Thank YOU in advance 😍
Funny info: During one of their concerts, they asked fans what they wanted as an encore song. And fans started screaming Boxer!!!! Chan went to the back to get the song ready and meanwhile Han was visibly terrified and seen mumbling the lyrics cause he forgot them and didn't prepare for that (Han is notorious for forgetting his lyrics) 🤣
Yes 😭 Han is literally a genius in writing songs, but forgets even his own lyrics 😭
Our poor Hannie 😭 I can visualize his face 100%
@@SpineThatRends Yep, I remember laughing so much at that clip. He was like "Oh shit, ooops." And just walking here and there and mumbling lyrics 😂
Wait, when was that? I need to see it
@@lidiaf9598 I don't think I can really find it lol. Good luck to you, gonna share what I remember:
I think it was Maniac tour. It was probably some Seoul concert, it was probably in the spring. And Boxer was the encore
You should watch their stage performance of Victory Song at the 2020 MAMA Awards - it was incredible. Chan always rearranges songs for stage performances, he's amazing!
I second this suggestion!
It's brilliant!
@@SKZSALLIE it's pure 🔥
Yes a MASTERPIECE 🙏🏻
it’s a masterpiece actually
someone get this guy tickets for the dominATE tour
NO LITERALLYYYYYY I'm in if we all pitch in hahaha
True
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Idk where he is but if he’d be going to whatever NYC-area show they have I’d be happy to accompany / guide / chaperone 😂
That’s what I was thinking today! 👍🤘
My husband and I took a very long road trip last week and I was playing Stray kids and Ateez for a bit, and when we went back to non kpop the first thing he said was "wow, this does not sound as full after listening to Stray Kids' 😂 He too appreciates the "soundscapes" they create.
" Bang Chan? Is that my boy with a laptop " YES, THAT'S THE LEGENDARY LAPTOP
Chronosaurus is my underrated queen skz don’t even remember about
Same 😭 is My favorite song
Real, sometimes I feel like I remember more of their songs than skz themself lol 😭
It's a fav of mine too ❤😊
I love chronosaurus! It’s so different but the vibe is so good!
I love that song! And actually when I first heard it, the instrumental reminded me of some kind of five nights at freddy’s fan song and I literally have no idea why, but it’s what I think of when I hear it and now I can’t get the imagery out of my head 😂
Bang Chan!! The boy with that laptoppppp
One downside of listening to Stray Kids while driving, they love siren sounds. Never sure if I'm getting pulled over or its SKZ.😊
OMG! I thought the same thing yesterday!! I looked around and saw nothing and then cursed Chan 😂😂
True!! 😂
Case 143 gets me every time 😂
And the reason for my speed tickets.
I just got hype and goooooo.
My husband always says this when I put on skz while he’s driving 😂😂😂😂😂 he’s learnt which songs to expect them too now ahaahahha
I'm 53 and have been a Stay for just over a year. I wanted to let you know that I thoroughly enjoy your reactions! It's almost like hearing their songs again for the first time. They have so many different things in their music! You're the only reactor that I find fun watching with no lyrics up and no mv playing. You're a first on that for sure! Thank you!!❤
I really appreciate that! 🙏
I’m 58 and have also been a stay for about a year. It’s amazing how much more you hear in their music listening in Tonys reactions! Love it!
@Eva-u1e4n
EXACTLY
Verissimo!!
I'm 48. Been a Stay for a little over a year and a half. 😊 Also appreciate the breakdown.
I saw them at the I-Days festival in Milan in July and both Miroh and Victory song go soooooo hard live. Insane! Miroh is like an unofficial anthem and they always perform it near the end of the concert. The energy just radiates through the crowd!
ahhh Milan. I'm so jealous.
@@tonystocco well I’m from Croatia, so Italy isn’t that far 😃
I wish we could get Tony and Chris (the guy with the laptop haha) to sit down for an interview. Tony could ask all his questions about why 3racha made certain decisions with the production, and Chris would be so flattered and excited (maybe also embarrassed) by all the appreciation for their artistry. That interview could last for hours and hours and I would soak up every single second of it
cant wait to see u react to side effects🤭🤭
I love Side Effects so much.❤
I am sooooooo waiting for his reaction to Side Effects
Kingdom - Side effects+God's Menu performance ❤❤❤❤❤
Side effects is in my top 5 songs from skz
YESSS Side Effects is such a banger of an EDM track.
