The thing with the tuso making your dino disappear happened to me a few days ago. I had a plesiosaur attack the tuso and I was riding a second one to attack with once he grabbed the first, but the first one just disappeared. I think it has something to do with the dino being grabbed near the border and then he gets glitched outside the barrier and vanishes, or something similar.
I'll be honest seeing syntac fight this boss makes me more concerned for if and when I decide to try and fight it. If his army can die this easily, then I don't know what I'm going to do. Any tips for this fight? What creatures (only on the island) would work for crowd control? That's my main concern, getting stuck in a corner or something and not having away out.
@@nova14414 i did this fight recently. Its not that hard tbh. I didnt lose any rexes and they all had over 5k health. The dragon did more damage than the overseer lol.
@@nova14414 you're not obligated to do the alpha one, but if you want, I remember not losing any creature when I used a bunch of therizinos and 2 yutyrannus, honestly dont bring rexes cause you'll lose them in the actual cave, and always put your tames on a train formation when going through the tek cave
Just so ya know, The 0 Damage is when the damage is so low that it just shows up as a 0, but it is actually like 0.1 to 0.9 damage. so dont try to tank that bc you will actualy die if you take to many hits at the same time. (viodwyrms have the same feature, it just spams the damage so quick you will take like 100 damage per second).
The border deleting tames has been in the game for a while now, the Tuso puts you through the border and then a insta-kill barrier deletes your tame and it's inventory. It used to be worse, when you approached the border the game just instantly killed you, your tame and both of your inventories, I found this out the hard way.

I also learned the hard way that you don't fight near the outside wall of the level. You're lucky that Tuso didn't grab you and put you out of the mesh.

I did the overseer on gamma, beta and alpha difficulty on sp in that order, and I can't remember when, but I got a skeletal giga to spawn in the TEK cave, which luckily died in the lava. It was probably the wierdest and most confusing thing I saw there. Also I love the TEK cave theme. Gives me goosebumps, like so many ark themes do.
I've done Alpha Tek Cave numerous times on Official & Private Servers, as well as Single Player. On a server, BY FAR the most efficient way to get through the cave is to clear the cave on a Giga and munch everything in sight, then when you get to the spot where Syntac "drops down" before the final lava pit, throw your boss team out of cryopods from the top ledge down to the bottom and just walk them straight to the teleporter. Entire cave takes 15-20 min. In Single Player, you can't use cryopods anywhere in the cave, but there's no time limit...so just take your time in the cave and try not to lose any dinos on the way.
Since the Deinonychus don’t get aggro to bosses, the Rexes caused them to die because the Overseer is trying to attack them and the deinos are in the crossfire. I was thinking of doing this on official with a Yuty and 19 deinonychus
Syntac could you please give me some tips on loot farming on the island. I watched your island ultimate ark series and saw that you got your ascendant rex bp, and I was wondering how long it took you to get it.
For the rex saddle he farmed the swamp cave in the redwoods, just stay in there with about 10 gas masks - the drops all respawn so there's a good chance you will get one. Also the western underwater cave is great for loot as well, as long as you keep your eyes open.
Hop on gen2, collect a few drops and you're pretty much guaranteed to get an asc rex saddle. We had 10 after less than a week on genesis 2. Tons of asc Rex, Giga and Megalosaurus saddles
9:03 they literally stay in the terminal if you get back there after you do the boss fight. Although this might be different on servers, since I play on singleplayer.
I always saw the Leeds blubber as Neapolitan Ice Cream that had gone off. For the Tek cave the glidesuit is a good recommendation, even if you won't get the environment bonus from a full suit with element. Climbing picks also work if you have access to Aberration resources. I usually just use a scout to pull creatures into lava. Sad about Poe and Athena. Congratulations on your +15 levels!
As Asha said, Syntac always puts the full mod list in the description of Episode one of every series (though not always straight away - especially if he's testing mods and may drop them/consider adding more in as the series goes on).

@@Syntac it might be on some other cliff, its a cliff with lava ahead of it, u can jump creatures off straight onto the final stretch. But im damn sure u can uncryo em on one, also it has to be within the first 5 mins of opening the cave, i.e. when the gates are open.
I know you probably wont see this but i just watched thru this whole playlist and a thought came to mind and I know you answered it in one of the videos but dont remember which. the question was what the difference between enable wander and enable mating on servers and on single player??? if anyone else knows which video that was in or the answer please tell me.
I think I might be misunderstanding your question, but just in case I'm not: Enable wander allows mating but also lets the dino's wander around (which often means they leave mating range and is annoying), enable mating allows mating but they'll stay still. If there's a difference in how those commands work between single player and on multiplayer server, I'm afraid I don't know it. Syntac has a discord, which has a very helpful fanbase which will likely give you a better answer if mine didn't cover it.

You had a tek saddle for Athena right?? And you dropped it (I’m assuming by accident), not collected it if I’m not mistaken, cuz I didn’t see it in your inventory at the end and I pretty sure you hit the drop all before you pulled out the regular saddle
Need to turn off your cluster's anti-mesh, thats what yeeted and deleted your deinosuchus, because the kill zone is pretty much right at the world border. ive lost my character so many times just swimming too close.
Syntac you probably know this the ultra stacks mod no longer being worked on and I heard that it doesn't work well with gen2.(Sorry for bad english its not my native language)

Isn't it better to temporarily ride one of the rexes to take out the drones and defense units? Personally it was stressful for me because the defense units were doing a lot of damage to your dinos and getting them crowded, severely reducing the mobility of your dinos

A giga will always spawn at the end of the tek cave on gamma and beta and 2 will be in alpha, yiu must have been in an event while going through this

The difficulty is multiplied by 30. So if you have difficulty 4 the max level dino should be 120. for some reason creatures in caves are higher level.
When u go to genesis part 2 u should make a base at the ”secret” underwater location that u found

use the soul finder feature of dino storage to find the lost dynosuchus
