    A P38 is invaluable, especially for the size and weight. It can be a screwdriver, prying device(small) and all sorts of stuff as I'm sure you know. And that spiderwire is definitely the stuff. Multiple uses as well. And I saw how you struck spark with the knife... just ribbing ye.
    Thanks, William.

    I love the concept, I would include a small section if say 50lb fishing line in the necklace as an emergency break away, in case it gets hung up on a branch is something so you don't get strangled by it.

    • @wcknives
      @wcknives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Appreciate the thought but has anyone every got strangled to death with a neck knife? Never heard of it actually happening myself. Just how many things would have to go wrong for that to happen. First you would have to be knocked unconscious, get your neck cord hung on a branch strong enough to hold your weight and then stay in that predicament for at least 4 minutes….completely unconscious the whole time. Not one of my concerns really.

    • @jaysonjones5527
      @jaysonjones5527 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree it's not necessary for most. But if you ride a horse or ATV in heavy timber this option becomes more reasonable.

    • @wcknives
      @wcknives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jaysonjones5527 good points. I suppose anything is possible but I do not do any of those things in the woods. I would be more concerned with the cord breaking and loosing my knife.

    No one of those metal credit card 'multitools'? I think real outdoor people has said it's useless.
    But a real useful multitool is the Leatherman Squirt. Small enough to carry without the weight. It can replace the P38. Just be carful when boarding planes. Many people forgotten they are carrying it and end up disposing the Leatherman when passing through security.
