On May 24, 2024, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the DC Department of General Services, and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) continued the tradition of celebrating the opening of outdoor pools in the District with the annual event, Jump In, DC.
We couldn't be prouder of our amazing DGS team! They have worked around the clock for months to upgrade, clean, inspect, and maintain 22 outdoor pools and 32 spray parks for this year's pool opening season.
This achievement is a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to delivering top-notch amenities for the District.
