it's insane how much better i can hear the details of their songs in a reaction video than in most of streaming platforms? like, HOW? i'm keeping up with all your uploads now and it's so nice to relisten to all off their records paying attention to all these missing noises and background sounds (i admit, i do not have the best earbuds here lol) and please ! we need you to react to The Tortoise And The Hare (a bside on the repackage album "IN LIFE") and Side Effects (title song on the album "Clé 2: Yellow Wood" - you're gonna go nuts. their previous works were even most experimental, in a time that they were still rookies in the industry, even before their '"boom"" in south korea... they faced a lot of blacklash for this in the kpop bubble at the time, but us - pots and pans enjoyers - kept the faith in them... and see were they are now !!!! anyways. thanks for another amazing reaction!

This is seriously so great. I really really love that you pick out these random noises and sounds. And baselines! Nobody else does that! It makes it so much fun and I really love settling in for a long video and listening super, super close along with you. It's reigniting that first listen feeling in so many of us. Thank you for giving Stray Kids a chance! Maxident is beloved by Stay, but often overlooked. It's packed on both sides by Oddinary and 5-Star who more often get all of the attention. It's my boyfriend's favorite album and I'm really glad you like it too! I promise, 3Racha and Taste completely destroyed Stayville at the time, so much so that they almost outshined the album itself. If you did like Superboard as much as I think you did, I'd really recommend the video too. It's just about a flying skateboard it's so fun 😂 Also, Give Me Your TMI is SO underrated and NO ONE ever talks about it so THANK YOU for singing its praises.

Stray Kids' use of sound with their voices and the music is just unbeatable. I think when you get to it, you will really like the music video for Super Board. It definitely has a retro rock vibe. Rock-Star and 5-Star both have some really amazing music.

I will forever stand by my belief that it was not JYPE that brought the Stray Kids members together. It was God. It could only be divine intention that eight men with so much talent and so much like-mindedness came together at just the right time to start experimenting and producing exactly the kind of music that a jaded industry needed. The music that so many individuals needed! You'll see many a story from STAYs (myself included), how, when they were at a major low point in their lives, heard a SKZ song that spoke right to their heart and shoved them right into the wild world of STAYVILLE. It had to be fate.

You are totally SPOILING US ROTTEN with all these reaction videos so frequently! I’m obsessed and I love it😁 Please do IN-Life next!! They have some experimental stuff (Tortoise&Hare) and some real quintessential SKZ sounding “classics” (Gods Menu, back door, Easy, and TA) I think it will help give you context before listening to their newer albums to appreciate their growth/maturity in sound. Just embrace the auto-tune on some tracks though 😉 they just use it for style and not due to lack of singing ability. The beautiful high falsetto that you heard during Taste was Lee Know. His voice is like honey, but he can also sound so strong, loud and gritty (you’ll hear it more in 5-Star and Rock Star albums). His singing was vastly underrated at first and his parts limited, but now he’s really starting to shine in his own right and get more singing/solo parts. He can really suit any style. Once you finish all the group albums, it’d be cool to get your reactions to their solo songs they release directly on their TH-cam channel. You can really start to see their individual personalities come through and how each member brings something unique and different to their combined sound. This was another wonderful deep dive with lots of insight into the nuances of their sound. More interesting comparisons to other songs/artists that I wouldn’t have even thought of. Keep them coming! Looking forward to your reactions to 5-star, Rock Star and In-Life!!