Sooo, The Clé Trilogy.
Before that was the "I Am" trilogy, which was about their identity (I Am Not, I Am Who? and I Am you)
The Clé trilogy is about finding their place. So Clé: Miroh is The City, or a place already civilized with norms, related to the (then) current kpop scene. The theme in Miroh is SKZ trying to conquer this place. Then you have Clé: Yellow Wood, which is to step out from the norm and walk through the Road not taken, so it's them experimenting their own path. And finally is Clé: Levanter, which is where the journey took them, and is not a place but the wind that comes from the east, to express their "place" is actually continue movement and change (its also the most melodic and breezy from the trilogy).
That's why InLife is considered their first Album, because that's what came after all that self exploration musically and as a group.
Also, from Hellevator to Levanter, they had a whole storytelling about this whole journey, seen through their MVs and intros, which explains better all this than what I can do.
AAAnd also fun fact, 19 is about the fear of growing up and leave the teens, so the voices with autotune are meant to represent the cracking voices from puberty.
Perfect analysis!!!
Wow thanks for sharing this ❤
What a nOicEly written explanation of Clé album series. I hope you save/copy and paste so you can share with others. So going into the Stayville post-it library bulletin board.. 🖖🏽😁
@ 😂😂😂 i can hear felix “noice” in my mind. And the other mocking members too
Fun facts about this album: Miroh was the first song to earn them a win on a korean music show, it was very emotional. And Victory Song was used in the Tokyo Olympics 😁 Oh and also just to emphasise how young these guys are, the song 19 is about them turning into adults, as their youngest member had only just turned 18 alongside most of the members being 18-19. Bang Chan, as you probably know is the leader, was only 21. These guys have been crazy producers and lyricists since infancy. Even when you go back to their pre-debut days, 3RACHA were making underground rap tracks at the respective ages of 18-16-15.
P.S: I can't wait for you to get to their debut album 'I am NOT' which has the absolute masterpiece of a song '3rd Eye'. And then their SKZ-REPLAY album is something I think you'll find super interesting, as it covers countless genres and is an amalgamation of each member's solo songs throughout the years from 2018-2022. You'll truly get a feel for what each member specialises in and the genres they lean towards in their individual tracks - and prepare for absolute WHIPLASH in genre switch-ups.
❤❤❤❤
3rd Eye es una joya maravillosa
Boxer is one of their songs where I think, if we listened to the layers individually, we'd look at 3racha like they are nuts. But they hear it. They have the vision. It's amazing. ❤
Clé (cleh) is French for key 😊 and MIROH (meeroh) is Korean for maze
One day, you should take your top 5 songs and watch the lyric videos just for a different perspective. Their lyrics are just as creative!
Oh that is a great idea!!!! Their lyrics s are so clever ... their use of word play between languages always gets me! GENIUS....
Yes this is a great idea!! Their lyrics are really creative and have lots of puns/references. There’s another channel on TH-cam called Handsome Sausages who reacts to a lot of SKZ songs and explains the lyrics/references really well if you’re interested, Tony!
Fun facts; Miroh uses the chant of a Maori Haka (NZ ) and the music video reflects some of the moves in the choreography , Maze of Memories is the only track where every member raps, be careful when listening whilst driving though when the sirens are played, freaks me out every time 😅
I mean, you can for sure tell they have improved. But their music was never bad or even simple.
And I love that for us
100%! Their music is personally timeless ❤
They really started strong out of the gates - Hellevator and District 9, their very first two tracks, are still two of my favourites!
It’s ok to not like a SKZ album. Let’s try them ALL and see how you go.
🤣
All of them are definitely worth listening 😊
I remember watching your first Stray Kids video when ypu posted it and now you're almost at 10k subs 😮 Congratulations you deserve it 🎉
It's crazy!
