@@parzingtheasian I suppose it’s depending on your shot spread, but these targets are fairly small and it takes a split second for the gun to shoot from when you pull the trigger, even if it’s very small
@@parzingtheasian rifle rounds and target loads out of a shotgun move at very different speeds, the birdshot (tiny lead pellets) exits the muzzle ~2.5 times slower and decelerate very fast due to low mass, combine this with a fast flying clay and you have to aim in front of the clay in order for your shot to intersect it at the right point. Hope this explains it, it’s a very fun activity would recommend to anyone to try

I’ve shot a perfect score on a sporting clays course which is what is being done in this video. It’s such a fun sport and I would highly recommend people do it when they have a chance to! :)

You guys are having a blast and that is all that matters. My first time shooting my 12 gauge, my buddies took me out to shoot some hand thrown clays and I will say I was better than I expected. Took me 2 shots to get used to it and I was spot on every shot after until upping from birdshot to buck shot to make it harder to hit the clays and I was still hitting them or at least clipping them. We changed to slugs and besides almost throwing my shoulder out I was terrible with slugs. Looks cool sparking on rocks though when it gets to sunset.

I like when creators make gun content, it shows people who have never been around guns what a day at the range looks like. It seems like there is a lot of people out there, who don't have experience, believing misinformation. Even though this is a 2nd hand experience, it gives them some kind of real experience, which is a step toward understanding.
i hope charlie will expose more people to proper gun safety and make people realize they are not just murder machines but tools that can be fun if you are insanely careful. how can you not want a gun after seeing this?

Even though they're being a little silly, its good to see a decent respect for the firearms . This is something heavily misunderstood by anyone who didn't grow up around guns. My father taught me to respect firearms and we went to the range often. He may have done too good a job, since I'm quite anxious around them. Pro gun doesn't mean wanting a careless unregulated wasteland. In fact, if you don't know how to keep it pointed down range and keep you're finger off the trigger, you'll get reprimanded and criticized by friends and strangers.

I heard in order to shoot directly at it, you must shoot it where it's going to be (aiming in front of the target while it moves), not where it's at.
You move with it and aim about a fists length away in the direction it’s going, more depending on speed.
