as someone who is an avid comfy game player, after watching your 100 days videos you have convinced me to start playing ark again (i used to watch my brother play it when i was a bit younger, and he'd sometimes let me play lmao). i will say my experience was cut short by a dilo absolutely spawn camping me and my house, but watching your videos gives me some sort of hope i'll become a pro maybe. thanks for another amazing video

Tapejara is a good way to tranq a quetz. You can ride in the back seat and use whistles to guide it. It never loses stamina because you're not driving. So you follow the quetz around with whistles and shoot tranqs at it. The hardest thing is getting the tapejara into the air from the back seat, but generally walking it off a 3 wall high building and then whistling for it to go somewhere up in the air will get it flying about 1 in 5.
Even though you failed to defeat the bosses the sheer amount of effort this took and the entertainment I got from it was more than enough for me. Thanks again for uploading and making my day Granty

As far as your issues with power outages ruining your saves, look into getting a UPS. It's essentially a back-up battery you plug into your wall outlet then your stuff into it. It charges off your outlet, supplying power to your stuff. When your power goes off, it keeps feeding energy to your stuff. Depending on what you have plugged into your UPS and how much your UPS can store, that could be a few minutes to a few hours of extra power. Plenty enough to save and safely turn your pc off until your power is back on. They aren't cheap, but well worth the money if you can afford one.

Gotta say really nice surprise that you uploaded a video where you didn't actually complete your goal, refreshing change of pace from literally any video about a challenge where people just upload 1 successful attempt and you know the outcome before you even watch it. Good job :)
First vid I’ve watched and v good job 👍 just keep an eye on your gamma use in game I think you left it high for a good while. Also when I was taught quetzal taming in evolved, you tame a low level one first, and use that with a platform saddle that has the trap built on it, fly in front of the high level quetzal you want to tame let it fly into the trap and close it in, you can then tranq out the big birb easily and when it falls unconscious the platform catches it so it safe 👍
33:18, yep that's the only thing holding me back from getting it. My PC is going on 6 years old with the only upgrade being going from a 2080 Super to a 3090. If I could play ASA at more than 30 fps at 4k I'd drool over the game, but it's either 4k Max @ 80C GPU or 1080p Max @ 50C.
Sad, I wanted to see the monkey boss but wasn’t part of the video. Some tips: I use a wolf for many of the caves, it fits. For the swamp cave, I just take off my gas mask when there’s an arthro, kill it then put it back on. Not worth losing it and you don’t lose too much health.
Just a heads up, (Dunno if you found this out later) You can put raw meat in a toilet and if you flush it will immediately become spoiled meat. (Writing this at 1:12:31)
If you have an issue crashing, try changing a few of the graphic settings around. I tailored it to look good and still play well and out of 300 hours I haven’t crashed once. 💪🏼 I realized it just takes a little tinkering with the medium, high and epic settings to work with your system correctly and voila! Insta fix! Edit: I suggest changing a few things at a time to narrow down which setting is making you crash and then play as normal. At least that worked for me haha

Ascended tempted me to go back into Ark, especially with the quality of life tweaks. But seeing you go through the same troubles that made me quit the original was all I needed to avoid losing another few months in that game.
My wife and I just started playing ASE and we still know so little about the game. Watching this makes me dizzy with how much there is to know! I doubt we'll ever get to boss fighting or stuff like that. We still enjoy it though!
