It’s a glittering generalization or platitude. Most people identify as a collection of thoughts, which are generated by the mind. It’s impossible to master it since we are downstream from it. One in a million can go beyond the mind entirely and identify as consciousness itself. That’s not his teaching though. Fearing suffering is inescapable. Life is ultimately suffering. We are driven to strive for the basics - if we don't do this, we suffer horribly. After spending time in a hospital recently and witnessing first hand the "horror" in that place, trust me, FEAR suffering.
Buddha said it a thousand years ago. Sadhguru loves the sound of his own voice but his teachings are superficial and he makes money off of saying vague platitudes. Buddhist teachings are free and contain more knowledge and direct actionable advice than this joker

I have been practicing for 4 years, I have been to Isha Institute of Inner Sciences several times. In fact I even moved to Tennessee just to volunteer and help other people. Until now I have not seen or heard him say to anybody that they must worship him. Please stop spreading misinformation just because you’re religious. @@CS-xn6vb It's not that people don't know it already. Of course we do. But just like we are often not Aware of the simple action of breathing, inhale/exhale, until someone happens to remind us so that it becomes conscious to us, otherwise it is not entirely clear to the average person- Humans make all types of excuses and conclusions, "this is the problem, that is the problem." We complicate, getting further from the truth. So when you are panicking, and someone says to just be aware of your breath, then that is a profound thing for many people.
I did Sadhgurus 7 step program called "Inner Engineering" in 2018 where I learned a very effective meditation practice and other smaller practices to bring balance and wellbeing to my mind and emotions. It has been incredibly transformative. I overcame mental blocks and mental baggage - even stuff that bothered me since childhood. Few examples: Other peoples opinion always were a big factor for me which drastically reduced, almost vanished. It is such a freedom. I don't need to chase big experiences outside anymore (partying, traveling, sex, alcohol etc.) and then feeling disappointed/empty later on - because my present experience became good enough. No matter how many tasks and deadlines there are at my workplace I can remain calm and focused. Just because of the practices and tools of this program. 100% recommendation :)
I found him 2 years into my journey of transformation which was around 2021 2022 and he was the perfect teacher for that time in my journey. Can still listen to his speeches anytime. I prefer him in a solo setting tho without the interview. I was obsessed with listening to him for a couple years and then my journey led me to a different teacher. Since I started in 2019 I have progressed through many great teachers all coming at the perfect time and all leading me to the next. I was 30 before my eyes were opened. Inner Engineering truly feels like a miracle for well-being. Thank you, Sadhguru❤
May I ask if you’ve visited his institutes & progressed from his methods or did you find your own material elsewhere in regards to ‘inner engineering’? TY

Once you complete the program, you don’t need any other material. They have free sessions online and in person for correction if any help is needed. It is truly a life-changing process.

Sadhguru really nails it when he talks about soil health-it’s like he’s shining a light on things that should be obvious. It makes you wonder why so many experts have missed these key points. We need to step up now to fix our planet’s health, not just for the Earth, but for us too. Let’s all focus on taking care of our environment for a better future!

I catered a large event for these people (ISHA) in the Bay Area. Approx. 2800pp for 2 days. Very particular menu. I worked with mostly Indian volunteers. A lot of engineer types. Very nice people. I didn't know anything about them prior. I read that they might be a cult. They were a bit culty but in a good way if that makes sense. We did a great job for them and provided excellent food and service. The man I dealt with most during the planning gave me a big warm bear hug after it was over. I appreciated that!
Sadhguru's inner engineering totally transformed my life. I have immensely benefitted from all the yoga and meditation tools Sadhguru offers. They are truly amazing! My heartfelt gratitude🙏
Thank you for showing me this amazing human BEING, Theo. I love his wisdom. There are not many people I can listen to for 2.5hrs straight, but he was a pleasure.

Theo ! You keep outdoing yourself. Your sincere curiosity is magnetic…. and, only you could get Sadhguru to sit down to talk in jeans, a sweatshirt, a hat, and shades. Mad respect ! Onward… to watching the Pod.❤
Theo resonates with his base, and interviews so well, because he never ever plays the smart guy. Truly open and interested in what his guest have to say, and never ashamed to ask what something means.