G@@tonystoccodefinitely ANYTHING SKZ will boost your numbers! Stray kids, world domination!!!
Maze of Memories and 3rd Eye are the love my life
Can confirm that Victory Somg at Hyde park festival was life changing 🎉
Fun fact about Victory Song: Han's cousin is a baseball player in Korea, and it's his walk-out song. There's a rumor that the song was written for him.
wait what, who? I've never heard this!
@Tristana.Keauna Im Giyeong. He plays for the Kia Tigers. His wife is Han's cousin.
@@poeticdeath5877 thank you.
Miroh is a very special song in their discography, it got them their first win!! It was the first wave of them getting the attention of the public, a lot of new fans thanks to this song, and a lot of people still consider this to be their best tittle track. I remeber this era very clearly, it was a wild ride lol, a lot of emotions back then 😅 they were truly linving up to their 'stray kids' title!
I need Bang Chan, the boy with the laptop, to see your reactions. He would absolutely love and appreciate them. He used to mention reactors he liked to watch when he used to go live.
HOLY SHIT, it's Christmas!!!!!!!!!
I hope he react to Christmas evel 😂
Love your reacts as always!! Not a sports fan, but after 45 min of staring at your hat remembered that Suengmin (their lead vocalist) threw the first pitch at a dodgers / korea exhibition game in march! 😅
Boxer is in my top 10 SKZ songs. There’s just something about it. And it has this goofy street MV that was shot on a kids playground in Australia featuring Bangchan’s dog Berry 😂 … oh yeah and some cute kids
It's a banger
Tony’s thumbnails never disappoint
I was at lollapalooza and they performed Victory Song and Miroh and that was one of the highlights of my whole life!!!
SO lucky!!!
As one of the commenters who mentioned it before, thank you so much for trying to gesture where you're hearing everything. You've really made a difference for me 😊
My pleasure!
It’s incredible how all along I’ve been listening to their music and just hearing a lot of “noise” that I really love…but then seeing your reviews I’m actually HEARING all of the actual “sounds” that are making up each song. I have a new appreciation for Boxer…a song I’ve loved all along
If you liked the overlapping, harmonising voices in Chronosaurus, you NEED to watch the "Kingdom" performance of "Love Poem", by 'Mayfly' .
'Mayfly' was a temporary group made by combining three different KPop groups, two of whom you already know - Stray Kids and Ateez.
The best vocalist from each group (Seungmin from Stray Kids, Jongho from Ateez, and Eunkwang from BTOB) came together to sing this one beautiful song. Eunkwang is a decade older than the other two, and he arranged the song for the three of them, and mentored the two juniors.
It's the most vocally-impressive KPop performance I've ever heard. It's truly phenomenal.
Please, please, please react to it at some point!
_Edit 1:_ Note that there's two versions of it on youtube - one with reaction shots from the other teams, and one without. I prefer the one without reaction shots, because they interrupt the flow of the song. If you're the same, look for the one with the shorter video length.
_Edit 2:_ It's also more meaningful if you know that despite the name, it's not a romantic love song. 'Love Poem' was written by IU, a KPop soloist, after her best friend (another idol) committed suicide. It's a song that offers solace and support to those who are struggling with mental health issues, or going through difficult times.
if you ever need a quick chuckle, the boxer street vers. mv is... something else lol
love your reactions!
YES!!!
Clé is pronounced more like ‘clay’, but Miroh was spot on. The Korean word for maze is romanized into miro and they added the h to represent the theme of ‘hell’ that the introduced in their predebut mixtape.
I hope you know that none of us will be angry if you don’t like a song or two from one of the albums, but I’m also pretty confident you’ll find ways to appreciate them musically for what they are, even if they aren’t songs for you. And I don’t think there are any albums you won’t find at least 2-3 playlist songs.
My only suggestion for the slower songs is to take time after to check out the lyrics and meanings - because they write these slower songs to express something. When you get to the I am series… songs like Hero’s Soup and Grow Up probably won’t be your taste, but their lyrical content is important.
