have a locking mechanism. Or maybe you can pinpoint a particular section that's unbalanced. I did find that over time, I needed to tighten up all the bolts/screws.
@@SewDIY I bought one similar and am trying to send it back because the support legs don't stand straight and it is also very wobbly. It is a Sullivan and paid much more for it. Are you experiencing any of that with your table?
I have just bought mine - I love the idea of it, and was so excited to buy it .... but .... it is so wobbly which is really disappointing - more so because it is a 'cutting' table. I have used it with one side open just for putting things on really, but last night I used it for the 1st time as a cutting table. I opened it fully and put my cutting mat on it, and started to cut out quilt squares. I did cut them accurately but it was very difficult due to the wobbly table. We are going to contact the place we bought it from because I would like to return it. The bolts and screws are securely in place. My advice would be don't buy one
Thanks for reviewing. I am waiting for mine to arrive today! I am glad to see your good review. Several of the Amazon reviews weren't great, but I took my chances anyway. Looking forward to using mine.
I bought this back in 2021...I love it, except the wheels...they're a little flimsy. I put bungee cords with hooks at the ends in the empty holes of the legs. And that made large thin items stay on the bottom shelf. I have my X-LG Stripology ruler, some cutting mats, a wool mat and my acrylic table extension stored there. Cutting is much easier on this compared to my low dining room table.
Thank you for the review. My mind was wondering if this table would be too flimsy. Your review has convinced me that this will worrk for me. I had professional cutting tables from a factory and couldn't bring them with me when we moved. I gave them away!

The table has a hard surface so you're not able to insert pins into the table. The table is pretty large so depending on the length of fabric, it won't hang over the edge and warp. In general, I recommend not letting the fabric hang over the edge of the table while cutting.
Hi! Thank you for this review, it has helped me make my mind up to purchase it! May I ask if you have seen the version with the grids on it?! I am so used to cutting patterns on my cardboard grid, I thought this would be a big help, also helpful when adjusting patterns. What are your thoughts? Thanks !
Hi Louise, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I haven't seen the version with the grid. I generally use rotary cutters instead of scissors so I use self-healing cutting mats on top of the table to protect the surface.
Hiii! do you mind telling us your height? I’ve been trying to find the right cutting table. I was reading that a good height for it to be is at your waist. My kitchen table is at my hips so it’s lower than the ideal height. However I believe it’s a 42 inch tall so I’m confused lol. Your table seems to be about your hips length (I know you said it could go a bit higher). I guess I’m just wondering your height and if you find yourself slouching at the height it is? Just trying to find a good table for back support. Thank youuuuuuu!
Hi Victoria, Not at all. I'm 5'11" and the table can go one notch higher. I find this height to be really comfortable for me. I think it's comparable to my kitchen counter height.
Yes. It is a little wobbly to be totally honest but it feels secure enough to sew on. I have put my big machine on top a few times when quilting a big quilt. It's easier on my back to stand while quilting for a long time, and it's worked fine. The wheels do have a lock position too.

Try some weights or small dumbells on the bottom shelf. The extra weight might hold it in place.

Marygayle Browning that’s great!
@@mgbrowning sturdy?
@@helenb9077, yes, meaning it is well built and strong, not wobbly.

Did you purchase a cutting mat for your table ?
Great review...thank you! This would be great for my space!
I'm glad it was helpful. :)

I bought a similar one at Joane fabric. I wish someone showed a video how to assemble one.
How is the stability of this table once it's assembled and has been used over a period of time? Thanks.

Hello is it easy to pin down fabric on this table to avoid skewing?

is the table sturdy unlike the sullivans model
It's not a super sturdy table. A regular desk or table that's not on wheels is much sturdier. I'm not familiar with the Sullivans model though.

Is it wobbly?
A little. It's definitely not as stable as a conventional table.
Ikea has a similar model
How much?
What I see at Ikea is not collapsible and more expensive - $199. Is there a different version that I'm not seeing?
Can you sew on it as well?
Yes. It is a little wobbly to be totally honest but it feels secure enough to sew on. I have put my big machine on top a few times when quilting a big quilt. It's easier on my back to stand while quilting for a long time, and it's worked fine. The wheels do have a lock position too.
