This band makes me miss high school, miss falling in love in H.S, skateboarding with friends and having bonfires in my yard. This is exactly what i need at age 36. Thank You!
So nice that they’ve stuck to their older sound. A lot of the bands we listened to as kids are making music but I feel they’ve changed their sound too much trying to be something they aren’t.
Care to recant a story of those glorious high school days? I was walking in the rain with an umbrella once on a weekend because I wanted to go outside and couldn't skate. My friends pull up behind me on a random industrial road with their hand-me-down e36 wagon. We drove around all day doing dumb shit like tray sliding and skimboarding in puddles. I remember the sun coming out with a rainbow while we had some classical playing. Wonderful moment
Hawthorne Heights was a stepping stone band for me into heavier music. This is a cool song that brings me back to middle school. Simpler times. Pure nostalgia. Emo and pop punk will always have a special place in my heart. Shout out to the rest of the people in their late 20’s/early 30’s. Drink some water and keep moving forward.
31 here dude. Heard Hawthorne Heights for the first time in like 2005 or 2006. I remember seeing the Ohio is for Lovers video on Fuse Tv, and ever since I’ve been a fan.
They were just as amazing back in the day, if not better. The best show I've ever been to was 2005 at the Norva in Norfolk, VA. It was Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Aiden, and Bayside. This song brings me back. I'm thankful they've kept the same sound over the years.
I was 9 almost 10 when I started listening to Hawthorne Heights. I just turned 26 a month ago and it's crazy lol music makes me feel content with life. God bless y'all 😇
Hawthorne Heights deserves recognition and praise. Their music has changed so many lives and continues to. So happy I finally got to see them live last weekend. My inner teen self couldn't believe it was real. Can't wait to see them again in the future!!! Love these guys.
Reminds me of hanging out in my friends room, putting together a fresh skate deck, glancing over at him rolling a blunt as I take a sip from a rolling rock beer with a cigarette in my mouth in anticipation for the skateboarding session that day. Listening to Hawthorne Heights in the background through his RCA receiver hooked up to some Polk audio speakers. Seeing the others guy walk into the room as our anticipation lifts up knowing that today … today is going to be a good day with the homies skating on the streets through the perfect Autumn air in the heart of New Jersey. Those times I'll never forget until the day my body passes away. Those times will stay with me through thick and thin and I'll always remember where I came from. Thank you Hawthorne Heights and many other bands that have instilled this sense of bliss and nirvana into my soul.
You have no idea how happy I am seeing this band pop up again. Hawthorne Heights was a big part of my middle school/high school life. And even now as an adult, I can't stop listening to them. So stoked!

HH got me through some rough times in high school. The memories I have with friends; driving around in my 99 LeSabre, blaring Ohio is for Lovers and Saying Sorry, those memories are sacred. Now, at 31, HH is helping me through a different rough time.
First cd my older brother ever bought me was the silence in black and white Hawthorne heights will always have a special place in my heart. Rip Casey Calvert who was in Hawthorne heights not my brother hes fine.

The whole album is incredible. I'm on my 4th full listen, and this one is definitely my current favorite. One of the first bands I ever cared about as a teen, and here still.
My soul moves to this whole symphony of beats! Thank you Hawthorne heights! I've been listening to y'all since "Ohio is for lovers". Keep it up! Im on my way 😅😂😅
WTF! Where did this song come from? For years I had felt tired and alone. Found a "friend" but didnt have time. (unless it was late saturday nights) I have filled these nights of feeling tired and alone by listening to the music I was brought up with in my teens. This is my muse! YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

It's been almost decades since I listened to these guys. I missed their albums. Well, nothing tops Casey's screams. Oh well, I'm still happy that Hawthorne Heights is part of my teenage years, \m/ Emo's not dead after all.
When I was 15 these guys were my voice when I didn't have one.. they made the world better for this lost awkward teenager.... 17 years later . I'm still awkward and their still my voice.... got to do a meet and greet with matt and jt... they get and fully understand. I never met a band that cares as much and you feel that when you talk to then actually feel the love and appreciation they have for their fans.

It’s so great that bands that meant so much to me when I was younger, are still making music. Not just music but awesome music. The early 2000s will never die
