Well if you’ve tried it like twice then you’ve (most likely?) been using rentals which are TERRIBLE. Also if you’ve been on the ice 2 times what do you expect lol
I've never followed figure skating in my life, but I kept hearing about this amazing prodigy 15 year old (Kamila Valieva), so I watched, then came the bombshell doping scandal with her at the center of it, and after that one of the most surreal scenes I've ever seen in any sport (Valieva struggling badly and in shambles after, the silver medalist furious that she didn't get the gold, the gold medalist sitting there by herself awkwardly for 10 minutes with nobody to celebrate with). Man that was dramatic.

You cut such a fine figure out there, also the eye make-up was poppin! As a Canadian we are all forced to love Figure Skating, and I am guessing it is so popular with your followers because it is so exotic. I mean, you don't see Emma Chamberlain gliding across the rink! I wanna learn figure skating so baaad! I'd love to have an ice rink this big somewhere near me, i only have a very small one a few minutes from my house but there's always too many people there:/. I love watching you skating! It's so beautiful
If you're determined to learn and have motivation you could definitely go for it and commit to the art/sport. I recommend going early morning/before afternoon, weekdays, because afternoons are often crowded, especially on weekends. Weekends, early morning could also work, depending on the ice rink where you live. Also find out if there's freestyle hours, those are usually less crowded. And if you skate on public ice, you should take a look at the rink rules since some rinks don't allow figure skaters to do spins and jumps during public skate hours, for safety reasons.
You can totally start on rental skates if you don't have your own yet. And find some youtube tutorials for beginners to get you started. That way you can see if you like it enough before you fully commit to it.✨⛸😊
I think you have real talent. Your spins were stunning and your form seemed really graceful with out putting fourth effort. Your jumps seem to be lacking strength on your supporting foot. You just seem a tad out of shape but that can easily be remedied with time. Way to go you looked amazing I say keep up your practice because the best exercise is the one you love to do. 🤍⛸❄️🥰💙

How is it that you can do jumps and spins during Open / Public skate??? Plus... Where is everybody?? Here in N. Texas - Hockey Country - Public skate is about 100+ people on the ice and most of them are 6 to 12 years old and CLUELESS !!! So... obviously NO jumps, spins or anything that does not have BOTH skates on the ice at all times.
