- The holidays are coming up and today I'm excited to be partnering with Conair to share a quick Get Ready with Me style tutorial for a pretty holiday hairstyle!
I love styling my hair when it's clean so I'll be walking you through how I prep it first by blow drying my hair to add volume and smooth out my natural waves and frizz. Then I'll show you my easy curling technique for adding in some pretty holiday curls. Then finishing off the look with how I created these pretty fishtail braids! What teaser comb u use?
I can fishtail like a boss when my daughter's hair is in a ponytail, but trying to do this from dutch braid to fishtail is causing me more gray hairs. Haha. What is the trick? I've watched this video what feels like 100 times, and I think the trick is, to pull a small piece behind first, like a fail tail braid, and then add in the hair. I've been trying to do that all simultaneously, and then I end up with a dutch braid the whole length of her hair. Any tips from those who've mastered this? I'm determined to get this style for my daughter's 1st Communion in a few weeks. :) TIA
Take very thin strips of along the way if it you take thick pieces and it will turn into a Dutch braid

I tried this and I kept feeling like I was undoing the braid every time I’d take a piece and put it on the other side. Is it supposed to feel like that?
Fishtail braids are one of those braids that needs a few stitches before it starts to look like a braid. Make sure you are taking sections from the outside of each stand and adding it to the inside of the other stand. Try and keep some tension on the braid while it forms too, that will help the braid keep its structure at the beginning.

I have extremely curly hair so I can never pull my hair through braids to make these styles! Should I attempt them with wet hair? Any suggestions??
TheSchramazing Try blow drying your hair and then straightening it. It's kind of a lot of work but it'll work :)
TheSchramazing easy you just detangle your hair in the shower with conditioner get some more conditioner and rake it in in sections , now you will be able to do this hairstyle because your hair is tangle free
