You should have her go to the movie theater over in San Sequoia. Yes, it's a rabbit hole but it's a cool experience and some of the films they show are the same ones Neoma will be making as she moves through the career. Once she's done a few movie gigs and has kids, you could take them to the cinema to see mom on the big screen.

Maybe get her a bike to get fitness up since it doesn't trigger the fatigue response in a lazy sim and will get Neoma's fun up super fast. And yes, you can still get promoted if you send her to work and have her work hard. You do need to hit certain milestones in order to pass the aspiration. Hope this helps.
