It’s because you’re a hairstylist that you understand. For someone like me I’m not sure what she meant, for the fishtail is she only crossing over new sections or does she also take a section from a strand in her hand because I’ve been taught that way as well, but I want to know the way to achieve this look if that’s what she did. When she switched to a pull through was she useing the hair that was already in the braid? Im not asking you I’m just saying these were the questions I was left with because the video wasn’t clear, I love the look though, I’ve seen her do it in another video and it was the same thing.

Very nice hair style. However You continue to refer to this style as a fishtail when it is only a 3 strand segmented French braid. Style name aside - very lovely style and easy for most to accomplish. Thank you for sharing!
She is NOT good with explaining the steps, for a person not familiar with hair.. Of course another hair stylist will understand because all of you probably do this hairstyle "all the time".. But some people are good with explaining and some aren't.. She is one of the people that cant explain very well... And it sucks because i really want to succeed at this half up dutch fishtail braid... Its so beautiful!!
