    What he’s talking about is the feeling of pursuing excellence in something. Honestly it doesn’t even matter what it is. There’s nothing like setting goals and achieving them, no matter what they are.

    That childhood Matty is talking about is exactly what almost every Atlantic coast Maritimer kid's lower/middle class working family meals in the 70's and 80's. Overcooked veggies with "beige and unremarkable" meats 😂😂

      Haven’t watched this interview yet but his in Mythical Kitchen interview, Matty references Martin as an influence and the (American) interviewer seemed oblivious to who Picard is.
