The BEST thing you can do to support my work is to watch this video for as long as possible without skipping ahead. This will make TH-cam recommend this video to more people. Let's spread more earthquake awareness around the world, together! :)
Excellent! Is it possible that there will be less damage to the end sections of the suspension bridge if decoupled or isolated from the land abutment in senário 4/4?
Even if BCB isn't perfect, it helps show that suspension bridges are more robust than one would think from their thin members. Notes beyond Test 1 would help put the differences of wave type, intensity, etc. into relation on your MMI header images IMO! Maybe they're all 3G / 3G+ but not sure what makes Tests 2, 3, and 4, different. Keep up the excellent work!
this is so cool! it would be helpful to add a smaller structure like a building here nearby to help us grasp the scale and damage difference between smaller and bigger structures!
really cool simulation. I'm just curious if it would be possible make the road angled slightly like an arch to cancel out the sagging, that way it could stand better without the middle pilar.
those semis bouncing up and down are awesome. They must not have a load. The cars falling off the bridge into the the water--that's gotta be pretty hard water for them not to sink. ;)
Why that bridge have a additional beam at the middle? I never saw a bridge with that weird thing, but just nice to watch and i always like the non-destructable trees 😁

Always do. 🙂

I ll send this to my contacts. It s worth the watch
Pls do more cities such as Oslo, New York, Paris, London, Moscow and Rio!
side note, suspension bridges are built for huge gaps without needing a support pillar in between the main towers. regardless, great vid as usual!
Yeah I was wondering about that too, though it looks like the bridge would have supported itself fine if the middle structure wasn't there
@@techno7467yeah, the bridge actually did do that. So why that ugly support beam?
@@alexlongstaff2885 added margin for error
I love the addition of semis! Added a nice touch!

2:21 thats a suspension bridge
Thank you for simulation!:)
you are very welcome! 3G!! almost 3.17 :)
Hi, love your vids. Keep them coming. 🙂
thank you friend!
Is starting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are very right about that!! I can remake this simulation and add some buildings
@EarthquakewSim would be fun to see it again. Can you put motorcycles in the traffic? I drive one
Great idea!!!
Keep up the great work! :D
This has to be one of your most advanced experiments yet! Amazing job!
It’s a good job it’s Winter and your lake has frozen over as the cars hitting it didn’t sink ! LOL 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Beautiful!!! This bridge reminds me on denmark. It has 3 of such bridges. The biggest I ve crossed by train one time.
Nice Simulation
thanks for watching!
Sick vid as always my man! Keep up the good work! Btw how long does it take to make a vid like this? (Just curious)
Embrace your inner Hollywood and do the Golden Gate Bridge.

Should do an aftershock video where a structure survives a major earthquake but will it survive the aftershocks that proceed it?
Woah, I can’t believe it! Pls make Times Square, 9.3 Magnitude Earthquake.

check the Bay Area bridge it has the same thing :)
Earthquake Sim i Have a suggestion You should have a team of editors It would help make videos faster
Please simulate an earthquake in a big city
I made a simulation like that
@@EarthquakeSim but it's a bigger city. thanks for everything
@@EarthquakeSimif they look on your channel they should find it. It s one of the newer
Nice
Is it me or did the cars bounce because of the cables
Scenario 2 of 4 is the most interesting and realistic
Is biggg!
I like it!
I dont understand the 4 scenario?. Which is the mean?.
Wait alot of these are only a couple minutes ago?!
yes all these comments :)
BROOO.... JUMPING CARS?!!!
Lol 300th view-
Wait no 286th.
haha! TH-cam must know how to count for sure :D

is this an bridge in thailand or its inspired by the bridge?
3/4 structure resonance or 4/4 weaker?
please make a 10G(or 5G) simulation
Dont exist in our planet. It would be like a F1 aceleration.
How do you know?
I think if an megatrust earthquake is right beneath you maybe 3G is possible but 2 is often indeed the max
Sorry i dont watch your video because im busy all day😢
The truck in the 4/4 jumped 8 m lol
it looks like the Russian Bridge in Vladivostok
or Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge in St. Petersburg
10/10 +like 😊