It's truly over the top that I, for the first time in about a year tapped back into Sadguru just the past 2 days specially for loneliness, depression and mental health . And in the past few weeks, I have watched Theos videos starting with Trump interview then onto all his personal accounts on recovery, struggle with relationship and mind etc. What's the chances they are together now. I was initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra, part of Inner Engineering, around 10 years ago. Since then, Sadhguru’s teachings have guided me toward living more consciously. This ongoing transformation has been profound, and I highly recommend Inner Engineering to experience inner transformation through Sadhguru’s guidance.
I was a struggling alcoholic before I found inner engineering. I had gotten a dui and my life was on a dangerous, self destructive cycle. Inner engineering changed my whole perspective on life. It’s been a little over a year, and I still come to tears when I hear Sadhguru speak. If you’re struggling, PLEASW give inner engineering a try! I was a huge skeptic when i found it, but i gave it a try. One of the best decisions of my life.

Sadhguru’s wisdom is unbelievable. The world is living in a mess of imagination and ignorance and it’s amazing to get to hear some real and true words! And Theo as usual, what a wonderful interview 🙏🏼
The combination of Theo's genuine open mindedness and ability to respectfully stay funny and explore and SadhGurus worldvision is just a cocktail of Great Podcasting. 30 minutes into the Pod and its going exactly as I expected it to be
it’s a lot better to live free of it. I’ve suffered a lot-I won’t sit here and qualify my traumas, but I’m no stranger to suffering. I live with it daily as a disabled vet with BPD and a chronic illness nicknamed the suicide disease. I lived in fear of the suffering and pain for years. Now, after years of being sick and in pain, I’ve acknowledged and accepted it in an almost intimate way. Do your best and don’t live in black and white thinking. Nothing, or nobody for that matter, is a lost cause. Suffering, and life, is what you make it. I’ve learned that there is always always something to be grateful for. Suffering will come. Don’t fear it, accept it; that is the only way you’ll ever have peace. And remember, without suffering, you can’t have a redemption story. I spend my days, though mostly bedridden, trying my hardest to dance my way through hell. I live by strict “one day at a time” policy for myself. I don’t let my thinking time travel. I focus on the moment and focus on my breath when I get overwhelmed. Meditation makes it all possible. Don’t give up. There’s a million ways to meditate-find a way. Commit to yourself and your wellbeing. You’re worth it. You’re doing your best every day. Remember that and give yourself grace. Accept what you cannot change, change what you can. Trust yourself, your gut and your wisdom. You’ve gotten yourself through everything before and you will get yourself through this. I promise. ❤
You literally just wrote a love letter to YOURSELF....especially the last part. If you have deeper thinking you will understand that it was your subconscious writing that out but really all your doing is telling yourself that things will be just fine. Keep on rolling brother.
So glad to see Sadhguru doing more interviews! I've done a couple programs at Isha in Tennessee and they've been life changing. He's an incredible presence in the world.
@lefthookouchmcarm4520 maybe "charlatan" is a strong word, he's not spouting total nonsense, but a lot of what he says is a muddy interpretation of Buddhist teachings that have been around for generations. He's selling a bad version of profound teachings that are free. He's a capitalist first and foremost.
This is really sweet. Theo is the perfect guy to ask the questions because he gets to the meat of it without any attachment-and that makes the learning that much better. Thanks Theo!
Great to hear this Theo! I practice Shambavi and other tools of Inner Engineering regularly which keeps me very energetic and exuberant. This helped me a great deal in my material success. More importantly it has bought fulfillment in my life. I wish everyone experiment with the tools of Inner Engineering. "An ounce of practice is worth a ton of theory"
he talks to people to try and get to the Truth of who people are. Theo does this because he’s genuinely interested in how others think and do what they do. not too help the Country get back on track. yes he had Trump and Vance on his show and he also asked Kamala and Walz to come on. If you say that Kamala and Walz didn’t go on Theo’s podcast because they don’t care about the American people because Trump and Vance did you are more unintelligent than I previously thought. Who knows why, it could have been scheduling or 1000 different things. BUT If Kamala would have come on the pod you’d be talking shit on Theo. It’s just how simple minded ppl think. All you believe is what you think is true, not what is actually true. Yea Theo loves this country, but he does not interview certain people to try and prove a point. This is what you fail to understand.
I can't tell if Theo is trolling or not. Sadhguru's teaching has done phenomenal things to me in my life. I was an alcoholic life wasting man before I began following his teachings.