You also might want to listen to their japanese album THE SOUND
With Halloween Thursday would be funny to see you react to their Up All Night video - which is weird to suggest bc I REALLY appreciate the uniqueness of how your reactions are music focused. But it is a silly/absurd & very SKZ MV perfect for the season & for a quick reaction.
Is this the song that bangchan and changbin laughed Felix bcs he sings the song about light some lamp in low voices? 😂
Heads up, if you add any to your playlist, please make sure they're the ones from the albums called SKZ2020 and SKZ2021! They are re-recorded versions without an ex-member and these are considered the "correct" versions
this!
No es necesario entrar en esas polémicas
Man you're gonna have soooooo much fun listening to the album mashups. I know it.
This, I had not thought about suggesting them! Those are peak adhd coded
They would be so fun to see if he can pick out the bits and pieces of each song.
I mean, Entrance is actually a bit of a Mashup of the songs on this album, and he loved it. 😁❤️🔥
I never even thought of this but it's SUCH a great suggestion!!!
This is such a good idea!!
i LOVE the rockstar :o
12:52 This is why I love your reactions, cause here you are hearing screams and lasers and all my mind focuses on is Felix's voice 😂😂. But really though, you do help me to find an even deeper appreciation for their music than I have already so thank you!
I'm like you, all I focus on is the voices, and if the rhythm of the song makes me tune in 😅
Him calling out all the sounds and such is why I love listening to reaction videos. I love other people's perspectives, because I just don't notice most of the things being pointed out 😂😂
@maribel9156 And it's the same thing with say reactors who are hip hop/ rap fans before they got into kpop, it helps me appreciate even more the rapping and flows, things that I like but never know how to articulate, same goes for vocal coach reactors as well
Chronosaurus, Maze of Memories, and Victory Song are my top 3 for this album. When it comes to Stray Kids I only wish I had discovered their music sooner.
Because of your appreciation of their arrangements and their beats, I highly suggest some of their award show performances. Chris never just keeps the songs just like they are on the album. He is a genius when it comes to that sort of thing. Here are a couple that immediately come to mind:
Victory Song 2020 MAMA performance (Sparta theme performance)
Thunderous Christmas performance (this one still blows me away at how well it works--this one does have one of their slower Xmas songs before it, just fyi)
They have so many versions of many of their songs, especially Thunderous, it's crazy!
Thunderous variations- my favorite collection 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Please, please react to their performances❤😂
God yes 2020 MAMA Victory Song is a MUST
Yessss I’m always impressed by how SKZ is constantly reinventing their own songs to keep their performances fresh and interesting. For me, their S Class remix at VMAs 2023 in particular was just MINDBLOWING *chefs kiss*
I'm a baby stay and I am listening for the first time Stray kids's full albums. It's a pleasure know a lot of new songs whit you. Really it's totally another level of hear music. Greetings from Argentinaaa
Same
@@alexis33331 yeah!!! Baby stays!! I’ve been a stay for almost 2 years so if you have anything to ask I’m here!!!
Me too!!
Welcome! It's a great rabbit hole to fall down!
Me too! It bothers me a little bit that he's not going in the order the albums were released, BUT that's okay. It's nice to have someone to listen to it with since I don't know any other Stays :(
Wooo let's go!
Cle is French for key!
Thoughts:
Entrance: I don't think I've heard this before somehow. I love it! It's going on my playlist asap!
Miroh: The concept of this album is like a city jungle theme, miro is korean for maze, the h at the end is for heaven or hell. They're entering the jungle/maze, not sure where they're gonna end up but going anyway (from what I remember! Stays please correct me if I'm wrong!) It's a tiger! This is one of my all time fav songs by skz. I love the choreo too, they took inspiration from haka from New Zealand! I feel like this is the most birds/sirens/roars song I've ever heard XD I can't remember another fade out ending by skz (def doesn't mean they don't excist tho XD)
Victory song: this is awesome too! Felix intro! Skz performed this in MAMA 2020(?), an award show, and whoa they know how to put on a show! And this is definitely hype as a 'normal' live song too! "Listen to this victory song!"
