She has such a wonderful instrument, but she has sung too many roles that are too heavy for her lyric instrument and it has affected her vibrato in the high notes. I just WISH she hadn't done this, she could have been the world's greatest operatic soprano after Renee Fleming retired. Ah well.

It is not a crime not to sing the final high D. There are too options written by the composer. Both are correct.
