    Just a tip, i take the hose off my pressure washer and use that to flood the panel gaps to flush away all the foam/car shampoo that can gather in them.

    I just learned today from this video that you can use detail brushes in between the cracks of windows. I can imagine the amount of dirt sitting in those areas. This was a great detaild video.
    I'm and up and coming detailer myself. Just started in June of 2023.

    Finally, a detailer who doesn’t start washing the car with the dirty snow foam. That drives me crazy to watch these so called professionals rub in the dirty snowfoam with their wash mit.

  • @rickdolton-h8j
    @rickdolton-h8j ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This HDD grime zero sounds very promising! i'd love one product as a pre-wash, a shampoo and a wheel/tyre cleaner. I hate having tons of bottles of different products personally. I pretty much wash my car bi weekly so hopefully its suitable for my basic traffic film from motorway driving

    • @AutoCareHQ
      @AutoCareHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s really versatile, ideal if you don’t want a million “dedicated” chemicals! It’s pretty strong though so you might find it a bit too heavy for the contact wash. For wheel cleaning and pre-wash though it’ll be perfect if you do a decent bit of driving

    • @rickdolton-h8j
      @rickdolton-h8j ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AutoCareHQ Hi Heather, thanks a lot for the reply. Do you think it would be suitable contact wash for a ceramic coated car? I coat the body and the wheels with gyeon one (full 12 month protection) so i don't mind if grime zero makes a potent contact wash in that respect :)

    • @AutoCareHQ
      @AutoCareHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d probably still avoid it for regular washing. I think it’s best suited to chemical decon washes 2-3x per year

    Another interesting watch and my top tip gleaned today was a product tip. The HDD bead coat looked really good one that I will look at when my Gyeon wet coat and Auto Finesse products are finished as I use them predominately on my wheels and plastic arches as I wax my own cars. I am away to look into costs of each as a comparison. The car looked really good at the end and that car reminds me so much on my JCW as it was the same grey colour as that Mini.

    Hi there, in the video you say that the cold weather affects the reaction of the chemicals, try to do the following: Because you cannot add hot water to the mixture in the sprayer, put the sprayer in a bucket with warm water, this will heat up de sprayer bottle and the mixture inside. Ofcourse do not use scolding hot water, just water around 20 degree Celsius. Use common sense. This will help with the chemical reaction. hope this helps. Kind regards from an amature carcleaner.

    Great video. Grime Zero looks good, how would you say it compares to Surfex HD? The Soft99 tyre wax you used on the trim reminds me of the type of product I used to use on my Dad's Mk1 Granada Ghia sidewalls over forty years ago!

    • @AutoCareHQ
      @AutoCareHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I’d say the main difference is that Grime Zero is a lot more lubricated so can be used as a shampoo whereas Surfex doesn’t really offer lubrication so I wouldn’t use it for the contact wash stage

    Does the spray sealant going on first make the tyre shine more difficult to absorb to the tyre itself. Is this the correct order for application?

    • @AutoCareHQ
      @AutoCareHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’d be difficult to apply it the other way around as I’d have to dry the wheels twice and potentially risk rinsing the tyre dressing off unless it was left off a while. I’ve never noticed that it causes any problems when applying the dressing though
