So sorry for your loss. Its great that she had you as a parent and you took her to shows and showed interest in her music and stuff. That means more than you probably know. I'm sure she was lucky to have you in her life. Best wishes.
It's crazy to remember back when Fragile Future came out I thought their sound had changed dramatically, and while I loved it, it + Skeletons felt like it strayed further away from what I loved about The Silence in Black and White. I even thought If Only You Were Lonely lacked the magic the first album had despite loving it to death... I stopped keeping up with them, checked out Zero, Hope/Hate and liked the odd song but kind of fell out of love with them. Fast forward to a few months ago when I decided to check out The Rain Just Follows Me and nearly bawled my eyes out at how good it was, Casey would be pround of those screams. I decided to listen through all their stuff again after and couldn't believe how consistent they've been, their sound evolved but it's always been Hawthone Heights, rediscovering everything after Lonely again has been literal nostalgic magic, what a band
I remember hearing about these guys through music choice on Comcast and MySpace. Bought my friend's iPod nano in middle school and he had this band and their song "Ohio Is For Lovers". Blast that song on repeat for days.
They have been consistently good throughout their whole career. Writing songs and lyrics that apply to their current stage in life. Songs that the fanbase that has grown up with them can relate to.
My bois Hawthorne Heights still have it. And good job Pure Noise for making Pop Punk still breathing. It was supposed to be Hopeless but they have strayed from the path. Pure "Pop Punk" Noise Records.
Pure Noise is even getting pop punk bands, like real ones, back on the radio! I heard girlfriends' "High Again" last week. They're really working hard at this.
They strayed from the path, or bands like ADTR, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals and the like have been putting out less music. If something doesn't make money or a person happy, there's no longer a reason to do it 🤷
I love these boys, I remember ditching school growing up just so I can buy the albums when they came out. I’m so happy I was able to see them with emery for the 15yr anniversary of their albums. Keep it up boys, I’ll never miss a show
Thought I’d never hear HH release anything I’d love ever again after 2012~ ish. First listen in 2008- still 2022 wish I never stopped listening. Miss HH. Miss Casey Calvert. Miss my fallen friends. Rest In Peace. Carry on or Just slow down 💪🫡🖤

One of my favorite bands til death. Sound great live. I saw and met you guys at six flags New England back in the day when I was a teen. ment a lot even though I had nothing to say, you guys were really nice and I hope I get to meet you guys again as an adult and have an actual conversation. Love you guys.
The cup labelled "Never Sleep Again", the 2005 Bayside/HH tour on which Baysides van flipped and they lost John Beatz had me all kinds of fucked up. Then with in the first few lines of the song there was a reference to winter, the acoustic song Bayside released in the aftermath of the tragedy... shit is heavy, man.
God my favorite band growing up and my cousins was bay side God how I wish he was still here to see this this song means so much to me now I'll miss my cousin forever he was the closest thing to a brother I ever had
Casey, you are still not forgotten! You'll never be!
I love how the hanging mic is still around. It's iconic
The hanging mic kept me watching the video.😂😂🤦
Too bad Ohio isn't real..
🤣💀 right
STILL TRASH
the music is trash
My daughter loved your music, She's gone now, rip at 23, but when I took her to your show years before , its a part of me now..
Sorry for your loss.

HH, Bayside, and Senses Fail are my early high school experience 🖤

Me too
Ohio isn't real..just moved to KCMO from cincy.
I fucking miss my friends
Saw them all together last year
@@twiztinupblunts4031 same, but Anthony blew his voice out, so Bayside dropped out 🥲

Uhh it hits hard
When the singer speaks he's in his 30s, when he sings he's a teenager again!
one of my favorite of all. JT great American songwriter!!!!

I use to play electric guitar along to silence in black and white… and I’d have a mic hanging too :)