Maze of memories: 4 seconds in XD that's amazing :) I find this song fascinating. It's weird and unusual, and I'm growing to love it. A newer find to me. There's so much rythm stuff going on I can't help but appreciate it. It feels like a guitar to me. (Voices in your head that you don't want to be in your head. May I suggest their song Voices? I am who album? It's almost a quote XD) Skz have always done what they want to do, and part of that seems to be some weird-ass songs. Love it!
As a non-native english speaker, I also appreciate the showing stuff with your hands. I sometimes struggle with listening comperhension when I'm tired, so that makes it easier for me to pick up what you're hearing.
Boxer: "Maybe we're gonna hear some boxing bells" when I tell you I got excited... XD Lee Know intro! I wouldn't be surprised it they put a kazoo in. I forgot about the meow! Jab, jab! Yes! Laptop member is Bang Chan! (I'm 16 minutes behind on the premiere because I keep pausing to write this comment XD) They have a street version music vidoe for this. It's hilarious and adorable (they're babies!)
Chronosaurus: this is one of my absolute favourites. I adore it. It has this undercurrent of power and, like, looming danger. I feel like I'm galloping so fast. Then the lighter section feels like I'm floating through air, and when the beat comes back in it's kinda like getting back on the saddle and going again. This song is a quiet kind of loud, instead of in-your-face kind of loud.
19: iirc this was written by Han (one third of 3racha). I never really got into this one. Now I gotta add this to my calm playlist.
For a suggestion: the rest of cle series, cle 2: yeallow wood and cle:levanter. Complete the trilogy.
❤ from Finland
Hello Kate in Finland! Thanks for watching and your comment!
Pots and Pans, Deep bass, and bird sounds. Must be StrayKids.😂😂😂
Awesome reaction again! I’ve said this before but you hear so many things I don’t, that it’s like experiencing the music all over again for the first time.
It’s actually bleeding over into other music now, I find myself listening deeper and getting more out of old favorites. So thank you!
I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Those EDM roots really shining through here. Im really thinking Miroh and I Am Not are gonna be your favorites of this era of SKZ. Different charms, but very them.
I know this is a little bit of a hassle to ask, but if you could listen to the version of these songs (or at least choose to playlist them this way) from the compilation albums SKZ2020 and SKZ2020 when you react to Mixtape, the I Am series, and Cle Miroh/Cle Yellow wood, it would be greatly appreciated. When they lost a member seemingly a bit messily, they were very pointed about rerecording his parts and distributing them to the remaining members. They released these updated versions on both of those albums as a way to distance themsleves from their former member and provide 8 member versions of their songs from before. Nothing in the mastering or anything changed at all, theyre just voice swaps, but it is important to them that we use the 8 member updated versions as they do not wish to be associated with their former member anymore.
All songs from Mixtape through Cle Yellow Wood (2018-2019) have been edited and distributed on the albums SKZ2020 & SKZ 2021 except: The intro tracks, Hero’s Soup (I am you), and Glow, School Life, 4419 (Mixtape). Note that Mixtapes 1-4 on Cle Yellow Wood were renamed: Placebo, Behind the Light, For You, Broken Compass.
SKZ 2020 & 2021 are not new albums song wise and you otherwise wont need to react to them. But they’re the proper versions of these songs now. It’s a little more effort, but its very important to the artists which is why they took the time and energy to rerecord 6 / (technically 7 including Cle Levanter which they were able to churn out before it dropped originally) albums. Thank you so much.
Ok. Tony needs to do a double reaction to both Cle 2: Yellow Wood & Cle: Levanter. Because the intro songs Road Not Taken & Stop are linked. Or he should just listen to them back to back later.
I was at the Sydney concert over the weekend and lucky enough to hear Miroh live. If you get a chance to see them live, do. Energy and performance off the (scoville 😜) scale.
Miroh is always a great song live ^-^
Miroh live and especially closing out a show will always be amazing. Stray Kids HOO
They rearrange their songs for some stage performances: Victory song in Sparta theme, Thunderous in a Christmas theme are 2 of the most different.
oh i hope christmas thunderous reaction will be our christmas present)
"The voice in your head that you don't wanna hear"
Side effect : do you talk about me?
