I surprisingly got hired by a company who I thought was not impressed by my interview. I took it as a positive nod from the universe when I got the job. I accepted the position and felt like it was going to be great fit. 4 months in, I’m regretting it. The environment is like a fraternity, the gal who was supposed to train me in did a lackluster job, but tends to other employees like they’re family, my manager is passive aggressive, and I feel like hardly none of my coworkers are trying to connect with me no matter how I try to connect with them. A principal, I know, will be retiring soon but along the way he has been harassing many good teachers and creating a toxic environment. He doesn’t do all of it directly, but he has his minions, the assistant principals do the bullying.

I really don't want to be in a position of such responsibilities anymore. Mind you i have zero issues with my job or issues such at attendence never had an issue.
I was told i either accept the "extension" of my role. Or i am no longer needed at the company.
I told them , no worries ill do it ..
My manager texted me "sorry bro for that was beyond me"
I told him to stop texting me after hours . I am most definitely fucking off there. And i came to the realization?!

The final straw was being called a "dipshit" over something that I was specifically instructed to do on Friday, over a group message, that made me feel like I was having a heart attack.
I'm glad that my exit went as smoothly as it did, and I went almost exactly by the script that was laid out here. I offered more professional courtesy than this owner likely deserved, but that's for my own pride. Same as all of the hard, skilled work that I brought to the table.
