My friend nice work , enjoyed your video and what you did to your Slash. To many people forget what the hobby is all about , we are all in it to have fun , any thing more then that is just the extras. Your idea of the ultimate Slash should be different then mine , creativity being different , we can all learn something from each other . Keep it do as you please if it made you smile thats what counts
Interesting video, thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights. I have the LCG chassis on mine and it really does change the character of the truck's handling. I think I might just have to make the extended front arms my next modification. I really like the idea of using the same wheels front and rear.
New to RC, my friend birthday gifted me a TRX4 Defender last year, effectively getting me into this hobbie. I just added a Slash VXL, and so far, it's a blast!
Running the stock vxl drive shafts for now with no issue. If I have to upgrade I’ll probably go with Tekno drives. I have a set on my Slash 4x4 and Stampede 2wd and they’ve been bullet proof.
Dude I want to say Thank You ! I pre ordered the slash in 08' ! Im trying to get back into it. Watching your excitement is encouraging !!! Thank You
Happy to help! Glad to have you back in the hobby man 👊

Thanks a lot! 100% agree, the hobby is all about having fun. If we aren’t having fun then what’s the point lol.

Thanks! It’s definitely nice not having to buy specific wheels just for the front. Also too, it’s nice be able to swap wheels with the 4x4 slash

Welcome to the hobby and wow what a way to start! Both excellent vehicles!
What driveshafts are you running?

Sorry, I just have to point out your rear tires are on the wrong sides. 🙂
Thanks and no worries lol. I didn’t notice until I was 4 videos in🤦♂️
far from being close to an ultimate slash...
