I have two Audio Technica turntables. One is a AT-LP120 that I keep setup with a 78 cartridge. The other is a AT-LP140XP with the regular 45/LP cartridge.
Hey Mike, I also live in Southern California and also go to estate sales looking in part for records. I like CDs and VHS most myself. Hope to see you around one of these weekends. *edit: and I also use the iPhone maps by searching “thrift stores” and choosing “near me”. I also have shopped at “eco thrift” many times and yea same experience as you
@@MikeFindsThings I know it really bothers me when I enter a thrift shop and see they are the kind that doesn’t have a system of phasing out the old non-selling merchandise. You can spot it a mile away at CD and Vinyl shelves and bins. Luckily my local thrift shop calimesa Deseret has a monthly phasing out system
I have a Bill Haley 78 on Essex in the collection. I still grab minty 45s on Decca when they pop up cheap. I did find a Japanese pressing of R-O-C-K about six months back.
🎼Let's get the algorhythm 🎶🎵going! ...Got a minty copy of the Byrds LP but need a nice copy of the "Ferry Cross The Mersey" soundtrack! It's not that easy to find nowadays... I did just find the R.B. Greaves and Miss Ann-Margret LPs at the GW store today (both about EX@$1.64ea). ...I do like the Sunshine Company LPs! Have the "Help" soundtrack but don't remember (and don't really care) what pressing it is... Do have the J&D "Drag City" LP and recently found the J&D "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" LP (VG+) at our local GW store...
Mike,I looks forward to seeing what you have every Monday. I'm a huge collector as well 78's 45's and LP's 40's 50's and 60's. Good finds!

Those records at Eco Thrift will be there for years or until unsupervised children destroy them.

Bill Haley Decca 45s are a dime a dozen, but the earlier label he was on Essex Records ,Bill Haley and the saddlemen are harder to find.

I found the Little Old Lady From Pasadena LP about a year ago with a bunch of surf 45s. Thanks.
