    Beautiful estate sale items. Yes, I would definitely hang a picture in my home with water spots. Not that I want them that way…but they do tell a story. I have several in my home now with them. One of my favorite pictures was made in limited amount for the city of Paris, France. And one day I threw some water at my hubby (having fun) and I got a little water under the glass. It definitely tells a story.

      Thank you! I love how you see the beauty and story behind imperfections-it gives items so much character and charm. Your Paris picture sounds amazing, and the story behind the water spots makes it even more special! It’s little memories like that that make a house feel like home. 😊

    That new in the box tea pot was from the 70’s my mom had one like it we used it for years then in the late 90’s she put it on the wood stove with water and Vicks vapor rub for us in the winter when we all had a bad cold. Great old memories

      Wow, what a wonderful memory! It’s amazing how something as simple as a teapot can hold so much history and nostalgia. I love hearing stories like this-thank you for sharing!

    I love your videos. You find the neatest spots. Wow, I bet getting some of the wood from that house would be great.

    So much fun watching your channel as I grew up in VaBeach back in 70s so some of the houses remind me of my childhood 😊

      That’s amazing Karen! I love hearing how these houses bring back memories for you. Virginia Beach has such a rich history, especially in the older neighborhoods-so glad my videos could take you back to those times! 💛

    I feel like their prices were very high for a “must clear out everything” situation. Hopefully they will have screaming deals on the last day.

    Your camera was pointing down lower than usual so a lot you were talking about couldn't be viewed.

    It looks like the owners just keep building additions with no rhyme or reason. I wonder how many people have fallen down those stairs?

    • @thecarolinabungalow
      @thecarolinabungalow  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha, it definitely had a quirky layout! Those stairs did look like a bit of a hazard. I’m curious too-hopefully no one’s taken a tumble! Thank you for watching! 💛

    I wonder if such amount of stuff is from an only one house ... Really, why people in EEUU need such huge houses to live in , For me, as an european person , it doesn,t make sense, please let me know why 🤔🤔🤔

    • @Chelliel1992
      @Chelliel1992 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is a lot more land in the US than in Europe so homes are larger. And then they get filled with stuff over the years.
