The goals weren’t always that good but just the moment they were scored in like for example the winner of a champions league final. That with the fans. That’s the beauty of football.
ye to someone who doesn’t know the teams or the competitions it wouldn’t of meant very much like it saying “ucl final” would mean nothing to him i assume
"Hand of god" was Maradona (a football legend) using his hand to score and the refs didn't noticed. It was highly discussed for a long time and when he was asked years later it it was a handball he answered "it was me and the hand of god" hence the name given to this highly controversial goal.
9:01 Don't you understand how it doesn't hurt? ...Passion, adrenaline, the desire to win for your team, for the fans, for the country. That's all stronger than pain.
the thing with the 7:1victory by germany over brasil is, that the german trainer at half time told the players to stop scoring and humiliating the brasilians even more ... sadly Andre Schürrle was on the toilet or something because he didnt hear the order, got subbed on and scored two to simply further the pain
The “Hand Of God” goal should’ve never happened. It was a hand ball…. VAR didn’t exist then and the refs had no sight of the foul. His second goal in that match was phenomenal though.
I never understood growing up why people say hitting the ball hurt or getting hit by it in some places hurt, as i’ve grown up i’ve assumed that it’s because u don’t lock ur leg or neck or whatever, if u just kick a ball but don’t lock ur ankle and leg it could hurt if u do it hard but if u like lock ur whole leg and ankle it doesn’t hurt at all. It’s the same with headers, if the ball just hits ur head it might hurt but if u lock and tense ur neck its fine
Hi from germany Yesterday I talked to my son about the 7:1 in Brazil. One of my great moments since I watch football and that's more than 45 years after all.
with damn near every major game covered by multiple cameras and instant replay we are seeing loads of great moments, but how much have we missed when "match of the day" only covered 3 games a week
That is how fcking happy I was when Canadá took the Gold Cup in Y2K. Greg Forest was one of the best penalty stopper keepers ‘I’ve ever seen up to that time. The you had Claudio Bravo from Chile. Canada reached glory, then Canada did not choose to go to the Copa America in Colombia. That team was fabulous. You should see them. 1/2 of the team was Forest though.
"Hand of God" by Diego Maradona. He used his hand to score the goal, but the refrees allowed it. But the refrees were not able to prove that he used his hand.
I'm late to this party, but I love your enthusiasm.if you want to know what it really means I think can be demonstrated by the rendition of " you'll never walk alone",at a friendly between Melbourne fc and Liverpool, it's a must to see and hear how one team 12,000 miles from home is so loved and admired,I suppose you've had lots of suggestions but if you haven't seen this one I hope you watch it,the lyrics describe the camaraderie of football in one video, enjoy, and keep well, safe and warm.👍
To fully appreciate the meaning of these moments you need to place each moment into the context of the match. Just one example: in 2005, Liverpool played AC Milan in the Champions League final in Istanbul, Turkey. At half time, AC Milan were leading 3-0 and most neutral watchers would have likely thought Liverpool had about a 5% chance of winning the game. By full time, Liverpool had scored 3 so the full time score was 3-3.....so the game went to extra time with no further score.....so it went to penalties, and Liverpool won the shoot-out. This was sports drama of the highest order.....but there any many such examples from the best sport in the world.
The glory days of Brazil are long gone unfortunately, but when they played in top form they were the best. They made football 'the beautiful game'. Please react to Ronaldinho.
As an England fan the hand of god hurts, the lack of VAR and technology meant the referee didn’t make the right decision and in the end that ended Englands dream, later Maradona justified his act of cheating by saying it wasn’t him but actually god, he then got banned from playing in Italy whilst at Napoli for doing cocaine and died in 2020 in his sixties so cheating didn’t really pay off for him, and all of Argentina now hail Messi.
Little context to the muppet that said that Spurs did all that only to get knocked out in the final, obviously it's either a Woolwich, Chelski or Wet Spam fan or they don't watch football, the ref was completely against us from the first whistle. Granted, we played crap, but giving liVARpool a pen inside 2 mins was a joke, and heads dropped from then. Also Harry Kane should never have been picked, especially above Moura
Maradona^s "hand of god" goal was only the second best goal scored in that game,,,, Scotland celebrated it as much as Argentina did. brilliant goal, absolutely nothing wrong with it.
The hand of God. That was Maradona who scored a goal in the world cup final but he touched it with his hand. So it should not have counted but it did. And after that they named that goal the hand of God.
That game (Argentina versus England) was the quarter final of the World Cup in 1986. Argentina went on to win the World Cup that year, despite their tendency to cheat!!!
He got goosebumps while I have tears in my eyes reliving these iconic moments... That's how different we live football!
i had both
* Me crying *
Dad : But you didn't watch any of those matches
Me : I know. But still...
@@gaurangdhamankar so true bro

he almost made up for it with the 'goal of the century' which england would have lost anyway. Messi later did something similar.
9:01 Don't you understand how it doesn't hurt? ...Passion, adrenaline, the desire to win for your team, for the fans, for the country. That's all stronger than pain.
You dont get it until you have tears in your eyes watching this
For context, the chances of Leicester City winning the league in 15/16 was 1 out of 5000, or a 0.0002% chance of winning.
the very few people who placed on those odds became so rich lol..
goosebumps in all honour but im literally sat here crying over this

thats a fake rumour
„did they not check it“ is wild haha

thanks for clarifying !!! I was thinking how was that allowed 😭
If VAR did exist England would be down to 7 players first 30 mins :)
Today it wouldnt happend yup VAR
11:30 After winning the world cup: "on peut mourir tranquille" says it all
I LOVE THIS SPORT SO MUCH!!!
Football is a way of life

5:14 That was indeed the Hand of God. Maradonna pushed the ball in with his hand but the goal was still allowed.
Subtitles are the most important in this video, because they provide context
Half of these goals aren't special at all without it

About hand of God he touches a Ball with hand but referee didnt see it
that bicycle kick is the best goal in football history and it was made by Zlatan Ibrahimovic the lion from sweden!
"I don't get how that doesn't hurt?"
Does not matter if you've just scored. 😊

You’ve gotta react to Ronaldinho. He’s one of the most entertaining people to ever play

If you wanna get more into football i'd start with Ronaldo and messi. The 2 with the best arguments to be the goat
If you haven't done a header, it isnt like a basketball. It's softer
I know it was all fast paced but I feel like you definitely missed the 5 goals in 9 minutes all by the same player at 9:03.
O cara que fez esse vídeo definitivamente não respeita o Brasil como seleção e nem como uma liga kkk
React to .... Gheoghe Hagi, regele din carpati goals & skills
Sub 670, worth it.
