Im obsessed with your hair tutorials. I have waist long blond hair that i normally do as little as poss with. Updos just to get rid of the annoying bulk of hair. Maybe i need to rethink it and start enjoying my hair.
I was worried it wouldn't look as good without the extensions, but the fishtail flattens out well enough to make it look as big and showy as the photos even without added hair. I hate taking down pull-through braids, but I would have to say it was worth it to get surprisingly similar results that you did!

Little hack I use. Instead of using rubber bands, I use thin hair ties, they work just as well and don't pull your hair. To add a pop of color I used colored ties :)
It is soooo awesome. I wish I had longer hair. My hair falls about shoulder length. I'm going to have to grow them longer. But I have a question for you. I notice that you colored your hair bleach blonde and that makes the braids more distinct looking. I have mine bleached too but my hair turned out dried and fried from the bleach. Can you tell me how to care for your nice and relaxed hair? Thank you so much for that tutorial. I love it

Your hair is so pretty I can't wait until my hair grows out long enough so I can do this I absolutely love braiding and trying new braids, for my type of hair i really can't live without it. Also is there a faster way for my hair to grow out faster?
Ahhh! So happy you found my channel! I feel like growing out my hair took me forever, but when I took a break from using heat on my hair I noticed the greatest amount of growth. :)

I don't know what you're talking about, what do you mean?I saw many comments saying that braids aren't noticeable in black hair and I was perplexed.I was thinking that's not true they are! I had a braid and my hair is black like super- duper black so I asked my mom "Mom can you see the braid or not?My hair is jet-black so are you able to see it?" She looked at me like I just asked a really dumb question and from a good ditance awy from me like 7 or 8 feet(probably more)replied "Yes, I can see it, I'm not blind people aren't blind, they can see it.No it doesn't matter if your hair is black people can see it.What are tou talking about?"Then I went over to the mirtor to confirm what she was saying was true myself and yes she's right you can see it.So what are you talking about?You should be happy with your hair color and even if it's "not noticeable" you should still braid your hair if that's what you enjoy.
I dont agree. I did a French pony on myself (im blond) and my coworker liked it so i made same on her dark hair. Was much nicer on her as she is younger and prettier...🤷♀️

It didn't work for my hair. When I put the pancaked fishtail braids together around the crown, it didn't look like fishtail braids, just a knotted mess. I followed everything she said in the video up to that point, but whenever I try any out-of-the normal hairstyle from TH-cam in general, it doesn't look the way it does in the video. My hair is really long, very thick and heavy, and straight to the point it looks like I use a straightening iron, and my hair can get really messy when I try to braid it or put it in a ponytail. What exactly should I do to be able to do more advanced braids and hairstyles than just side dutch-braids, normal dutch-braids, and fish-tails?

Alex Gaboury a good way to get the elastics out is using one of those seam rippers, less chance of accidentally cutting your hair😋

Putting hair oil in before braids help make my braids more noticeable:) I have super dark hair
