Aww! This is incredible as your lil one reminds me of mine! I also had 🥲 a black & tan yorkie (2.5lbs) with only one eye (accident) & absolutely no teeth because we had to do a full extraction due to severe decay. A big chunk of my time went to cooking soft dog food but it was fun and rewarding. 😇 He passed over the rainbow bridge this past March after a good life of 14 yrs 🌈 They look so much alike, sigh thank you for posting ❤
I got a lump in my throat reading this! Marley’s eye just dried up and even though drops were helping (a tiny bit), she was hiding from me all day long to avoid getting them. There was no quality of life for her until that eye came out. And I can totally relate to cooking soft dog food!!! Thanks for commenting!
Happy birthday Marley! I have a Yorker, Daisy, and she has only a few teeth. She is a diabetic and went blind recently. But she can still smell and loves these treats. Thank you and God bless
Thank you so much! I'm no chef. Just make quick and easy "mom food" most of the time. And I stand by my commitment not to post any recipes I didn't like. I hope you will check out my channel.
That face you made when eating the treat. 😂For us humans we need more taste. But I totally get it. I have two small elderly dogs. No teeth. And I have been wanting to find a soft treat for them. I def gonna make these today. I love my fur babies. I love the face you made eating it. Made my whole day. ❤
Hahahaha! They weren't that bad, really! My Marley loves these. And they don't upset her super sensitive tummy. I hope they work out for your fur babies!! Thanks for commenting.
Happy belated birthday Marley!!❤I have a little 2lb chihuahua named Megan. She’s 14 and also doesn’t have any teeth. This sounds perfect! I’ll try this recipe. Thank you!! Keep up the good work! Loved the video!!…so I subscribed!😊
Thank you so much! Megan too! I recently posted another soft treat video that is baked in the oven. Contains banana, pumpkin, coconut flour. Marley is CRAZY about them!
This is will be awesome cant wait to make have been trying to find soft treats for my 15 yr old yorkshire Terrier as well that I just rescued 4 months ago that has no teeth, she will love them!!!
Just subscribed! Happy Birthday Marley she adorable 🐾🦴🎉🥳🎈Thank you for not posting something you would not eat. Like you I have wasted Ingredients and my time making something that doesn’t taste good. I appreciate your honesty sorry for the time you took to make that recipe to post that wasn’t good. But you got a new subscriber because I can trust what you post is good.
My Marley loves these treats. I also made a second video with a different variety, using turkey and sweet potato baby food. Here's the link to that if you are interested. Thanks for visiting! th-cam.com/video/U5_fnn5uLqg/w-d-xo.html
I can't see how that could hurt. My only concern would be that they might crumble when they thaw after freezing, but definitely still edible even if they do.
Someone else asked that. I'm sure you could freeze, but I feel like they may possibly crumble when thawed. Not the end of the world if that happens though.
@@lynnkrobbins2077 I have not tested with these two ingredients but I feel like a cooked sweet potato could substitute for the pumpkin, although the potato might be a little more dry than pumpkin purée. I’m not sure if almond butter is safe for dogs so you might want to research that first, but if it is on the safe list, I’m sure you could use that in place of peanut butter. Good luck!
Well, this is a year belated, but Happy Birthday, Miss Marley. I know that pumpkin is a great dewormer, but it may just be the seeds. Replacing some of the peanut butter with pumpkin seed butter makes these treats even more beneficial. I wonder if replacing all of the peanut butter would be too overwhelming for a dog?
Others have also pointed this out. I was very new at video making when I did this one. There's a learning curve. By the way, I have another soft dog treat video coming in the next few days so stay tuned. This one gets straight to the recipe.
Receipe starts at 2:05.

I'm definitely going to try it . First time I've ever seen this lady but I liked her honesty about making a video that has no purpose

Cute video. I'm going to try these for my mini doxie. Nice and easy and healthy.

That face you made is priceless😅. You could add softened banana for a little sweetness!
Thanks! I recently made some soft treats containing banana. Marley loved them!

so cute
Hi my dogs love these treats, but I was wondering can I freeze the leftover from the batch?
I can't see how that could hurt. My only concern would be that they might crumble when they thaw after freezing, but definitely still edible even if they do.
@@stacygordon-thatsmyjam that send about right it may break apart. I will miss make half a batch next time. Thank you
@@chrissierinaldi4134 if you do freeze any, please come back and let me know how they hold up.
Looks great, been looking for something very soft for my baby. Can you make a batch and freeze some of them?

Can I use sweet potato and almond butter instead?

Mary is so cute. I'm making these for my baby girl Puffer. But I'm adding turmeric and garlic.
Thank you! She's my baby! Good idea on the turmeric! Anti-inflammatory!

I think he or she will like them!