Tony I would like to seriously and sincerely thank you for your videos! I’ve been a Straykids listener for a year and a half and it was only after YOUR videos that i realised i was missing so much! The reason being my little ear buds (I don’t have good headphones yet) just weren’t giving me what you were hearing! I’m a dumbass tho so after messing with some settings i found my buds had three modes ‘bass’ ‘balanced’ and ‘PURE’. I’d been listening on ‘bass’ sound for all that time because i’m a bass head but when i switched it to ‘pure’ i suddenly heard everything!!! All the little sounds and importantly, the direction they were coming from. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!! 🫶💖
Well done diving into the settings and finding the right one for you!
28:49 aaaaay, Channie!!! 💻 ❤️🔥
Gosh I LIVE for this Boxer appreciation!! Boxer is one of my all time favorites!! I just love the energy it gives, I'm always punching the air when I listen to it!! 🥊👊💢
Their songs are very intertwined with their music videos. For example Miroh's theme is running through a city jungle on the rooftops. Choreography is inspired by maori war dance. Its basically a battle cry in a form of a club song. They have smth similar but more rocky on their jp album The Sound called Battle Ground. I get that you are in for the music but i highly recommend watching some MVs. It somehow elevates the music by bringing it context
Oh and Intro songs are mashups of songs from the album or what I would call an album mood board. They stopped doing that after Go live and instead they are using mashups as a visual promotions before releasing the album.
& Miroh is my fav album of theirs. 19 is the only song i don't vibe to and also the only Hans song i don't like that much. I have left my teen angst decades behind
(last one i promise) I don't think you will like album "I am you" much but pls still post it. You might find My side and N/S interesting. Even stay like a b-side Get cool more than its title track. Except the live ballad version. Its raw and awesome. Levanter will be half & half. You will probably like first half and the other.. not so much

King of unpredictable thumbnails 👍
The way I cheered when you got Chan's name right!!
Wooo! Great album, so excited for more Stray Kids!
SKZ intro tracks go ridiculously hard for no reason. Basically all of them I'd want a 6 minute version.
Miroh's concept was "city jungle," hence the combination of city noises with animal sounds. There are more layers to it, but I've always liked their use of both as musical elements.
When it comes to structure in general, or how they end songs, just figure it's always intentional. They use fade outs sparingly, as a specific effect to the mood of the song.
😂 Your reaction to Maze of Memories did not disappoint!
During Boxer I had a flashback to your first Stray Kids reaction, when you were like, "How much can you really pack in to a 45 minute album?" and now we're at "We've got another minute?! We've only made it through 2 minutes of the song..." 😭😭🙏❤️ I love this journey so much.
19 is definitily the Stray Kids song i relate the most to. It's about being 19 and feeling the pressure of adulthood, of not knowing what to do with your life and feeling anxious because everyone seems to be moving forward, but you're still there and sometimes you wish to go back to being a child again.
I always enjoy your reactions the most, good job❤️
I'm a 48 year old mom who bonded with my then teenaged daughter over kpop many years ago, and became a Stay early on. My reactions listening to their music mirror yours, basically. She and I call each other when one of your new reaction videos post, because we are enjoying them so much. Thanks for the authentic and fair critique and for allowing us to join the ride as you become a fan too. Please keep the thoughtful content coming!
Aww thank you!
I absolutely don't think you're going to find a Stray Kids album you don't like.
I hope you're right. I don't want to upload a video where I dislike all the songs. Nobody would enjoy that.
@tonystocco did you watch Seungmin's first pitch for the dodger game yet?
19 is Han-pop!
The best!!
Hell yesssss🎉❤
I feel like we as a fandom tend to forget how iconic this album is? Like no wonder they had their first win with this, it's AMAZING
I love love LOVE how much you love skz music. Seeing you get so excited about the insane things they pull off rekindles my love for them too! Genuinely, thank you for doing these. Its so fun to listen to music for the first time again through your ears.
