As a professional artist, I used to teach calligraphy, and just to prove the critics of the Biro ballpoint pen wrong, I'd enjoy listening to the ghasps, ooh's and ash's, as I demonstrated how to produce exquisite Copperplate with the ubiquitous Biro. All great fun, but mostly it was about teaching people to even correctly hold a pen. These days I'm horrified at the way people 'grasp' rather than dextrously articulate a pen.
All fountain pens must be "broken in" before the knib will become adapted to its owner's writing style. This is why the older generation will never let anyone else borrow their personal fountain pen! ...it's also why those in the know will always prefer a gold knib, because its softer metal allows the knib to better adapt to your writing style.
I think you meant the TWSBI Go, not the TWSBI Eco.
And the Parker looks awesome-great eye candy in the video!
Beautiful handwriting. It's great to see people still using fountain pens which were largely replaced by ball pens.
Thank you very much. And the fountain pen community is not the biggest, but not small by any means.
@@WritingDelight As someone who grew up using fountain pens and still owns/uses some of them, I am so glad to hear that.

I’ve found this pen on sale. Still trying to decide. Thanks for the video.
I hope I could give you some insights into this pen. 🙂

Hi Chris. Are you a retail store?
No. I am a person. 😉
And I do not have a store or shop.
