I don't understand how TH-camrs just casually do their hair and it looks so great. I spend hours trying to make each stich of my braids perfect and it still comes out looking like I just woke up with my hair stuck to my head.
Listen, I don't have beautiful hair either, but I can guarantee you that you can make it beautiful by pulling something like this off. I've recently begun to experiment with my long hair, definitely can recommend if you're interested.
step 1 have some do it for you. you can't do it yourself unless you have a special talent or are a professional. these vids are just for something pretty to look at. many in to comments say its not easy, like all the videos claim they are.
I just casually stumbled upon one of your videos and I have to say you are such a beautiful person and we need more people like you. I hope your life is filled with as much kindness that you put out into the world.
@@livyparry I've been to California before it's a very beautiful place to stay....I’m originally from Norway but live in Texas. I’m currently in Gulf of Mexico working on an oil rig platform.... have you been to Texas before?
I’m a professional server and always looking for classy, yet stylish looks and I just watched this- the biggest thing o learned is the use of hair extensions! What a great idea! Your beautiful and fun to watch- thanks!!!!
Absolutely girrrerl you keep right on rocking and I'll keep right on poppin. You are a saint. I am a stay at home father of 4 girls, and you helped me to learn how to braid.
Love these easy to follow tutorials. People always comment on my braids and how I learned to do them so I always tell them about Abby and her channel. You rock! Thanks for teaching me and millions more.

I would give the book to myself because you have the skills in your book to instruct me how to fix these pretty hairstyles. I am 70 years old & my hair has grown out making it possible not to have to blow dry it. I am sad to say my problem is I don’t have the skills to create your beautiful hairstyles & feel your book would put me on the road to success. Your videos are wonderful & the book would be nice to have close by for quick reference when styling my hair. Not only do younger women need your instructions, older women do too. Thank you so much😊
@Emily Smith I can empathize with you - I am almost 60 and have had arthritis since 19 and always fighting a losing battle with my hair, lol... I saw a hair hack video here on TH-cam that showed a woman with hair about the length of Abby's (although it was a bit thicker; not sure if that matters), and she combed it forward towards her face, then divided the hair from the inside, at the face, into two sections, about two fingers in thickness, and put a small elastic band around around them a few inches under her chin (sort of looked like a goat when it was done, if that makes any sense. So, kind of like a LONG goatee that doesn't reach up to her chin). She repeated that 3 more times, and then flipped it over her head, and then when she showed the back, she had the inverted (small) ponytails. You could probably give them another flip once they are in the back for added twist, plus pull the twist out like Abby shows. I obviously don't know you and don't mean to presume, but you sound like you are interested in these styles, so I'll bet you can do some of these tricks, one way or another! Good luck, and try not to get discouraged. That's my biggest problem - I get frustrated and give up too easily. When people learn a new skill, they realistically don't nail it on the first or second attempt. Why should I be any different, right?? Lots of patience is required... and a really good cheesecake ;)
I love all of these! I’m a nurse practitioner and I always wear my hair up at work, I mostly just do a bun or twist my bangs and do a ponytail, these will change it up for sure!
I loved the first one you did. I have really thick hair so its hard to keep it down or have it up. I have started to get tired of normal ponytails. So thanks for some new ways to put my hair up!
Dianilu CK mine is too, especially for the clear elastics. What I do is use a regular hair tie (colour matched to my hair) and then if I'm braiding it I'll finish it off with a clear elastic.
I use the soft hair ties stretchy doesn't pull your hair and there are small thinner ones for thick short hair medium one and normal size for ponytails. I have bought them on shopmissa.com only for $1 I only use the black.elastics at the end of a braid and 2 in case one pops lol
Thank u for these vids I love them all but number 4 is my most favorite, thank you for your help and teaching me new things I always had my hair up in a boring plain bun or ponytail but nowadays they're are so many different new things if u can do them, u never have to wear the same hairdo ever!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!!
Thank you so much Abby! I tried the first hairstyle and went to school. I usually tie ponytails to school. Then my classmates were amazed by my new hairstyle! Thank you!
This video is awesome. I've been looking for a way to add a little more femme to my blazee reg ponytails when I'm at work. I can't wait to try these out!
These are all beautiful. You make it look so easy...I might be able to do a couple of the really simple ones....no braiding...I think I could handle the Topsy tail one. Simple, yet beautiful!💕
You have 4 children and your 30 something but you are lovely and explanation of your hairstyles are easy enough when I put you on slow motion, my grandchildren always want their hair done different every day huh bless me and bless you more🙏🏽
I just found your channel last week and subscribed immediately!! Love how beautiful, but uncomplicated the styles are~and your demo and verbal instructions make them so easy to recreate 😍
I love this video so so much, somehow it gives me this kinda wholesome feeling. You're so jolly and that energy spreads even to me! Personally, I love the 1st style the best, I made it last week and it's definitely my go-to hairstyle. It took me about 7 minutes to make it (in contrast to many other hairstyles - they usually take half an hour for me to complete) but my friends thought it took me forever since it SEEMS sophisticated! Thank you so much, Abby! Oh, I'd braid the rest of my hair in the first hairstyle, just to make it a bit more fancy :)
PDM pop I always put my hair in a ponytail when I’m at school but not always at home, so maybe she just doesn’t want to wear one at home. Or maybe the pic was taken on a special day

**when you can't even put your hair in a ponytail ._.** OMG I can relate so much. The only reason of why I don't use elastics is it RIPS my hair out not even kidding so I'm left with the normal elastics.
AhhH! I love ponytail #2 soooO much! And please make a video on how to use bobby pins, I don't kniow if it's because my hair is so thick or I have low quality pins, but I would love a video on how to use them! Love you!

Hey how are you doing?
im in a transition period where im letting my hair grow back again so these are wonderful, I love them all.
Question(s);
1) is there another product i could use other than those little alastic bands? I fing that they pull my hear really bad.
2) what's the best bobbypins to use? I have the standard small pins and find that they slip away from the original placement.
Thanks
Try using the thin ponytails/hair ties rather than elastic bands. They have the same effect but are easier to use and they don't pull out hair.
The hairstyle how actually really easy!I am going to try the second one thanks for sharing:)
What is your favorite clear elastic? and I would love to see a tips and tricks for bobbie pins!
Thanks for the new ponytail ideas! I have long hair and get bored of plain ponies and buns.