It was such a fun time live chatting with other STAYs. Your reactions are great!
highly reccomend the 'I AM' series of albums next, 'i am not', 'i am who', and 'i am you' all incredible, and so impressive considering they were their first three albums (excluding their pre-debut album mixtape) and they were all only 17-21 years old
16:10 OMG you’re talking about Paul Revere! The reverse beat effect. I love Stray Kids-and Beastie Boys was the original group that made me a music lover!
You're right "Paul Revere". Such a unique sound at the time.
What a great day, three reactions from Tony! What a way to listen to an album and really “hear” it. Sorry if I keep repeating myself, but you keep enhancing my ability to really listen for the sounds that make their music so enticing to my ears. Thanks again Tony, I am so enjoying this journey relistening to Stray Kids’ discography.
I love seeing a new video from you! One of my favourite early Stray Kids songs is: Stop. Also when it’s closer to Christmas you must react to their song, Christmas Evel. Another great reaction video. Thanks for sharing.
I saw them live in Sydney on saturday night. they were absolutely phenomenal!!!!!!!! 🔥btw love your reaction vids
We are getting to older albums, where all the intros are basically a mashup of all the major themes of the album, with a heavy almost dj-like sound to them that bangchan used to love to show off back in the day!! I personally really like thos style of intros!!!
The new skz mash ups are great as well tho
@sofiarolfranco3381 yeah but in older albums the intros were always very eletronic mixes of the other songs, while in newer ones they are full (And amazing! Some of their best fr) songs with their own beat, melody, topline and lyrics. The newer intros, for being full fledged songs, are also a lot longer (2:30) than the older ones, that are a bit shorter than average (1:30).
@sofiarolfranco3381 i think i was not clear enough, sorry 😅. I'm not talking about their remixes before launching the album (the ones where they make a whole production for and post on youtube), I'm referring to the actual first song on their albums. But now that you mentioned it, I would live to see him react to their remixes and mashups!!! They are so good!! They get better with every new album!!
@@ToothpasteVK I feel like their intro song has been replaced by those mashups that’s why I mentioned them
@@sofiarolfranco3381 yup yup
I was cracking up at your reaction to boxer. Just really enjoyable listening and seeing your reactions. Hearing all these songs in ear buds is such a game changer and I would have never done that if it weren't for you, so THANK YOU. Can't wait for more reactions!
Whenever I hear Entrance, I can just imagine Chan at his desk bringing all those sounds together!
Also, the remix of Miroh for Kingdom was so good, too. It could only be for a minute as their intro number for the show.
And it is always in my playlist, well, the SKZ2020 version. When it plays when I'm driving, I always look around when I hear the sirens, even though I've heard the song a million times 😂
Had to add that Chronosaurus is also one of my all time favs. Just love all these songs, really.
Miroh is about running into a jungle of hardship/hell straight on so there's a lot of references and sounds of jungle animals, there's also ref to bear grylls in the lyrics too.
28:44 Hahahaha yes, that’s our boy with the laptop. Speaking as a Chan stan, you’re really in it now 😅
Such a brilliant album, I’m so glad you like it! I think it really shows just how special 3racha and Chan are, because even when they were only teenagers and just starting out, it was clear how unique their style and production is.
I really want to see you react to Skz2020, it is a very long album full of their older songs that they redid after a member left, and it is really is just FULL of bangers. I especially want to see your reaction to Side Effects and YAYAYA!
Also I don’t think it will be too terrible if you ever find an album you aren’t as fond of, because we all can see how much you appreciate skz’s other music and their overall talent, and even when you don’t particularly like a song, you still point out what they did well and respect their work.
Can't wait to see what you'll react to next :)
Posted it for Tony but throwback days to 3racha back then

So talented
Looking forward to seeing him watching 3rd eye
I can't wait for "Side Effects". But yes, def 3rd Eye!!
One of my fav albums!! And one of my top songs is Chronosaurus. I can never get enough!! THX for this reaction, Tony!! BTW, you in a hat is kinda awesome. I say that with all respect toward an older dude, lol.
