BSP and BSPP are very often synonymous with each other. The key thing to watch for is the profile of the adapter. So long as both fittings in your hand have a parallel profile down the shaft of the adapter, they should mate without issue. If on the other hand your "BSP" fitting has a tapered profile, it is likely a BSPT thread and it will not create a seal. Hope that helps!