Watching a Stay being born makes me giggle... Your journey has started and it is a rabbit hole you won't regret. Once Stay has found your channel, you will never be lacking for recommendations, follows, and likes. We flock and are very supportive. And yes, the sounds very often defy expectation. They have created such a wide variety of music, different genres, that you really have no idea what the next song is going to sound like. And similar to MV, you never know which direction they are going to go with it. The thing is.... it is always fire. "They never miss" is a common reaction I've seen. They are genius composers/writers/producers, making it look easy. They have a love of word play and their lyrics are meaningful. They have something for every mood, including addressing taboo topics related to mental health. A lot of their themes are confidence building, also. They can all rap, and Han and Changbin are considered very top tier rappers in the industry for their unique flow (and what they can achieve with such breath control). They can all sing, and with wide ranges, not afraid of higher registers. And they can all dance. It is my understanding that the norm is different roles to be more clearly defined between the rappers, vocalists, dancers, visuals. Han is known as Ace of Kpop for his level of being an all-rounder, but honestly, everyone in the group are all rounders. The choreo is amazing (they do have a choreographer, but they do contribute to it). They pretty much never stop moving, changing formations, etc etc. The stamina alone is amazing. They have lots of stamina training for stable vocals while moving and they make it appear far easier than it is. The MV execution is amazing (the mind it took to design it and execute). And their stylists are also amazing. But what is most amazing is Stray Kids themselves. After you sample music, you ought to seek MVs, and don't skip dance practices--totally worth it. But also check out other content (there is hours and hours and hours of it readily available on TH-cam, personally, I went to work with little sleep for my first three months, lol). Variety show content and interviews. Stages (when they get stage at even just an awards show, they OWN it). Kingdom Legendary Wars (multi-stage competition show between six groups) is indeed legendary. K-Pop industry knows what they are doing when it comes to marketing. Content like this lets you get to know the idols, to fall in love with the artist, not only the result of that artist. Genius move, imo, and I'm glad for it (and TH-cam as a viewing medium). These guys are genuine good guys (and I wholeheartedly believe I am not naive about it). One of the things about them is that they are "unapologetically themselves" and this applies to their music and them in general. They are great role models, especially Bang Chan (best leader). In conclusion, for now... Welcome to Stayville!

So fun to go through the albums with you. I’m hearing songs I haven’t explored yet, as I tend to avoid the softer more pop sounding ones. for me case 143 has kinda cartoonish instruments 😂 and also, fyi stray kids love to do screams like that in their musics! <3 14:21 incredible how u found out the sound of glass with ice cubes because in the MV there's also a scene like that! and the MV is actually has references to Kingsman 24:41 I'm very glad that you like super board bcs I also love that song, many people usually found this song kinda weird bcs they saw the MV first and not paying much attention to the sound i think why ppl (including me) call this album has lighter sounds bcs of the title track 'Case 143' and maybe too much focus on the MV which has much different vibes than title tracks of their other albums which has darker vibes

YEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH MAXIDENT MY BELOVED!!!!!!! i legit screamed when i saw the thumbnail 🤣 i knew you would enjoy this one!!!!! it seems to slip under a lot of stays’ radars, but i LOVE this album and the range of sounds it has. i love when you slam pause after literally a second bc the start is so wtf 🤣 also, regarding skz albums: SKZ2020 and SKZ2021 are compilation albums of re-recorded songs from their first six albums (the <I AM> and <Clè> series’) that they did after a member left the group. just so if/when you start moving into their older stuff you don’t get confused by repeated songs, or if you wanna listen to the songs as part of their original cohesive project.

Me before Stray Kids- I funny do boys bands or kpop, it's boring. Me after Stray Kids- Just take all my money I liked hearing your take, I think you helped me to understand more of why i like them. I already knew I knew I liked how aggressive they can be. The members themselves tend to put a more positive public image, often cute and funny, but the music is aggressive, with a bit of an angry vibe, and lyrics that say "we aren't taking shit from anyone", which i find so very relatable. I'm generally a positive person, publicly but I have this undercurrent of rage. As you said, there is a lot of contrast. Like Taylor Swift they lean heavily into their own feelings and experiences, which I find very relatable. It was great hearing you genuinely, knowledgably praise the producers since Stray Kids do it all themselves, under the leadership of Bang Chan. Chan has created an environment that encourages all the members to try new things, develop their abilities and then they use all of that. As one of their songs says "Welcome to the Stray Kids hot Megaverse."