Thanks ! 😂
bang chan's sound file is full of han's screams, bells, sirens, bird and different animal sounds, honking things, and too many other weird sounds, lol
6:27 *me internally SCREAMING at the second pause before the “STRAY KIDS OO”*
29:33 THANK YOU, another person who understands how good Boxer is 😭 the ADHD friendly sounds, the theme and how every aspect of the song is curated for that. If you ever get the chance check out the "Boxer" Special Video as well. It works so well with the sound production of the song, has a lot of fun boxing inspired movements, and adds another layer to its enjoyment.

Chronosaurus is my absolute fav on this album!
Oh I am so excited to get there! I hope he liked it!
I think it's top 5 if not my number one favorite track.
I love it too!! It's very underrated and a lesser known song.
CLÉ 1: MIROH IS AMAAAAAZING
Chronosaurus always reminds me of one of my other favourite bands, Depeche Mode- specifcally the songs Little 15 and Pimpf. Its pretty different to other stray kids songs but thats one of the things i love about them- the exploration of different genres, all with their own twist.
Miroh goes so hard at kpop club night
Stray Kids are on a DominATE tour at the moment and they'll be coming to the city "near" you (North America) at some point next year. The dates and locations have not been announced yet. So if you have the money, time and will, go see them live. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. As always, loved your reaction to the album. It's always a pleasure.
"my boy with the laptop" 😭♥ so glad you appreciate Boxer
Coming from what I feel is a (relatively) similar music taste background to you, and a preconception of what kpop is - Chronosaurus is the song that made me fall for SKZ and into the rabbit hole in general. Just something about that track got me good. I mean then I watched the Red Lights video, sure, but I was already fully in
I haven't even started yet, but BRING ON THE HAWK SCREECHES!! I am SO excited!
I wanna see your reaction to the Boxer Street MV now😩
This was so fun to watch as always!! I just wanted to say that it's okay if you don't like a song or an album, with how many songs Stray Kids has it's only natural that that is the case. Thank you so much for your videos, I really enjoy them and I really value your honesty!
OMG??? ANOTHER SKZ VIDEO?? I feel blessed
ok… how many times can i say that tony’s reactions i love bc he allows me to listen to my faves song like it’s the first time… that’s like an immeasurable gift to give someone… tysm!!! ❤
Edit 1: You've not heard anything until you've heard tens of thousands of people in a concert screaming STRAY KIDS WOO. Stay will shake your feet with that yell. And while I haven't gotten to it yet in this reaction, "Chronosaurus" the 'time monster' is on all of my playlists. It evokes such a sense of anxiety and being overwhelmed and is so fun to sing along with, even when you're mispronouncing things all over the place. The layered harmonies are *chefs kiss*.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but please, please please do the long SKZ Guide. Their voices (each of them) really are another instrument. If it's super punchy, it's Changbin. If it's melodic and quick it's HAN. If it's deep and bassy, it's Felix like.... all 8 of them work so hard (and will often surprise you).
Chandora (on youtube) has a great guide - short or long. (think the short is like 30ish and the long is an hour-ish). Maybe for when you reach 10K subs?
Keep going! Yellow Wood is amazing i can't wait for you to hear side effects and my pace!
Immaculate reaction, as always. It feels like I'm listening for the first time again and it's magical.
Don't worry if there's an album/track that you don't like, Stayville really loves honest reviews and reactions, so don't feel pressured to upload only the good stuff, we want the not-so-good stuff too :)
And as another stay said, I really hope Chan finds your channel, I'm sure he'll appreciate it as much as we do
I absolutely love how you come at these tracks. You make us all just reevaluate each and every sound, tone, and voices on these albums, even though we've listened to these tracks incessantly for years.
You are spot on about how these tracks, while early in their career, truly can't be anything short of genius. Bang Chan and 3Racha are are effing brilliant.
Your reaction to Boxer was so fun to watch! Thank you! ❤
Boxer must be one of the most fun songs they made. It always lifts my mood. The person who said their previous albums are simpler, they said bullshit.
