Tim.. one of the greatest mysteries of our time
Van occupanther is one of the best albums ever recorded
agree. lucky me for having the chance, to listen to it
I agree with this statement.
I agree!!!
@Grant Culverston Agreed
And Antiphon too :)
Got an email from Tim just last week. He's in a good place, with his new project (Harp), and making music everyday. Just not quite ready to let it go yet. I guess its complicated - Please give him the time he needs. Peace! :)
Sweetballs!!!
Ahhh, happy to hear this!
Nice to see some news about Tim. Thanks.
Midlake just released new music!
any update?
The drummer in this band is so solid. Nothing fancy, just holding the groove and lots of tasteful fills.
I love this band, keep coming back to their albums, this is a great concert I never knew about. Saw them on the courage of others tour at shepherds bush in London and it was a beautiful magical concert. Thank you guys
Popped up in my feed, some of them are superstitious is incredibly complex. With so many synths doing separate parts and all of them arranged beautifully! Insane how they could make this work live
And… Excited But Not Enough is the best fucking song. That intro key part grabs my spine. 👻 @36:52
Roscoe 06:11 - The most underrated song ever
Agreed 👌
My wife and I named our son Roscoe, largely inspired by this song.
This might be my favorite TH-cam video
Their songs withstand the tooth of time after more then ten years extensive listening . The answers given by Tim Smith in the interview in the middle of the ' vid' have a sincerety that is very rare in pop-music. Thank you for posting this Rockpalast and broadcasting over all these years
Tim is a gift
"tooth of time" I like that!
Biting into a human construct
I love this record especially bamnan and silvercock songs. Thank you guys having this songs for us, it means much for me ❤️
Hey look, it's the best band ever!
Tim come back please 💓you are amazing!
most talented musicians ive ever heard or seen Midlake is a band that is Magical i really really love them
Groupe mythique qui s'est arrêté trop tôt. Merci pour ce fantastique concert.
Bamnan and Slivercork just so amazing and so do their other albums, with their own sounds. lucky me!
Tim is so fascinating to me
Backing vocal harmonies not mixed / loud enough. But precious performance. ❤️
van occupanther was so good
Beautiful fekin miss midlake what a unit they was together you can feel how tight they was then so much talent they must individually be making some epic sounds behind them closed doors hoping your all well man❤️💕🤘🤘❤️🤘🤘
Gets better each passing year
Amazing band
i saw them live in st augustine back in 2011 and man were the s fucking good live
My dream band: where every single player chips in with critically important clutch singing.
Amazing...qué grandes ,joder!!
I really hope TIm is okay, haven't heard anything from him in a while. He's so freaking talented, come back man!
Isn't he now called father John misty?
Harp
Harp is set to release their HIGHLY anticipated album later this year!!!!
He's been working on his project Harp, gonna release an album December 1st
@@artomarto679 he was the drummer in fleet foxes
superb
Banda incrível! São os Crosby, Still, Nash & Young dos dias de hoje!
need to tell you guys,
we are really really lucky have a chance to listen
this masterpiece album bamnan & silvercork
brings ballads into another level,
like it's a ticket to a misty land
pardon my outspoken word,
but even any of pink floyd and jethro tull themselves
can't counters this album.
i'm talking as on behalf of
die hard radiohead, mew, stone roses,
cure, smiths and such
means I know good song.
and I just wondering why indieband
nowadays doesn't try to imitate
this new genre.
Magical
Anyone know which Casio keyboard they're using?
Travis n Midlake same same but different.
Love this band but this mix is awful, with the rhythm section overpowering the vocals.
The mix is really bad, yeah :( Probably not the band's technician for this concert, seeing as it's a festival, so they probably didn't know the band's sound and songs well enough
A great Band, but actual Midlake are far away from this sound. I'm just waiting for Tim Smith Album, hoping to find some beautiful echoes of old records
why live sounds so different to the actual album
Vocals are louder on the album
Tim doesn’t seem at ease.
26:40 - He's doing just fine haha
does he ever?
he need to go to bathroom real quick
Never does.
Es scheint dem Sänger echt schwer zu fallen, beim Singen die Zähne auseinander zu bekommen.
Awkward interview 👀
