I remember seeing in the 1980’s at the Bournemouth Winter Rally a 8R2! It had a V8 Brian Heart engine, but never seen or heard anything about it since. Personally, that’s the way to go, dump the 4 wheel drive and go for a high powered mid engine set up?
as its a new car, you just put in for an mot homologation test, like a kit car, you test the car with an mgf engine in it and kapoooow! staright through the test :)

@@marksmatchboxmemories-xd6qp sounds cool & that engine line was sweet/ smooth, had one in a Rover 214. I found the music absolutely atrocious 😂
This is the kinda car that every cowboy needs!
I had the pleasure of driving one of these on the Group B circuit.
What an absolute weapon these cars were.
Nice build they loom mint in the silkoline colours ✊
yup, if claire williams had done it, she could have saved the team, considering it was her father and patrick head, who designed the car.
I love to see a road drive review on this beastie - so so happy to see that these are being made again!!! ❤
I've got an upcoming road test, in an rt charger :)
Fantastic, shame it hasn’t got a v64v

I worked on a few rallycross 6R4s. They were a lot easier to drive than the RS200s. Sounded great, plenty of grunt too
Sick I want one 😩
only 200k bargain lol :)

ive got a metro :) love it
