    I appreciate that you are the only reaction channel to ever highlight just how insane Lewandowski's 5 goals in 9 minutes were, I'm convinced no other channel reads the caption on that particular clip

    16:40 Garrincha was the og Ronaldinho, and mentor to Pele. When Garrincha and Pele played in the same Brazil team, they won EVERY game they played, EVERY game, The world loves and respects Pele, and so do Brazilians, but in Brazil, Garrincha is the one they revere, he was the peoples player

    Similarities between Maradona and Messi:
    - both about 5"7
    - both wear nr 10
    - both argentinian
    - both left footed
    - both known for their unrivaled dribbling skills
    - both played at Barcelona
    - both free-kick monsters
    - both have insane balance and alot of strength for their size and are very hard to bring down or separate from the ball
    What's even more interesting is when you look at their personalities, they couldn't be more different, Maradona was an extrovert, had drug problems already during his career as player, alot of controversies, fierce personality on and off the pitch. Messi on the other hand is more of a modest, shy introvert and more of a silent and "innocent" guy.

    • @yojustmatt
      @yojustmatt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wow, that’s honestly crazy, how similar they are on the pitch and how different they are off the pitch. I appreciate you sharing this💯 I was really mind blown lol, this type of stuff just surprises me

    • @benjaminbronnimann3966
      @benjaminbronnimann3966 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yojustmatt yeah I think even though they're very different off the pitch their love for football and their hunger is the same, that's why they're so similar on the pitch

    • @jacksmith4460

      I think Marradona was better, stronger, tougher, better captain, better passer, more moves and skills in his locker, and dragged poor teams to the biggest prizes, as great as Messi is, and he is great, he does not have that, he is however the best dribbler ever, and has the best close control I have ever seen, but on pretty much every other metric I think Diego was better. Also Messi does not have defenders literally trying (and succeeding ) to break his legs/Ankles/Knees, Maradona did. I am not convinced Messi would be as good in Diego's era, although he would still be good.
      I watched Diego in the 80's and Messi in recent times, they are not as similar as you have made out. Go watch Napoli highlights when Diego played for them, you will see many things Messi just does not do. Diego was more like a mix of Messi and Ronaldinho in terms of style, somewhere between the 2. I would say Diego was more an attacking mid and Messi is more a wing forward, and Messi to me is not a classic Number 10, more a false 9 , which is different, Diego was more a classic number 10

      @@jacksmith4460 ofcourse he's better when you compare prime Maradona with Messi in recent times 🤷🏼‍♂️
      when you compare their consistency though it's a very different picture.

    The Lucas Moura hatrick in this reaction will go down in history as one of the best comebacks in footballing history. There's a clip of Ajax fans counting down the clock from 10. They got to 1 and Moura scored his third..

    If you want to see the best long freekick taker of all time...its not Roberto Carlos he was not actually that great at them. He did score some great free kicks, but he always tried spectacular shots, so he missed a lot of them, but the ones he scored always make the highlight reel. Roberto Carlos was left footed, so its his stronger foot
    The best Freekick taker of all time is Juninho and after that I would say someone like Gheorgie Hagi these guys regularly scored from 30-40 yards 06:41 , that is Juninho (number 8 yellow kit)
