On Friday, May 10, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Department of General Services (DGS), and the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) celebrated the opening of Texas Avenue Dog Park in Ward 7.
As the first dog park east of the Anacostia River, this historic milestone represents just one of 360+ projects managed by our Capital Construction Services team across the District.
The Texas Avenue Dog Park will feature two separate areas for large and small dogs and amenities like grills, seating, and shade structures for all to enjoy.