I mean come on... I understand people are always skeptical but this is just getting ridiculous. This man is legitimately giving his life to do what is needed to help the world. It's as if in people's eyes it's impossible to do something higher than the purpose of finances alone, money money money. No... it's about you, and you. I always find it strange and funny how people are unable to see past money. Money is a commodity, useful to get things done, but people shouldn't let it get to their head or it becomes a disease... Please don't believe everyone has the same disease. Look at the work.
Great. I’ve been into sadhguru for a long time. And 99 percent he has great interviews. But it was odd . When he went in Rogan I was pumped . But sadhguru was off that day. It wasn’t joes fault. Fearing suffering is inescapable. Life is ultimately suffering. We are driven to strive for the basics - if we don't do this, we suffer horribly.
After spending time in a hospital recently and witnessing first hand the "horror" in that place, trust me, FEAR suffering.

100% recommendation :)

it’s a lot better to live free of it.
This is the greatest crossover ever and it further reaffirms why I love and have chosen Theo.

My two worlds collide! 😭💜 Thank you for having him on!
I'll call it Vidambna of my life 😁
I have been tuning in with sadhguru for about 9-10 years! Love how humble Theo is, and even though he had trouble keeping up with the info, he was super intrigued and respectful! I loved thisssss 💕✨✨✨
Wow you are killing it with the spiritual / metaphysical healers lately 💯💯💯 New fan ❤️🔥
The body is just a vehicle for the soul to get around on the earth. Your soul is endless. You are beyond your physical body.
I want to do Sadhguru’s 7 day program ❤❤❤❤
That was excellent. Thank you 🙏🏽
You are a prime example of a phony
‘Emotions are frictious conditions’ what an unbelievable and simple insight
❤
Few mins in. Such an endearing dynamic between the two. More people that Listen to Sadghuru, the better
I'm so glad that these two have met and shared their conversations with the world.
Thank you both for efforts to improve the consciousness of humanity through this platform.
Peace, Love, Respect.
I can’t be the only one that is rooting for Theo and this lady to fall in love…

Theo von adds light to my life every week!
This must be the second or third time I have been watching Theo's podcast. What a wholesome and curious host he is. Let's the guest talk, hears with patience, and open to learn.
Always appreciate Theo’s comfort in admitting when he doesn’t follow or understand something his guests are explaining.
06:14 "so you're like a sorcerer?" 😂💖
Right before that “do you actually hit the ball or just imagine it going into the hole” 😂

He is, and he murdered his wife
Wow, Theo. Your guests are so diversified and it’s interesting to tune in on any given week man.
Theo has a lot of natural intelligence, maybe hes not formally educated but he understands things without much complication. I think he absorbs a lot of what sadhguru says because he doesnt make up meanings to things, he listens very closely to what the speaker is trying to say. Very good student I say
"Do you actually hit the ball, or do you just imagine it's in the hole"
lmao
it's funny how he didn't get the joke at all

Stop screaming. The man's a fake. Not worth even a mutter
@@Omegamega1313 are you south indian christian? Grow up
@a_nayak
Grow up? But how shall I do that? I'm an older white American who has seen things about spiritual leaders in this country, both white and Native American, that would make your skin crawl. I've seen enough, up close and personal, that I know the stink of them. It's very distinctive. This guru has that stink. He's perhaps not as evil as the men I knew, but close enough. So, do tell, how would you advise me to grow up? Perhaps you should do some growing up before you presume to advise me. I'll wait...

I can't help you with all those questions in the TH-cam comment section. You'll have to bring them to the Creator, because the answers would lead you to knowledge of him anyway. So, just look to him first. That's what I recommend.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT SADHGURU ON 👏🌍🙌🌱🙏
Why? The guy's a total con artist. I'm sure he'd go anywhere for free stuff. He has never done anything but talk and everything he says is complete bullshit. It's easy to get people who are attention whores. They can't live without it.
#legit
Sadhguru is a sham. Use your critical thinking skills, please.
@@gardenia77 Agreed, total sham. Can't believe all the Americans who think this guy spouts true wisdom. Shows how easily manipulated people are.
@willzinc6137 Scary.
Discovered Sadhguru from Joe Rogan, and have been waiting for another podcast to talk to him ever since. So glad for this Theo!
