    Hi Bobby & Bambi’s DIY i really Love to watch you chanel i tried this recipe Actually and i Follow ur your Instruction after all baked seems the biscuits too hard for my pups any recommendation?
    Thank you

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Evlin! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words! I’m sorry the biscuits were too hard. Here are a few suggestions..
      1. Oven internal temperature can vary. Are you using an oven thermometer by any chance? Sometimes the temp on the oven screes/dial can differ from the inside. If this is the case, the inside oven temp may be hotter or cooler that the set temperature. On a side note, 350 degrees is for convection setting. For conventional, 325 degrees works best.
      2, Try baking the biscuits for a shorter amount of time. Try 5 minutes less first. If the biscuits are still too hard, you can decrease the time.
      3. Was the dough dry? If so, please add 1 TBS of water while mixing unto the dough is nice and soft, but firm and not sticky. Hope this makes sense 😆
      Hope these tips help! Thank you so much for watching and for trying the recipe!!

      @@minyoungmoritaMy biscuits also came out too hard for my puppy. My dough was perfect & i only baked them for 20mins! Can't even cut through them with a knife 😕. I can't waste ingredients so soak them a bit in water before giving to my pup. Loves the taste but its too hard 🙈

    Do you use a dehydrator so they can last longer ? Either for you Business or just baking for your doggies? (:

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Trisha! Yes, definitely! You can use oat flour. You may need to do some experimenting with the rations since the flour swap might not be 1:1. Happy baking and thank you for watching!

    Hi, how long do these last? I want to start my own dog treat business, but have no idea how to set expiration dates. Please help

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi MinxxyWinxx!
      You can store biscuits in a container in a cool dry place.
      - softer biscuits are best stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
      - crunchy biscuits can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
      Please use the above as a guideline. Shelf life/expiration dates depends on your shelf life process and procedures. I share our dog bakery's shelf life process in my course, Dog Bakery Academy! Here's a link to learn more and to sign up for the mailing list for the next course launch: dogbakeryacademy.kartra.com/page/home
      Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    I'm started a dog treat business & I'm looking for treats that last long in storage! How long do these last? Do you have recipes that last a while?

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Malaya! Congrats on starting a dog treat business and thank you so much for watching! If you're planning on using this recipe for commercial use, the shelf life will depend on the moisture content in the biscuits. (Also, is using home vs commercial oven, humidity levels, etc.). We developed a shelf life process for our dog bakery and I teach how to extend the shelf life in my course, Dog Bakery Academy! (Next enrollment is January 2021) Again congrats on starting a dog bakery! It's the best business to be in! 🤗

    • @minyoungmorita

      Hi Ricky! I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this now! Hopefully the biscuits turned out well! The water is used with the flax/chia seeds to make a vegan egg. Since I haven't tried it myself, I'm unable to let you know if it will make a difference. Let me know how the biscuits turned out! Thank you so much for watching and for trying the recipe!

    Can I replace the apple sauce and honey with chicken?

    • @minyoungmorita

    Can I use coconut sugar rather than honey?

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Agnieszka! Great question and thanks for stopping by! I'm thinking since coconut sugar isn't a liquid, replacing it for honey wouldn't be a 1:1 ratio. The dough will be grainy and dry. I'm also not sure if coconut sugar would be good for dogs to have because it may cause gastrointestinal upset. I would check with your Vet to be 100% sure. Thanks so much for watching and happy baking!

      @minyoungmorita  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there! Thank you for your question. I bake might so they're really crunchy and store them in an air tight container or up to 2 weeks. That's if they last that long! 😄If the biscuits are on the softer side, you can store them in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, and happy baking! 🤗

    It looks like you use a flax&chia egg for your recipe, could this be made using actual eggs?

    • @minyoungmorita
      @minyoungmorita  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vanessa! Yes, you can substitute the chia/flax egg for free-range or pasture raised eggs. Since an egg has a lot more moisture than the chia/flax egg, you may need to experiment with the flour ratio by increasing the amount. Thanks for watching and for trying the recipe!
