Located at 2nd & D St, NW, Federal City Shelter is the nation's largest shelter, with the DC Department of General Services (DGS) overseeing maintenance. From plumbing and lighting upgrades to HVAC enhancements, our work ensures a safe and secure environment for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Last week, Director Hunter visited the Federal City Shelter, acknowledging the crucial role played by our CBE and small business partners through the $1.2 million building upgrade, ensuring completion before the District's Hypothermia season is in full swing.
