I just got the V1 peel yesterday and my aesthetician told me if I can tolerate it to leave it on overnight it would work even better. I left it on overnight and I had no discomfort or itchiness! Can’t wait to see my results.

I love doing at home peels! I would recommend, though, that you also put Aquafor on your brows, if they are microbladed; TCA can take that pigment out of your skin!

Thank you Lisa! I did a VI Peel with an esthetician last year and loved the results. But this year I wanted to try a VI Peel kit myself at home. Your video gave me a nice set of steps to follow and I appreciate the tip about the aquaphor--very informative. Thanks again! Also, if you are considering a VI Peel--do it! I have brown spots and blackheads, the peel burns the blackhead right off and lessens the brown spots considerably. It also really smooths my skin, at 38 my make-up is going on in a rough and unflattering way--but after this peel--it's way better. Fingers-crossed my at-home kit works as well as my first VI Peel!

I get a VI peel 2 times a year and the peeling is amazing! You do have to plan a convenient time to do this, but the skin looks fantastic when finished. I have it done in a Dr office. The secret of peeling is to really apply the moisture cream! Thanks 🙏

I ordered a peel to try at home. The instruction say to do the eyes but in Lisa’s video she didn’t do her eyes. Do you have it done on your eyes?
Laura Hassler hi! I did one gentle swipe over the lid , didn’t go over it more than once and I did so when the gauze had been used over the whole face so it wasn’t soaked , most of the product had been used on the face and what was left I gently did on the lid.

how much was it compared if you went in to have it done?
Where did you buy this vi peel? I went to a salon to get mine done and they wouldn't do my neck stating I needed another bottle for each section of my face, neck and chest? I think they were obviously lieing. I'm feeling like a wasted my money and could do a better job myself at home. They also didn't do my under eye? From all the videos I'm seeing, yours is the best they should have covered my face neck and chest.
Platinum skin care is awesome peels with live turtorials to apply your peels! Must soak gauze and squeeze so it never drips, you have beautiful skin! Great job you do.

I'm getting my 3rd VI Peel tomorrow. The first time I didn't peel much at all but I was mostly doing it to treat acne so I didn't care. The second time I peeled a lot more but I think that's because the person that applied it the second time was a lot more aggressive and that's why I got better results. I also wasn't as afraid to be more aggressive when using the towelettes since I knew what to expect the second time around and really tried to get the product deep in my skin. Unfortunately I still have a lot of pigmentation and the VI Purify Precision doesn't seem to do much for my skin but since this is the only peel that you don't need to pretreat your skin for I'm sticking to this. Prepping my skin with retinol for other deeper peels is just too painful. It has improved my acne by like 85% which is huge cuz I had horrible cystic acne that was difficult to cover. I can wear less makeup now which is great cuz I've always hated foundation ☺️

I was pleasantly surprised! The process was easy (especially since I am working from home) and painless. I really didn't even experience itching. I have long term sunspots, which is frustrating because I am NOT a sun-bunny. I didn't think the ViPeel would make much of a difference, but it is quite noticeable. My worse spot has definitely faded. I had thought about doing some type of procedure (for years). Honestly, it would probably taken me a few more years to actually do something if Lisa hadn't posted the video of her experience. Since the ViPeel I have started a new skin routine- something about having a fresh layer of skin inspired me to step up my game.

Fabulous results, worth the price! I ordered the peel and did it at home. It worked great! (Excellent customer service from the salon btw) I have a lot of sun damage and melasma, so I wasn’t expecting any miracles. But the peel totally lessened the look of more obvious discoloration, evened out my skin coloring overall, and left my décolletage even and creamy white. (I am very fair skinned with dark eyes and hair) Perfection? No, but amazing improvement! I will do it again as soon as I’m allowed! Highly recommend. I am not a robot, not being paid to post, and I’m a big Lisa fan!

Happy Mother's Day Rene! I do know you have to stop RetinA during and maybe a few weeks after. I am sure the skin would be very sensitive to it. I am not sure about how far in advance you'd have to stop using it before the peel though.

I am curious why she only left it on for 8 minutes. I know some people who do it at night and sleep with it on since it is self-neutralizing. I'm not suggesting anyone do this but they get great results.

Just want everyone to know that you don’t have to spend $275 to do a peel at home! That’s crazy. I just did a 13% TCA peel at home and it cost me $20. I got mine at platinum skincare. There are options on amazon as well. And tons of TH-cam how to videos.

I know TCA peels aren’t safe for darker skin tone. So many peel and laser treatments
aren’t 😟 but a VI Peel IS an option for dark skin so I’m stuck with the high price. The results are really good, though, so am grateful I even have this.
LiveLoveHula Kim check out some videos by platinum skin care on you tube. They say darker skin tones can very safely do TCA peels with proper preparation with a melanin reducing regimen in the weeks preceding a peel.

Lisa this was awesome! And perfect timing- I have been recently researching treatments I could do for aging on my chest that would help improve the look of my chest. Turning 56 in June and I’m lucky to have great skin. I take good care of it and do a little Botox on my forehead and crows feet and upper lip lines a few times a year but lately my chest area has been really bothering me and with summer coming.......this is definitely something I would try at home. I’m a little confused as to you putting on a post peel right after your main peel. I’ve been told to wait 4 hours after original peel then start with post peel towelette. Did you have to do anything special to your skin during the 4 days after the peel? Did you just use your regular moisturizer on your skin and no acids, etc?
If I’m not mistaken after the 6th day, you can continue with your normal skin care routine. I received this peel several times from a Derm. The kit comes with a step by step guide.

This is a great video except it's very confusing because you have to leave the solution on for four hours, and it looks like you only left it on for 8 minutes and then wiped it off with a towelette.
Have you ever used the Ordinary bha/aha peel which can be used more often, I tried a few times first time it did sting but only my second time using it did not sting as much and when I removed it I seen quite a difference in my skin it looked brighter and healthier

I have a question for you. I just purchased this peel and I’m so excited to try this. I was sent the instructions yesterday and I’m wondering the part on three step is saying wipe around your eyes and I really didn’t see you treat your eyes except for right underneath. Did you ever use it on your eyelid up to your brow bone? It’s seems scary to me to put it on my lid.
Don't use it on your eyelid. It's a chemical and it spreads to the rest of the surrounding skin. Use it AROUND your eyes and brown bone but I wouldn't put a chemical directly on my eyelid.

I am curious if the product at home is the same? Also surprised your aesthetician is OK with selling it at that cost vs 400$ for in office application. Don’t get me wrong that’s great! I just finished peeling from my first vi peel at home and honestly, it peeled so much better when I did it myself. The first time I had it done it didn't peel and I had minimal flaking. I just ordered a vi peel precision plus because even though there has ben a reduction in my hyper pigmentation I do have some stubborn spots. I am really excited to do that one in 30 days.

Let it come off naturally!! Important because it can cause hyperpigmentation &/or breakouts that you wldn't have had otherwise. This info is based on when I had a peel done professionally as well as watching an unhealthy amount of other videos (both from dr's & TH-camrs). LOL Hope this helps.
