Very informative. But I am wondering, in your diagram of the cut here and the subsequent one, BSP's ridge is pointy and NPT's ridge is rounded. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Hi Norb thanks for the question. All of our Male BSP connections are BSPT and all of our Female BSP connections are BSPP. Our BSP range is rated to 150PSI, so your application of 30PSI would be just fine! 😄

Can you put a male bspt fitting in a female bspp and would it seal ok? With teflon tape on a low pressure 30 psi application?
