The bonus stages were only on the US version of the PSP game, which is why I had no clue they existed before a week ago. Can someone also explain to me why Bonus Stage 1 looks 10x better than anything in The Two Thrones.
I don't know you notice this or not but did you know that Prince of Pesia forgotten Sands for the Wii is different than the X-Box 360,PS3 and PC versions I didn't notice that until maybe 5 or 6 months ago?

Yeah it looked it looks amazing. Probably because they ended up changing textures from the KB build to T2T in order to fit the SoT Style more but then it ended up looking a bit bland

@@kingdemon4236 Prince of Persia 3 was called Kindred Blades, you can find a lot information about it. Basically, devs said that the game was too "violant", like Warrior Within, and they decide to change it (when the game was almost complete). They change it A LOT because of that -.-
I actually saw a playtrough of this game recently and was very confused why these stages weren’t there (I was like 7 when I played the game and no longer know what happened to my copy). Turns out that they’re only available on the American version and since my father bought the game while at work in the US, I was probably the only one out of the kids that had the game, who also had these stages XD

In the pre-Wraith Mask timeline, she wanted him dead. :P Plus, I don't think the Forgotten Sands devs got the memo. Since that game kinda implied those Azad fountains were djinn magic.
Yeah it would make no sense for Kaileena to help the Prince through out SOT. As for TFS, its an different rule set, we know that different mythologies are in play in the POP universe. For example Kronus and Kali are confirmed in SOT which is Greek and Hindu mythology, then you have WW where we have Persian gods etc. So the djinns in TFS fit into the canon fine imo

@@LikeAGarudaThe river was buggy as hell but I liked it better than the stairs. I hated the stairs puzzle as I could never do it without a walkthrough. The extra garden with the blades & Griffin theme was fun though, as was the lava statue room. I need to play my copies again to Judy’s which I like most & which I hate. Such an odd way to do extra levels. They're not ONLY exclusive to Rival Swords (which came out on PSP and Wii) but ALSO exclusive to the PSP version but ALSO exclusive to the American PSP version. I mean, geez. Make them available in all Rival Swords releases.
I did like the dialogue in these stages. I think the lore behind Zurvan was really good and that Kileena was helping us even through our journey. The bonus stages arent bad I just wish they included them in the EU PSP and the Wii version of Rival Swords.

I really dunno what those things are called but you get em so easily in the Normal Game and it's weird. Doesn't feel like you did much. But here it does give you that feeling. And the Dialogue makes more sense for the first one. Edit: Also. One thing which I despise in this game is everytime you go to wall to wall there's this weird Sound effect. It gets on my nerves a lot. However they cut it out for the PS3 Remaster. So glad they did that. Not to mention the HUD glitching out was fixed too.
You actually have this bonus level ONLY in the US version of the PSP game. I had the UK version and never got to play these levels. Why make a game have less content in one platform and more in another is so bizarre. Well that’s Ubisoft for you.
Prince of Persia has an open world game, u can travel to many places, thousands of fighting combination/combo styles, ton of skills from the Dagger, costumes, cool parkour, unique boss fighting styles, and all u expected IS in the GAME... and then u woke up

I wish these were ported into the PC game as a mod. Same with the Warrior Within ones though several of the latter aren’t as good due to being awkward to navigate. But the Two Thrones ones are a must as they actually add to the story, such as explaining the Vizier isn’t actually Zurvan but taking that God’s power like Dr Dominguez does to Kukalkan in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, or Kaileena as the sands revealing she was the cause of the magic fountains in the first game, trying to help Dastan succeed in his quest despite causing chaos as the sands & unable to stop it.
i was amazed to see when i decided to play this game on ppsspp emulator after completing it more then 6 times on pc. and i was like bruhhh is this a mod or something bcz no one is talking about this. i played this version like 5-6 years ago i guess or even more
I got this game back in 2013 for PSP and I was very surprised about these bonus areas, since I haven't seen a single video about these bonus areas before. The interesting thing is, as I heard these bonus areas were included only in the US version of the game, but I'm european, and I still had these in my copy (probably we ordered from a site that dealed with the US version somehow). P.S. I was a little bit disappointed when I realized the Balcony, Upper City and Hanging Gardens sand portal bonus areas were only those SoT fountains, I've expected a little more challenge 😅
Good ol psp days I really enjoyed playing the extra scenes I just really wish that they added this on the ps2 and the remaster version on ps3. I feel like these extra scenes you get more of the prince and dark prince.

You cannot get this mission in two thrones It's only available in rival swords but If you don't get this in rival swords too because European version of this game has no bonus levels and sound in hd cutscences!

@@SHADOWOFAGAMER honestly, the original idea for the game was that you can change whenever you want but the ps2 had system memory issues. If they do remaster the game, i doubt they will add it in even though it would fix a lot of issues with t2t

IMO they all look extremely jank and the dialogue is terrible. I'm glad they never got put into the main ports. Also thank you for this video, now I don't have to torture myself with the downgraded PSP experience.

The Two Thrones levels have jank camera, visuals, audio and unintuitive pathing. It's better they were cut , given the state they're in.

Dude, these are awesome. Looks to me like the US version of Rival Swords is the definitive version of Two Thrones. Thank God PSPs are region free.

It only works on the USA version of Rival Swords (PSP). You automatically enter the portal, no extra buttons needed.

No. Rival Swords added a few levels but only on the us version. There are also some chariot races added as an extra feature
