I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

I feel like some of SM's dancers were dreaming of Kai's solo debut... they get a chance to show off their skills with the masterful, intricate choreography Kai is trusted with - throughout his entire music show season!
Reason and Amnesia were definitely my tav tracks on KAI they’re just full of energy and were just good in general
And the fact we don't get Kai perform in Amnesia outfit is not right. It's illegal to not let him perform with that killer outfit.

this is such a great addition to KAI's dance numbers I feel like coz we've never seen such a raw seasoned but concentrated choreo from him, like I don't get how he nails every single dance form

Reason is really all about feeling yourself when dancing, having fun.
Kai makes this hip hop moves seem easy, when they are not. That man knows no genre limits when dancing.

I've been thinking about how Reason choreo reminds me A LOT of Step Up movies and now that you said that, I get even more validated HAHAHA.
also yea the original choreographer of Reason (badalee__ on insta) also said that the choreo is hard but Kai is so persistent with himself and always wanted to do better so it impressed her and look at how he executes the choreo now :').

My eyes hurt when I try to focus on reason choreo like there's a lot of moves so freaking fast I can't even see what he just did ! I literally just noticed that the last one was like love shot when jeff pointed it out ! And ofc Kai doesn't leave us alone but keep distracting and attaching us 🙂 how are we supposed to focus?!

there are a lot of good dancers in the industry im sure some will say that they can do it .. yes of course they can but definitely they cant surpass kai's vibe and charisma when he is dancing.. Kai is kai our dancing machine..

you should check out dkb ! they debuted in 2020 with "Sorry Mama" which was such a strong debut song! they do a lot of their own choreos and have a whole playlist for their choreography videos that i think you would enjoy🥺💗

I just wanna point out that 2:23 in the dance practice video they did THE SMEEZE which was also the same move Lay did in HONEY mv during the chorus choreo....now im just waiting for Sehun to complete the main dancers routines they do :)

When i started analyzing this dance practice i realized its not all fun and games. The dance its not easy and the movements are incredible fast, Kai does 3 different moves in less than a second, hes so fast and agile that you miss them if you blink

I searched for a lot of Kai cover and let me tell you there are very little among of people who were able to do a great job and most of them were professional including idols... These choreos are so hard to pull off
