not really true vs owl or monk pre 50% hp, they shrug off parries and you fuck over your posture after parrying like 3 swings
You loose posture if you parry no matter what. However you never break posture if you parry. Your positive bar will always go up no matter if you block or parry. Posture bar can only break on a block
Some atacks are mkre rewarding to dodge and make you land 2 hits wich is better then a single deflect

@From Maui not true man. You still lose posture on perfect deflection - but your posture can never be broken in a perfect deflection. So it'll max out and break at the first imperfect deflection - unless you're a supernaturally gifted in timing deflection.

Welp that's why you don't rez immediately. Moat bosses back up and give you space after you go down. Wait a bit then rez, you can usually get up and heal before they do anything else.

In the new update 1.05, he does a quadruple head but 😆 which is followed by a flame attack. I said quietly to myself you know what I got chu hijo de p... Son of a b... In English and I went to farm for skill point for a whole weak to get my attack power to 50 just to go back to him and get my ass cheeks clap and I took a break and haven't gone back 😆

That scream for help at the end sync so much with the character. It’s like watching a lost ancient footage of a man who soo desperate, just lost it shield, and saw the fireball still coming his way, his body mic still function till his last breath while being recorded by his friend who knew that he was beyond saving and all that shit was a bad idea and the only thing he can do is recorded his friend’s last word during the fight.
I feel like this boss is the sentient incarnation of all Afros rage, and hatred this game has made him build up over this time. Lol

Things I feel you deserve to know:
-You cannot stack sugars.
-Using the umbrella followup attack removes divine confetti buff.
-When sekiro is smoking (like at 12:40 or something), the umbrella is ready to release a supercharged attack. It adds a projectile.
-You can block his wave of fire goundpound thingy (11:07 for reference) with the umbrella, and get a free supercharge. The projectile can reach him from any distance.
-You are not alone in this struggle; everyone who fought this beast legit has gone through what you are currently, and you have our support.
-Don’t quit, you’re so close!

Monkey.D Luffy, don’t agree with you with bringing on nothing special, I’ve played through 5 times and i can still discover new things, it has a bunch of mechanics that shows how different it is from the other From Software games.
For example, the grappling hook, required to deathblow mini-bosses and main bosses several times, the posture mechanic, the prosthetics, Is A LOT more fast paced than the other From Software games, and last but not least, ACTUAL MOVING MOUTHS.

My advice is (I know it's hard) but don't panic and dodge/block blindly without knowing what the enemy is doing cause most of the attacks are almost scripted I think, or that's what it seems like cause they follow you. Most of the time you can keep your guard up until you know what attack is next and dodge only when you're about to be hit, kinda like deflecting but with the dodge action
The thing that keeps me going at times like that is making progress. Like when he learned about jumping to avoid the sweep attack.
And when he made it so close to beating phase 2! That’s the time when you keep pushing!

a bit of a tip, you can avoid most of his melee attacks by ruunning diagonally counter-clockwise and sticking to his foot, and as for the fire balls, dont block or evade, just run sideways

Sword saint will almost guaranteed be easier for him. DoH isn't comparable at all to sword saint isshin and owl foster father. He's straight up a Bloodborne boss. He beat owl foster father so my guess is isshin won't take that long.
I actually beat the demon of hatred quicker than i was able to kill ishin. Larger enemies have always been easire for me cause theor attacks are more telegraphed

Large enemies are easier to react to(usually), can't say small enemies are harder though. You can stagger most human sized enemies and punish their attacks(deflecting, mikiri, high monk).

And Afro never finished Bloodborne.. so this being damn near final boss. Would be like afro fighting one of the harder BB bosses. He's stuck on like the 3rd or 4th BBB.. hope he figures it out.

Another thing with Malcontent-whistle is that it won't work if demon is in middle of attack animation, but thankfully only attacks that connect are counted towards it's "Immunity counter". No need to be afraid of mistakes.

Ive found in Sekiro that using special weapons is just icing. You can beat them using just the sword. I beat the Demon of Hatred with no weapons or consumables. No Aiko Sugar, Divine Confetti, Pellets... nothing. Got a perfect on the first health bar and used the gourd a total of 4 times. After I learned his strategy he was SUUUUPER easy. Only problem is when he hits he hits HARD. So you may slip once and it'll be over. But he became so pathetically easy I laughed when I beat him.
